Luckie’s Cafe

Went for breakfast with three others. We were all very satisfied with the quality of our meals. There were a couple of hiccups in the order coming to the table correctly and the food took a little longer to arrive than expect d but was delicious. Not much ambience, but if you are looking for a great meal at a good price I highly recommend Luckies!

I have been going there for over a year found my honey hole then Maria sold very disappointing went there this weekend for country fried steak got hamburger with sausage gravy. Time to find a new place

When we went they were super overwhelmed —
I guess they were short a member of their wait staff. We noticed 2 tables were open and were told to sit wherever we want. Both tables needed to be cleared and cleaned and the place smelled slightly funky. We sat and waited a while for the table to be cleared and wiped down. We ordered coffees and waited. Ordered bfast and waited and waited. The food finally arrived and it was a generous portion. Grits were not creamy– bummer. Ordered the potato pancake benedict and it was a generous portion. It was totally drenched in hollandaise sauce– i could have gone with half the amount. When all is said and done i think bfast was over priced. It was not the most memorable service, food nor atmosphere.

Office lunch from Luckie’s Café again. We really love this place. Maria puts her heart and soul into the food she serves ! Today I had a simple tuna sandwich on rye with onions and it was awesome. They make the tuna there and it’s so good ! I need to try the breakfast menu, I hear it’s fantastic.

I have to say that my experience at Lucky’s café was made excellent because of the waiter Sean. As soon as my wife and I sat down we asked if the coffee was fresh? His response I will put on a fresh pot for you. Now that’s exactly what a great waiter would say. The food at Luckys is also prepared very well and our entire experience was pleasant because Sean and his attention to detail. My wife had the salad with avocado which was quite fresh and tasty. I had the gyro and it was plenty and it also was on sale because on Tuesdays the sandwich is only $ 5 which is a great deal. If you’re in the area stop by Lucky’s café.

Lucky’s has good food, and an enjoyable atmosphere.

We visited Maria at Luckies everyday during our Florida vacation this year and it is a better than ever experience. A homey, friendly establishment with great breakfasts and a loyal clientele. Everybody gets s warm sincere greeting and freshly prepared great food. They are open for lunch everyday as well and dinner several days as well. The customers all rave about their lunch and dinner offerings as much as we love the breakfasts. We will return on our next Florida vacation. Thanks Maria!

5^th time coming hear,
Have had biscuits and gravey, with scrambled eggs, well done homefries, all were orelaired perfectly.
They serve gyro platters on Thursday that are the bomb. Today we had the hamburger special. Its was good but not cooked medium rare as requested, it came out medium well. As always the stag was very accomidating. Definately will return

Large portions for the hungry! Friendly staff call Maria used to be at the Peachtree Café

Okay first let me start off by saying I love Maria and Jared! The food is amazing the customer service is amazing. Luckies is more than definitely one of my favorite lunch places! I mean this. My food is always fresh Maria can almost make anything you request. She’s fast, friendly, attentive, hard working, and entertaining. The atmosphere is great. I can’t even picture myself thinking about anything negative to ever say about luckies. I love them!

I love there food but if its delivery be prepared to wait FOREVER. I ordered some food once and it took so long i forgot i even ordered food .
But the food is sooooooooooooo good lol its worth the wait. Well kinda

I love this place. It’s my go to breakfast spot. I always get the same thing, should probably try something new, eh! haha. Maria is so nice and even remembers how I like my eggs. She makes me feel right at home.
Everyone there is friendly, the food is great and reasonably priced. Good specials every day. Definitely recommended!

cute, unassuming café with really good food. Best hummus and pita I’ve ever had, and the cuban sandwich was very tasty. I appreciated the service too — you definitely get the impression that they care about every customer that comes in. I’ll be making regular visits to Luckie’s from now on!

Delicious & loved the blackened tilapia the broccoli had and amazing taste and the mash! Yum order food for the staff and it was hot and ready in less then 20minutes

This place is a great little find. We have been coming here for about a year. Maria had a restaurant before that we also loved. We found her again and have been coming here since. Love the place and the staff.

This is a simple/​quick/​tasty breakfast and lunch spot with a large selection/​menu. They have everything from Gyros (they have a few Greek selections including Falafel wraps) to breakfast staples like egg and cheese and pancakes.

I’m truly convinced the owners did the previous reviews because they are far from accurate. Really? 4 stars? Lmao what a joke.
This place is filthy… flies galore, mind you every fly comes with mouth full of shit spreading germs. Knats flying into your eyeball as you attempt to eat. No toilet paper. Seen a dead roach. Ugly décor. Bus tubs just laying in the front of house? How does this place pass inspection? Channel 10’s Dirty Dining ought to pay a visit…
This place is tiny, and being tiny — waitresses shouldn’t be complaining about being «weeded» and making a fuss. To my dismay, I found out the one doing it was the «owner» as I overheard her complaining about other coworkers to customers. As a former server, I would never act that way in the front of house. Gossiping. Your guests do not want to hear that!
I had pancakes when I came and it was somewhat tasty with great sized portions. Biscuits & gravy were decent.
I don’t see this place doing business long unless they survive off of the deliveries because the food isn’t that bad — and that’s what gets the «one star» … Want good local food? Go to Roosters or Spankys. Shoot, go to Applebee’s.

First time there with friends for breakfast. Quite small with not much seating but a very friendly neighborhood place. With their quality of service and variety of food, they could use a place twice this size and do well. I had the Meat lovers Omelet (bacon, sausage, ham and cheddar cheese) with home fries (cooked on the grill with onions, not deep fried as in most places) and wheat toast. $ 7.99.
My wife had the Greek Omelet (Gyro, Feta, tomato and onion) with home fries and toast. $ 7.99. Coffee is only $ 1.69 with refills.
Our friends had like orders and everything was very good. A good find for them since they live close by. A good variety of items on their menu makes them a great place for breakfast or even a late lunch.
