This place is unbelievable, super authentic, and it’s a 1 of a kind restaurant. Worth driving to if your far away and if you live close by its worth going to weekly at least. This isn’t your typical Italian though so don’t come there expecting chicken parm, everything is home made and made to order, everything. What a great spot perfect for a date or a family dinner. 5 star no doubt!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in all of Florida! How is it that I haven’t written a review? Maybe I was waiting for Unilocal to add the 6th star so I could score them fairly with a 6-star review. Or maybe I was waiting for Unilocal to add an Italian Badge that I could earn, LOL. Pasta And is located in a little nothing of a strip mall and is sandwiched between Papa John’s and a hair place. Their sign is very generic looking and not easy to spot. But once you find it, you will want to be back over and over again. This is a family run restaurant with Chef Luigi back in the kitchen cooking up the best homemade pasta dishes that you could ever want. It is a pretty small restaurant, so be sure to make a reservation, especially during the snowbird season or on popular nights. If you want Italian food, don’t you want it from a guy named Luigi? Yes, yes you do. They have a great selection of fresh pasta dishes, or you can choose your own pasta and sauce combo. If you are a first timer here you should try their specialty pasta, Lumache, which is a small open shell pasta. Lumache is great for holding whatever sauce you choose. If you don’t know what to pick, they will be more than happy what to suggest. If you are not adventurous with your pasta choices, you can sick with Linguine or Fettuccine. But you should take advantage of other choices like Bucatini, a thick spaghetti-like pasta with a tiny hole down the middle, or try the Pappardelle, a wide ribbon type pasta. I usually end up with their black pasta with seafood, because it is an amazing dish. But I have been known to jump on some of their specials, like pumpkin ravioli or truffled gnocchi. On the regular menu there are other Gnocchi, Tortellini and Raviolis choices too. You will not be disappointed in any pasta dish that you choose. I haven’t had anything other that the pasta dishes in the dozen or more times that I have been here. But I am sure the rest of their food is good. My daughter loved the Veal Scaloppine. Now that you know the food is awesome, you should know the staff is as well. Gian Marco is usually in the front of the house with one or two others to greet, seat and wait on you. The small staff is very courteous, respectful and knowledgeable about the food. A very delightful and clearly Italian staff. Often times Luigi emerges from the kitchen to check on how you like the food. When have you been to a restaurant where the chef comes out on a regular basis to interact with the patrons and ask about the food? This is only done when the chef is passionate about the food he puts out. Two times I have selected Pasta And to host my department’s Christmas holiday dinner. Each time I met with Gian Marco, who worked with me to come up with a special menu and wine selection to work within my budget. Gian Marco is great and I would highly recommend coming to him if you want to have a private party at a restaurant. He makes the process very easy and is very fair with the prices and selection. I didn’t opt to rent out the entire restaurant for my parties, but that is an option. My dept parties were 25 people, which wasn’t big enough to take up the whole restaurant, so there were a couple of tables inside and outside for other patrons. The people in my dept ask if we can come here every year for the holiday dinner. Reminds me of the smells and tastes of my grandmother’s kitchen. Wish I could take her here for a wonderful Italian meal that she didn’t need to cook herself(God rest her soul). Fantastic food, incredible staff. This is a must if you like real Italian food.

Nice intimate environment. We had Pasta Fajole and lasagne. The service was good, wine by the glass very good. Fast service(we were eating early and it wasn’t full) and nice waiters. A bit pricy for the store front restaurant layout but homemade pasta like this is hard to find! Will definitely return…

Second time here… Because first time was so good we brought friends. This time not so good. Polenta was totally different flavor felt like premade rubbery texture. The mushroom sausage very disappointed was so looking forward to having again. Entrée’s didn’t disappoint !! The service was below par as well, our server mentioned about getting orders in to be able to get ready for next seating, and the restaurant always had tables open. He was not very attentive dirty plates and empty glasses too often especially on the very small tables. Not crazy about our wine leaving our table to be placed on shelf away… Dessert and coffee was good, except last visit our waiter offered us homemade limoncello. We told our guests about it so they were looking forward as they recently went to Italy and experienced. I understand it’s complimentary but we did ask and reluctantly he offered. Unfortunately we never received and had to ask again(really). In the mean time others around us they were taking out the bottle and refilling. They finally brought us ours with the check… For a small local place not filling up on Saturday night everyone should be treated like a regular. It was our second time this month. Not sure if we will try again.

