I always love Marlows at any location. Food is always good. Service is always great. Atmosphere is always nice. I like the fact that the east Cobb location is family oriented because I have a very young daughter. It’s hard to find places where you feel really comfortable taking your kids.

East Cobb has ruined this great restaurant. On the weekends, families and their hoards of children descend on this location like locusts. If you’re hoping to have a nice date night here, you may want to reconsider. It’s a shame because the staff is great and so is the food.

I love Marlow’s, and my favorite dish is the buffalo chicken wrap. If this is your thing too, ask for it with gorgonzola instead of blue cheese… delicious! Their food is always on point. It’s cool that they switch up the menu every few months and still keep a few of the favorites on there too. Great atmosphere for a business or casual lunch, date night, dinner with the gang, or a night of football. It’s basically the coca-cola of restaurants — it goes with everything! In my book, this is a staple restaurant in any neighborhood. The first time I went, I visited the location in mid town, awesome. Needless to say, when they opened near home in East Cobb, I knew I had a go-to place near home too.

Great Food, Generous Portions and Excellent Service. What more could you ask for. After buying another round of shoes for Dylan, age 2, it was time to grab a quick lunch before we heading back to Cornelius. My son and his wife recommended this restaurant and it was a great choice. Nice airy sports bar theme and a very ecclectic menu. My daughter-in-law and I ordered the Cuban Sandwich which was excellent Very good pulled pork that was nice and moist and properly prepared. My wife had Crabcakes which she really like while my Son had the Shrimp and Grits. Dylan had fish stix with a side of steamed broccoli which is his favorite vegetable. Service is good and we did not want for anything. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Such a good meal every time. The grilled salmon is fantastic. Candace was our server and she was so good.

I like Marlow’s food. Their french dip is my favorite french dip. My problem with this place is consistency and service. We’ve ordered to-go food a number of times from this location and it almost always take forever, like 30+ minutes for fairly simple food. Additionally, the preparation of said food it not consistent. The last time we got food from there it was terrible, so much so that my husband and I threw away half of our entrees. That’s a lot of money that we wasted on food we expected to be much better. Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but I’m not really eager to give them a chance at that because of the hit or miss experiences I’ve had in the past.

Marlowe’s is an excellent place to be with when spending time with friends and family. A nice environment inside. And nice and refreshing on the outside with a fan and refreshing mist on hot days, and strong heating vents for the cold days making it comfortable at all times. Their Shrimp and Crab«Nacho» Plate has been an addiction since the first time I tried it. All burgers are great, especially the Tavern Burger. Service has always been wonderful at all different locations I have been to and the many different locations never hurts!

Good American bar food. The brunch is a little expensive but delicious. Maple fried chicken, crab cake benedict, biscuits, cheese grits, eggs, potatoes, etc. Its hard for me to do buffets nowadays but if you need a hangover meal or are a huge pothead the brunch is munchies for that ass.

I ordered a burger medium rare which came out burnt. My mother ordered a salad from here which included a cobweb with a spider in it which we had to show our server to «prove it» — and they comped our entire order. I would never eat here again — nuff said.

What a difference from the Kennesaw location! It’s difficult to believe that they are part of the same chain. Executive summary: Ambiance: Cleaner, brighter, more welcoming Food: Far better Service: Impeccable as opposed to inexecrable Details: We went for lunch on a busy Friday(back-to-school shopping week) at this location in the Merchant’s Walk Center. It was crowded, but we were greeted immediately and seated without delay. I noted right away that the lighting was better. Our waiter(Nick L.) took our drink order — iced tea — and returned quickly with the tea and the requested extra lemon. He returned a few moments later to take our lunch order. We both ordered medium rare cheeseburgers and fries. Lunch came quickly and both hamburgers were cooked properly. They were full of flavor and tasted far fresher than the food at Kennesaw. Once again, Nick anticipated our needs and brought extra soufflé cups of ketchup. My one complaint is that the fries were over-salted, as they were at Kennesaw. Perhaps this is a chain policy? As we each finished, Nick seemed to appear instantly to clear the plates. When he brought the check, he also brought«to-go» cups of iced tea(with lemon, of course!), saying«It’s hot out and I thought you’d enjoy these.» In total, a most enjoyable lunch experience.

