I expected my food to actually have MEAT in it. I got very little chicken on my quesadilla and HAIR IN one of them smh…

Delicious fast food… Favorite has to be the Cheer Wine Float… Cheap prices & open till 3am Mon thru Thurs and 4 am on the weekends. So check your order cause they prob will get your order wrong! But they’re not bad about it when they do. Just ALWAYS check your order. I don’t care if it’s a Mr Pibb! Make sure it’s not cola!!! Lol I’m laughing but I’m so serious!

For a $ 5 meal, this place is the jam. Upgrade your burger just how you want it, and comes with two sides and a drink. My favorite side is the hushpuppies– just delicious. The side quesadilla is pretty durn good– just a tortilla with melted cheese and chicken, not pressed or anything, but for what it is, it’s great! Last, the service here is always on point, polite, and accurate. Very unlike the area and will absolutely keep me coming back.

I received a complimentary tray coupon as a result of not being 100% satisfied with my food during my last visit. I’ve eaten food from the Cook Out before, and enjoyed it, so I knew that my inedible, extremely soggy burger from my last visit was not the norm. I called the toll free number on my cup to complain, and they sent me a coupon for the tray. Ok, newbies, a tray consists of an entrée, 2 sides, and a large drink. For this visit, I decided to go inside to order. The restaurant was clean, and the employees were friendly. For my complimentary tray meal, I ordered a cheddar style burger (a burger with cheese, grilled onions, mayo, and bacon) French fries, onion rings, and a Cheerwine soft drink. I waited less than 5 minutes, and my food was ready! I was a little scared that my burger would be soggy again since they wrap the entrées in foil. I was a little disappointed that I only received about 5 or 6 onion rings, but they did deliver on a lot of fries! The food was hot, and tasted fresh, and surprisingly, my burger was not soggy! Food always tastes better when it’s free!

Your pretty much getting what you pay for that’s for sure. EXCEPT the portion is outrageously big. You will definitely get full. If you want a full belly this is the place. Food quality isn’t there. Setting, I wish was a bit bigger.
I recommend this establishment to a selective crowd.

Never heard of Cookout until I drove by and decided to check them out. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. It’s cheap for a reason. I don’t see myself coming back unless I’m hungover or I’m getting my cheat meal in every once in a while because this place definitely ain’t the best for your health.

This spot opened recently in Austell, so I tried it out. Unbelievable value as described by other reviews. I had a tray with a cheeseburger, fries and rings, and a banana pudding shake. I also took a chicken sandwich home for later. All of it was great. Not fancy, just straight ahead well prepared grub. The meat tastes like you grilled it in the backyard, so if charcoal flavor isn’t your thing, look elsewhere. I wouldn’t have it everyday or even every week, but when I want that grilled flavor in the middle of winter, I know where to go. I’ll also point out that the food came really fast, and I liked getting it in a styrofoam lidded tray so it was easy to eat in the car. I would’ve eaten in the restaurant but it was absolutely freezing, so they should fix that. Cashiers were wearing coats.

First timer. Didnt know Cookout was a national chain. Didnt order too much: teied the Big Double (cookout style), with a sweet tea.
Ill just say this… IM COMING BACK.

Glad this place opened up over here. Definitely somewhere I’ll be going to frequently. Might go in a few minutes actually lol. Milkshakes are great, fries very flavorful, burgers very fresh.

Worst customer service ever… waited in the drive thru line… when it was my turn no response from the employee about helping me. So rude… so disrepectful to the customer.. was closed and didn’t say anything… the lights were on and a total of 7 cars …2 before me and 4 after… but there’s more…
because it’s close to my home, and I work late… not to many places are open. I decide to try this place one more time, because they have so many locations and I’m hungry. I order my food, live less than a mile away and .wait for it… food was cold as if it has been sitting, fries are dark brown, so you can tell it’s been sitting.
Don’t do TAKE OUT from here… because if you try and call them, they don’t have their number on any of the receipts… wack!

A good place to get a no nonsense meal. The prices are great. Ordered the two hotdogs with chili, cheese and slaw with fries and corndog (the corndog was considered to be a side) and a drink for $ 5.00. No bells or whistles here but will get good food at a great price.

I love this place. Fell in love with them in NC and I am so happy there is one near my work. The food is really good and the prices are even better. Also the milkshake choices are out standing. Their burgers and my go to but hotdogs are outstanding too. The people there are super nice also.

Delicious food. Fast service. Great prices. Friendly staff. The burgers tasted like they were right off the grill. Awesome pickles. My kids loved the food! This is our new spot :) The milk shakes are amazeballs. Bathrooms very clean which is rare for a restaurant in Austell. Small place but plenty of seating and the drive thru line is wrapped around the building. Don’t miss out on this new addition to Austell!!!

Cook Out restaurants seem to be popping up all over the place. They have 6 total locations — 3 in Atlanta, along with a Kennesaw location and an Alpharetta location. The Marietta /​Austell location seems to have popped up overnight.
We stopped in today and they appeared to be doing a brisk business! Drive thru line wrapped around the building and interior packed — and it was only 3pm. I tried a burger — and like the a couple of other reviewers — I didn’t taste any char-​grilled flavor. Plus — they don’t appear to have proper cheese — more of a cheese sauce so I couldn’t get a cheeseburger — and I’m not crazy about non-​cheese laden burgers unless they’re grilled.
I’m giving it 3 stars because 1) my friend (a non-​Yelper — so this is an amalgam review) REALLY enjoyed his barbecue pulled pork sandwich (topped with slaw and Texas Pete sauce) 2) my fries were hot and tasty and 3) they serve really large portions of food at cheap prices.
