Wow! Their ice creams are delicious! I really didn’t need or want ice cream since it was almost 9pm and cold. But the flavor choices excited me! Had lavender and black cherry and they were amazing. Tried green tea as well and it tastes as it should!(Not like store bought!!). Husband and daughter had Oreo cookie(and don’t remember other flavors) it had real cookie chunks and couldn’t stop saying how good it was. Super friendly as well and can’t wait to go back, sad that I don’t live around here! By far the best ice cream I’ve ever had!

What do you get when you put a water store with an ice cream parlor and a post office? A Plus! My friend and I heard that they had Marianne’s ice cream, so we rushed in 10 min before closing. Luckily, they were still open and were happy to serve us! They let us sample whatever we wanted and showed us all the flavors — exemplary customer service, considering most places get annoyed if you come in close to closing. I got a scoop of green tea, and my friend got a scoop of mango, and it totaled a little over $ 5(each cone was $ 2.70, no tax). The ice cream was smooth and creamy; I understand the hype now. I’m not sure if the flavors switch out, but they have 3 counters of ice cream. When we went, there were probably around 24 flavors! It’s such an unassuming little joint, but it’s definitely worth the visit.

I love going here for ice cream! Normally when I’m in Santa Cruz, I go to the actual Marianne’s Ice Cream shop. However, since I’m in Monterey for school, this place is a great substitute when I’m craving good ice cream. The workers there are always friendly. They’ll let you sample almost anything if you’re curious of the new flavors they put out. Hands down, my most favorite has to be their Green Leaf Tea flavor. It doesn’t taste like the really sweet artificial green tea flavor, instead it’s not too sweet but perfectly lives up to green tea flavor that I expected. The price isn’t bad for quality ice cream and their portions are usually very generous!

This water store provides good water at a good price. Ken, the owner, is very knowledgeable about all his products and services and very accepting of constructive criticism. They also serve high quality Marianne’s ice cream from Santa Cruz and employ good workers that treat customers well. Support this local business.

THE best ice cream I’ve had in a long time! I’m hesitant to try new places due to my daughters allergies, but they were more than hospitable and looked up ingredients for us to find a safe ice cream for her. She’s been begging to go back and I can’t wait to try some of the other items they offer. Definitely a gem in our little town!

Sometimes you have to look harder to find what’s worth it. I believe that almost everyone that isn’t lactose intolerant has an affinity for ice cream. This little jewel of a shop has the sort of mom and pop operation you rarely see anymore. Apparently they are part of Marianne’s ice cream, a homemade brew from right here in the central coast(Santa Cruz). The store features a fresh water service, is a post office and of course… The ice cream. I just tried their pistachio nut ice cream. For a huge scoop, about $ 2 I just went into a daydream while consuming this delicious delicacy. Right when I tasted it I knew it was an original flavor because the ice cream actually had a buttery fresh flavor to it. If you’re ever in this area, it’s hidden in the corner. Stop by and have a scoop. You will not regret it!

I was here a few weeks ago with my family cus my 5yr old niece wanted«Santa Cruz» ice cream.(she went previously with my parents) I ordered a single scoop of cantaloupe & the scoop portion was HUGE. Thought it was a double but I was wrong, the lady was very generous. It filled the whole cup. Second time around I literally got a small scoop of ice cream.(See picture) Not 100% positive if the girl was new or not but I would just like some consistency. I was looking forward to a BIG«scoop» like last time to fill my craving. I mean for $ 2.40 I rather go to grocery outlet & buy a box or go get a $ 1 cone at MCD’s but I like to support local so I will continue to go to this shop. I just hope I get a bigger scoop next time. lol. Favors vary but the ones I have tried. Green tea, cantaloupe, watermelon sherbet, kahlua crunch to name a few are delicious. I recommend coming here. You also get a $ 1 off your $ 10 purchase if you check in!

When you can’t control your cravings and the only place in the Monterey Bay that has the best ice cream is right in your city… YOUCANNOTRESIST! A Plus, is not only a refillable water supply store, they sell pies, nachos, and my favorite Marianne’s Ice Cream. this is why I cannot resist the cravings! I’ve been to A Plus numerous times, however, today was different. The gentleman who helped us was SOATTENTIVE and SOKIND! He seriously showed us what an «A PLUS» customer service looks like! After the week I’ve had, he made the experience so much more worth it. I wasn’t able to get his name… he wasn’t wearing a name tag but he wears a Cross Country cap. If you ever see him, you’ll be sure to have a great experience! **Ice Cream flavors I got: Pistachio Nut and 1020… BOMB!

Awesome store that triples as ice cream shop, water store, and mail box rental! Would never think this little store tucked away into a shopping center would have all this. Me and and my girlfriend came in for the Marriane’s ice cream and it turned out to be one of the best ice cream we ever had. They had Butter Brickle which was like sweet cream vanilla and nice little crunchy toffee pieces. The staff is really funny and friendly! Come and check it out, you won’t regret it!

