Love the Noodle Bar! doesn’t look like much from the outside… but WALKIN! The food is amazing and be sure to get a BOBA Smoothie… little explosions in your mouth! Great food, low prices and good service! Chicken dishes are wonderful! Try the Phở!

Great food and Boba!!! Restaurant is a little too small for the business they are bringing in but overall, I love the Noodlebar!

Best place in marina to eat. Excellent services. You will see all your friends there as it is really the only place to go. All the meat is fresh. The boba is the best and they have tons of varieties. I probably come here too much! The chicken dishes any of them are great. No matter how busy they are they are always nice. Give this place 5 stars for food and 5 stars for service. Sometimes it can get very busy but it is worth the wait. The table are close together but the acoustics are fine so no problem. I have tried most of the noodles dishes and they are all good. Now I have made myself hungry!

I get a call February 28th, 2016 at 11:11 am… I hear at the other end of the phone«Quick make a wish!», it was my good old friend Michael. He invited me to Noodle Bar… I didn’t know what it was but I agreed to go anyway. We arrive to Marina, it was great at the high 60° degree weather. We check in and it is a 15 to 20 minute wait. I didn’t mind since the farmers market is right there, so we had something to do in our wait time. We finally get called in, a wonderful young lady seats us and starts us off with a couple of drinks. The place seemed rather small the maximum capacity is of 44 so it wasn’t that bad. I asked for a glass of water… Moments later the waiter questions me «water?» I nod and she giggles as we exchanged a smile to one another. I skim through the menu and decide to order the Chowmein. $ 6 dollars for a regular and $ 7 for large. I proceeded and got the large with extra noodles and broccoli. The wait for the food was slower than expected, in about 5 minutes it was at the table looking quite appetizing! I added different sauces they have at the table and started to feast on the large quantity of food they had provided. I took a bite and felt the juicy flavored noodles. It was amazing! At the end it wasn’t that expensive, the price range is reasonable and acceptable. Noodle Bar is a place I will definitely be going back too. You might get leftovers, but heating it up at home will do good as a little snack later in the evening. Really enjoyed my first time at Noodle Bar!

The food was OK, about what you’d expect for the price. I’d have given them three stars but there was pieces of meat in both of the vegetarian dishes I ordered and the onions in one dish hadn’t been cooked fully. The taro boba smoothie was good.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area. They are always full because the locals know where to eat.

I feel like really giving this place 3 stars instead of 4 just because I don’t think there should be a single restaurant in the world that brings out a beverage 10 minutes after bringing the entrée. I ordered chicken phở and it was delicious. I’d order it again. I don’t know if I’d order milk tea from this place ever again though, since it took about 30 minutes to bring out my coconut milk tea. My phở got to me before my milk tea did. I should mention however that the milk tea was good, but they forgot to add the pearls that I ordered. Service could have been better, but overall I’d recommend this place since the food is pretty good.

Been coming to this place for a while and it has slowly been declining. Very cheap and average food. Tonight went there and they said they were out of fried rice. So I changed what I was getting to get an entrée that was with chow mien. I got this to go and once I arrived home I realized they gave me plain white rice. I would not change my order to still receive a cheap fried rice substitute. Very disappointed with this place recently. Decline in service, quality, and overall cleanliness. Too bad. Much better locations in the area.

OVERALL: Noodle Bar is a great Vietnamese restaurant! They have delicious food, great prices, and good service as well! PROS: You can order a «regular» or «large» of almost anything depending on how hungry you are. The«large» is a great value too! And of course the food and service is awesome! CONS: The place is small and usually pretty crowded due to their popularity. NOTES: When it’s busy, expect slightly longer wait for food and for the quality of service to go down a bit. But that’s expected at any restaurant when it’s busy. Also they do take out!

