Another note: Now there’s a Noodle Bar in this location, and it’s delicious! Still wish Pizza Paradise was around… but Noodle Bar helps to easy the pain a little. I hope these little family owned businesses can get a foothold in Marina again! NOTE: This place is closed now. Bummer, it was really good. Jan 2009. Such great pizza, and I love«the Wedge» salad, cabbage with blue cheese dressing, so good. Friends love the grinders(huge sandwiches) and they have a few beers on tap and a good selection in the bottle. I have hosted a few study groups here and the staff and owners are always really generous with their space and time. I see them all over Marina, too, they’re really active and have a beautiful family. It’s that sort of civic pride that makes Marina such a great place to live. Discounts for CSUMB students, just mention it when you order at the counter or for take-out or delivery. There is a huge flat screen TV for watching sports and the like, and some great cake and ice cream, really, they’ve got it all. I listed it as cheap because you can easily get out of their for under $ 10 per person, but if you choose to have a pint and/or a salad along with your pizza you might spend a little more than that. They do have some very affordable pizza-by-the-slice if you’re looking for something quick and simple, but I like to order their incredible specialty pizzas. This is a great place for vegetarians, lots of options for us here.

You might have to look around a bit to find the place – it’s front door is actually at the intersection of Reservation and Vista del Camino in the Marina Village Shopping Center. It’s GREAT pizza, fresh toppings, innovative and delicious combinations. The owners are always working, and they make you feel so welcome. They always have time to chat with their customers. They offer Hawaiian dishes, meat and rice plates, and on some nights, live music. The owners are active in the community, sponsoring childrens’ athletic teams. Great people, great food, and an asset to our community!