We cannot believe that we went to the same restaurant that is so highly reviewed on here. While the service was nice and attentive, the bread was the best thing we ate and that wasn’t much of a show-stopper either. The gnocchi were entirely overcooked and bland and had to be sent back(which is something we shy away from). That was replaced by a spinach ravioli which was also inedible. The carbonara while the pasta was cooked well, the sauce was overwhelmed by onions. Even after sending back the gnocchi and replacing with the ravioli which we clearly didn’t care for either, there was no attempt to remove that from the bill. Overpriced, severely underwhelmed and disappointed.

Wow! This was my first time here and a last minute decision. I have heard rave reviews but didn’t think it would meet my expectations. I was wrong. We arrived about 6:30 pm without a reservation and only had about a five minute wait. The Resturant is small so I recommend making a reservation. There’s outdoor seating but we opted for inside. We started with the arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette and slightly toasted Italian bread and garlic evoo which both came with our entrees. We were offered a huge wine list. I ordered a Pinot Noir from Sonoma which was really good. $ 8. We listened to the specials which I had one of them. $ 23. Homemade Fettucini with sausage, peas and four large prawns cooked perfectly. The sauce was a light red/cream sauce with great flavor.(I didn’t have to add salt or pepper which is unusual for me). My daughter asked if they had Alfredo sauce which was not on the menu and our server explained that they could make it but they are an authentic Northern Italian cuisine and Alfredo is Americanized. He suggested a similar pink sauce made with cognac which was delicious. Better than any ala vodka or Alfredo sauce. The pasta in this dish was homemade shells topped with(optional) fresh Parmesan cheese. $ 18. She loved it.(So did I). We decided to split a dessert and happy we did. She chose the chocolate cake which was accompanied by fresh raspberries and strawberry slices decorated with white and dark chocolate to dip. The chef popped out of the kitchen to greet all the diners at each table which was a great touch. The servers really seemed to enjoy what they do and pride in the food they serve. I would highly recommend this place. Everything was spot on and the prices were surprisingly average. Portions were good too. I could’ve stopped ½ way through but it was so good I knocked it out. I’ll be back for sure. It’s obvious everything is made with love.

We have been a few times to Pasta and… the food has always been delicious and portions generous… we went last week… the service was prompt and courteous but the portions were small and the prices HUGE… we were so disappointed… although our food was good… for instance… my girlfriend ordered ravioli and she got maybe 5 raviolis for $ 19.00…my dish was a lamb stew over pasta $ 28.00 …my moms was a very generous bowl of mussels she loved… not sure of the price… we vowed not to go back… outrageous prices… way out of range!!!

I’m going to give this a four star but will point out that one dish we found to be below par. The wine selection was outstanding. The service superb. The sea bass was as good as I’ve had — a very thick portion that was cooked perfectly. We tried a muscle appetizer in a cream sauce, a first for us, and we found it spectacular. The one dish that seemed out of sorts was a simple shrimp dish. It seemed under sauced and ill conceived, the ingredients just didn’t seem to pair up properly. I won’t going to detail but we will go back and get this place another go and revise the review accordingly. I think this could be a five.

Nice little gem in this area. No one would expect this little restaurant will turn out to be such a surprise. The atmosphere and service is great, and the food taste authentic and delicious. They say they get some of their ingredient straight from Italy too. I would definitely come back here again, there are still so many dishes I want to try.

What a hidden gem! Visited this place without a prior reservation on a Friday night and I am so glad that I did. I highly recommend their salmon appetizer and the lemon sauce veal. My husband had an amazing plate of lobster Ravioli as well. This is a small but impressive family owned business. We had a great meal and received great service. Definitely will be back!

We ate here tonight as a party of 7. We started with the mushroom appetizer with cheese and the sausage. OMG! The sausage was hand made and came with this sweet and mildly spicy sauce. The bread comes with really high quality olive oil. I had the pear and cheese ravioli. They were delicious! Everything about our meal was excellent. Our server was also super helpful and friendly. Finally, from start to finish, it was less than an hour and fifteen minutes! Everyone was happy with their meal and we left very happy!