First discovered their Seaside location about 4 years ago. And let me tell you, it was love at first bite. I only ever get phở(the combination is legit) or a lemongrass chicken dry noodle bowl(tell the sever you want it «SPICY»!(cue Bill Hader’s SNL Stefon skit). The fried shrimp(obviously…fried) and spring rolls are also good if you’re looking for an app. The Marina location has an actual dining room and a small«bar» that is ideal if you’re dining alone or with another person. If you’re with a group with more than 3 people, make the trek to Marina because the Seaside location is a literal bar with probably 10 – 12 stools that make larger groups a challenge, especially when it is busy. I’ve never had an issue with service here. Everyone is usually really upbeat, friendly, and very attentive(this is probably because it is always busy and they seem to have a high customer turnover). Additionally, I’ve never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for any dish. This location accepts credit cards(as long as your bill is more than $ 10). On price, it is extremely affordable. You can get a regular sized bowl of phở or a dry noodle bowl for about $ 7 after tax! What, what?!? I love this place and it is the only Vietnamese restaurant that I will go to in the area.

This place is always busy. I’ve been coming here a few years. I usually order a combo of the following: Phở: chicken phở, vegetarian phở, combination phở Appetizers: Pork egg rolls, bbq chicken spring rolls(awesome sauce) Drink: Thai tea with boba(premixed and too sweet for me, I have to add water to dilute it) I’ve also had: Bbq chicken vermicelli bowl, chow mien(and just realized I’ve been saying it wrong for a long time), pork chop. The servers are always busy but they’re pleasant. They take orders to go. Definitely worth coming here but go when they first open if you can! The wait can be veryyyyyy long and the space gets very crowded. I get a complete meal(boba, phở, single appetizer) for $ 10 – 12.

Pros + Large portions. + Decent value. + Good customer service from wait staff; super sweet, accurate, and efficient. + Fast! Food came out like lightning. + They do not skimp on the boba and jellies in the bubble teas; different varieties of milk to choose from including soy and almond. Tapioca pearls were nice and soft. Cons + Filthy bathroom. + There was a dirty fork in our table when we first sat down. Ew. Check your forks, people. + I’m Vietnamese and this is not authentic Vietnamese food. The taste of the veggie spring rolls and lemongrass tofu noodle bowl left much more to be desired. + They would not seat our party of four when two of us were there, even though we were ready to order for our entire party right away. This is odd as every other restaurant I’ve been to has seated us and allowed us to wait for just two other people to show. It’s not like we were a large party of 6 or 8 — that would’ve been more understandable. + I looked down in the crack next to our booth and it was dirty with food droppings and dust. This, in combination with the dirty bathroom and fork, makes me wonder how clean their kitchen is. I will not be returning here again unless it was for bubble tea only.

Update I gave this business another chance (my nieces love this place & I love my nieces!). Owners have alot of new employees. Food is still really good, but when you are given warm & friendly service… guess what you get a big tip & repeat business. Will I recommend to friends? YES I WILL!!!

Location: kinda hard to spot at first glance but you will find it. Parking lot is good plenty of parking spots. Service: service was great they were all very nice from the host to my server to the cashier. Plus I was surprised when they brought me water along with my Thai tea. Menu: the prices are great and the selection is even greater. I got the Phở combo and a Thai tea with boba. DrinkS: My Thai tea was amazing this just became my must go to if I ever craze Thai tea in Monterey. The boba was good with a unique taste kinda like captain crunch. Phở: it was amazing. I wasn’t impressed at first but I couldn’t stop myself from stop eating it at the end. Tip: $ 10 limit to use card. Luckily she was nice enough to still swipe me.

After a half-a-dozen or so visits, I can safely say that I’m a big fan of Noodle bar. While I was in the area working for a few weeks this was one of my go-to spots. I always knew that the food would be good. Consistency is a big deal for me and Noodle Bar had been consistently great. Rice, phở, noodles. It’s all great. The fried chicken: great. The boba drinks: great. The only thing not great is waiting; but that’s not a fault, It’s a testament to how tasty their food is. Seriously, try anything. Pro tip: order ahead if you’re getting takeout instead of ordering at the restaurant. You’ll save yourself a lot of time.