My husband and I had an amazing time. We had fantastic service and food and even received a surprise sample appetizer for being first time guests! It was traditional Tavern food but made fresh and handcrafted. We ate at outside and atmosphere was wonderful. This was such a great spot — we will definitely visit it again when we are in town.

Absolutely loved everything about my most recent visit to Marlow’s Tavern. The servers were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. We made a family trip on this occasion, so we had a baby stroller with us. We were able to store it away so it would be out of the way while we dined. We started with the Firecracker Shrimp which came with a spicy sauce as well as a sweet chili sauce. We liked both sauces, but my wife and I liked the sweet chili sauce the best. I had a Orchard Manhattan cocktail which was a little bit strong for me and wasn’t quite able to finish it, which was probably wise since I had to drive my family afterwards. For the main entrée, I ordered the Grilled Center Cut Filet and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Stack. The filet was grilled PERFECTLY! It was nice, moist and juicy. Everything came together just right. The chicken was equally amazing with its squash carbonara, apple-wood smoked bacon, sauteed spinach, and sun-dried tomato sauce. We thought perhaps we would have some leftovers, but we couldn’t stop eating it and wished we had more. We finished off the night with chocolate cake dessert. I loved that it had a nice crunch to it, and any time I can get chocolate cake a la mode made right, it’s hard to resist. Overall it was an excellent dinner, and I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the French dip. It’s made with shaved prime rib and absolutely delicious. My Husband ordered the fried buffalo chicken wrap with fried okra and enjoyed his meal as well. I would definitely recommend Marlow’s to others.

Kettle chips, truffle fries and ahi tuna were absolutely awesome. Burgers and fries were great. Kale caesar is a good alternative to fries if you order truffle fries for an app. Buffalo wrap was tasty. Fish tacos paired with asparagus was good. Turkey club(panini style) was a hit as well. Solid option. Seems like a great place to hang with friends and kick back a few tall ones.

Always fresh food — nice specials with a flair for great flavors. House crafted veggie burgers — no pre-made patties. Today’s special is a pastrami Reuben.

I asked for the strongest cocktail on their menu and my homeboy waiter didn’t fail me. I was just a wussy and couldn’t drink all of it. I ate so much here that I got sick, well maybe it was the Manhatten. I love their ahi tuna appetizer, even writing about it makes me mouth water. We also had dessert, the crème brûlée and the chocolate cake. Get the chocolate cake… The molten chocolate filling on top of the ice cream is heavenly.

I’m not sure what’s up with the staff. It’s always slow. Busy or not. Just slow. I know the owners of Marlow’s. Well, I’m sure it’s franchises now, but I know them well when they owned midtown and a few other locations. Midtown connection. Either way, I like that they brought the concert to east Cobb. They will for sure make money. Get a faster staff. I am speaking maybe more foe the delivery of drinks. Maybe a bartender that can handle volume. If the one you regularly run can’t handle volume have two. CHEERS.

I regular the Marlows at the prado, midtown, Alpharetta and east Cobb. East Cobb has consistently had the best food of all my experiences. However tonight will make me question if I am willing to go back. I will never return to the east Cobb location ever again. & I work in the industry and tend to be OVERLY forgiving. The food was good, the specialty center cut filet was perfectly cooked but terribly bland. The ahi tuna, hummus, and French dip was delicious. The service tonight was absolutely horrible. My server disappeared for extended periods of time throughout the entire meal. She incorrectly placed my order, obviously it came out wrong. A manager delivered my food and I let him know it was wrong and he made sure I got what I needed. My server didn’t even notice my food came out wrong and a manager fixed the issue until my friend was finished with his food. She made a smart remark about not knowing how I got the proper side item on the table, I let her know it was what I ordered. We sat with no refills until finally another server refilled our drinks. Even checking out felt like a nightmare, we had to flag the manager down to check us out after we told our server when she dropped the check that we were ready. Even after the manager saw we had more than one issue he still never asked us how everything was. My server was absolutely clueless and is not a good representation of The Marlow’s brand.