I’ll go straight to all the great details about this place ! Cleanliness: 100% if the bathroom is clean, you know the place is clean too ! Customer service: spectacular !!! The workers are so helpful. I took the waiter Damian’s advice on my dish, delicious. They are so kind and professional. Overall awesome. The chef also came out and greeted each table, spoke to us for a few as well. Family owned and you can just tell by how great they all work together. Now most importantly. FOOD: delicious. Real authentic Italian food. The pasta is homemade, the sauces are made to order when you order them, the food has real ingredients, overall delicious. I had the gnocchi with pesto and shrimp(Damian helped me choose, I’m very picky), I also had the Macadmia nut dessert. Soooo good ! I can’t stress it enough. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, intimate atmosphere, and an overall experience to enjoy. Visit this place. Date night, celebration, craving, whatever I highly recommend !

Two guests and I came for dinner on a Saturday night. The Good — The service was excellent. Servers were very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The bucatini amatriciana was absolutely delicious. The best dish at the table. My parpadella porcini tasted good too. The Bad — Presentation for the house bruschetta. Topping was slopped onto 2 barely toasted pieces of the house bread, though it tasted good. The sauce for the gnocchi sorrentina had very little taste. Too many porcini in my entrée. The Ugly — There was grit in my porcini sauce and in the gnocci sauce. The parpadella was cooked unevenly. Some of it was correctly al dente but a lot of it was stuck together and badly under cooked. I do plan on coming back, though I will try the stuffed pasta instead.

Wow! I had bookmarked this over six months ago and I’m so glad we finally went. Right down the street!!! AMAZING little family owned Italian restaurant. Went to celebrate an anniversary and we had a delightful evening. We started off with the beef carpaccio and then we both had the pasta fagouli. Highly recommend them both. Beef carpaccio — more please. The soup is a small pasta dish in itself very filling. For the main dish I had lobster ravioli with scallops shrimp and calamari. Another hit! Scallops were cooked perfectly which to me was a huge plus. Wait! Doesn’t end there. DESSERT! Tiramisu is made by the chefs wife and I’m kidnapping her. My husband barely got a bite. To top off the night one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had with a perfect little mini biscotti to dip into it. HEAVEN! Super friendly hservice and I love how small and quaint the place is. We will definitely be back!!!

I found Pasta And thanks to all the great Unilocal reviews. Located in a modest trip mall in Margate on Atlantic just west of Turnpike, the restaurant inside is cute and small, seating is a bit tight, and there are also several tables outside. I have been to Pasta twice now and both times it has been very good. Service is very attentive, and the servers are very proud and knowledgeable of the menu. The first time I went I was with family including my strict vegan sister, it was amusing to watch the server trying to accommodate her diet since she also doesn’t like tomatoes and several other veggies, our server didn’t want to just bring vegan ingredients out for her, he wanted to make sure that the food wouldn’t «lost integrity to the palate» as he put it, we got a kick of his commitment to the quality of the food the kitchen puts out, she ended up getting a Gnocchi with pesto sauces and she loved it. I ordered the Beef Carpaccio, it was a small serving but it was excellent, perfectly seasoned including caperberries. I also tried the Mushroom Truffle Pappardelle pasta and it was divine! I still think of the pasta which tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful and the sauce was perfect, with plenty of thick strips of mushrooms perfectly balanced with a touch of truffle, it was authentic and delicious. One of my dining companions ordered the Beef Bolognese — I was fortunate to try a bite, it was delicious, probably the best bolognese I have ever had, also another dining companion was impressed with the huge tiger shrimps and clams served with his the black squid ink pasta, he said the pasta was just ok but the seafood was cooked to perfection. I also tried a bite of the gnocchi with pesto sauce, they were soft and fluffy but I didn’t go crazy of it. All dinners are served with a small balsamic garden salad. I found service to be a bit stuck up and catering to the regulars, they should remember to treat everyone the same because that’s how you get regulars… my first time around our server was great about explaining the menu and explaining ingredients but we did find him to be a bit arrogant, my second time our server wasn’t very attentive and wasn’t as thorough in explaining the fresh pastas and fresh made from scratch sauces. I also found the prices to be fair for the quality and portions. Overall, I will definitely be returning and recommending it to others. Food — 5 Stars Service — 3.5 Stars Ambiance — 3.5 Stars

El solo hecho de que el sitio sea atendido por sus dueños lo hace especial, el sitio es 100% recomendable si quieres salir de la rutina de las franquicias y probar algo de buena calidad anda con los ojos cerrados, es un poco caro.