The snicker doodle cookie dough was so good and just one of their very unique flavors! I wish I could have tried their a la mode options of locally made pies, they looked delicious. Definitely will go back again.

Small selection of ice cream. They gave me fudge marble when I asked for blackberry. Still good a little pricey for ice cream but what are you going to do. They are the only one in town

I’m assuming that this business listing is for A Plus Market, which is at 215 Reservation Road(we couldn’t find a 3170 Del Monte). The ice cream and service rock!

(: Boba-Foodaholic Says :) This place has Marianne’s ice cream which I can’t go all the way to Santa Cruz to get their ice cream. So whenever I crave for an ice cream, I go here to get some. Their services are really good! Whenever I go, they welcome you with a smile and let you try every ice cream you want. Also, the price is not that pricy compare to if you were go to get at Baskin Robins or other super market for several flavors. However, it’s the fact that sometimes they close little early which makes me disappointed because I was craving for an ice cream but they were closed several times. Also, they have a place to eat your ice cream even though it’s like 4 tables, it’s never full. The one thing I don’t like about is that their green tea doesn’t taste like the one that I like but it’s okay because other ice cream tastes better :)

The best ice cream I’ve ever had! It’s creamy and the flavors are amazing and inexpensive for the size. The employees are great. Very attentive and helpful. I will be coming here from now on.

Delicious! I got two scoops in a cup. Green tea and Vanilla. My favorite flavors… It was $ 4.25. And one scoop is big! As an ice cream fan, it is great! I I stopped here on the way back from backpacking in Big Sur, Sykes. So I needed a lot of sweets. I was really satisfied. The service was friendly, too. I will stop here again when I go backpacking to the south.

HANDSDOWNONEOFTHEBESTICECREAMSTOHAVEEVERGRACEDMYLIPS. FLAVOR5 LOCATION5 PARKING5 WAIT5 STAFF5 PRICE5 Growing up in this town this is definitely a locals only spot. Tucked away in a unsightly plaza, next to a liquor store there is a water refilling store that so happens to sell incredible ice cream. Doesn’t it seem almost too good to be true? I can’t stress how oddly amazing this place is. They also offer rental mailboxes, water coolers in crazy designs, nachos and pie courtesy of another company located in Santa Cruz(where the Marianne’s ice cream is originally from.) Every couple weeks the flavors change depending on the season and their recent shipment giving you the opportunity to sample all the greatness Marianne’s has to offer. Don’t worry though the classic 1020 — Carmel and chocolate swirls in cookies and cream ice cream– will always be around(thank god). But every once in a while I like to try something new just for fun. I got a huge waffle cone with three scoops of ice cream macapuno(Filipino styled coconut ice cream with chunks of coconut meat throughout), lavender and toasted almond. I was most overjoyed with the toasted almond because it reminded me of my favorite drink almond milk tea! Plus there were bits of almonds to add another dimension to the creamy consistency. The service was amazing giving me sample after sample until my I desire mind made a final decision. Huge smiles across their faces, they patiently and happily assisted me. I love this place ever since I was a kid growing up here and I always make it a point to at least stop by once when I make the trip to visit family.

Better than 31 flavors! This place is a little hole in the wall right in the Grocery Outlet parking lot. I got the Cinnamon Carmel sundae soooo good. Tastes like horchata or a churro yum. Great service and large portions. Coming back to try more flavors…

Tucked away behind Carl’s Jr and Dollar Tree this place is soooooo frickin fantastic!!! My sis, who’s a local, told me that Marianne’s is a local/California chain from Santa Cruz. There were several flavors to choose from which you can sample to make your choice. I decided on half scoops each of Horchata & Kahlua Krunch. The Kahlua Krunch is basically the coffee flavor with fudge swirl and chocolate toffee bits. The ice cream is very smooth and creamy. Like gelato. Too bad there isn’t any in Vegas as I’d definitely be a regular.

Salted caramel ice cream is delicious! Service was a little rushed… I asked what the flavor on the end was and the lady said ‘1020’. I asked ‘what is that?’ and first she looked at me like I should already know. I stared at her, waiting for an answer. Clearly a bit annoyed, she told me caramel, fudge and brownies which sounds delicious! I wasn’t sure what her attitude was about since I’m not from the area and have no clue about code numbers for ice cream, lol. A nice lady in line behind me told me the significance of 1020. I can’t remember what it was, something about the original address of the creamery where the ice cream actually comes from, historical significance and such. Whatever, the lady working the counter acted like it would kill her to give me some insight. There were 2 people in line, not a huge rush. Beyond that… the next time we visit my lil’ sis, we may go back if my kid wants to. I’m cool on A Plus.
