Didn’t blow my mind with the soft serve but they were closing and stayed open for me. The sign says open till 10PM but what they mean is if they are slow they will close. The owner is a great guy. Worth a stop.

Food barely eatable and should be closed down with health violations. The soda machine should be condemned and the stain ceiling tiles are nasty. Eat at your own peril

This place is a gem, truly a place that the south suburbs should be proud to have. Johnny takes pride in his establishment and he engages the customers who visit. He’s such a humble man and I’m so glad that he appreciates his customers. My favorite meal is The Cowboy(American style). I am convinced that God Himself delivered this sandwich from heaven for us to partake in. This blessing is a 16oz sirloin covered in mushrooms & carmelized onions, along with A1 served on garlic bread. I’ve tried other items on the menu and I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. I have yet to try the Wild Bill, but that’s next on my list.

This place used to be called Willie’s Wee Née Wagon and was here for many years. It has quite a colorful history from those days as does the current owner. Another writer is spot on when he said the owner is very involved and puts his heart into what he does there. The menu is just huge and there are several unique items you do not see in these type of places. It is far more extensive than before. I’m my opinion the hot dogs here are mediocre at best for me. I would rate them near the bottom of any I have ever tried. They do have an all beef offering which I will try next time in hopes of a better dog. We also tried the Italian beef which was good. The fries are very good and the corn dog is a nice treat. This place has good service and there seems to be a faithful stream of regulars. I will come back again to try some of those specialty sandwiches which look great. They also do pizza here which they were selling quite a few of while I was waiting for my order. Everything here seems to be done to order so you are not getting food, like fries, that have been sitting. They are also in process of putting in a sit down area in an adjacent building. This will be good as for now this is strictly carry out.

Best burgers, dogs, and pies in town!!! The owner is very hands on and loves what he does and puts pride in everything that comes out of the kitchen. Reasonable prices and everyone gets treated as family. High quality products at low prices you can’t beat Johns prices and you can’t beat his meat so don’t try to!!!

Im always looking for something new or different to try. The minute I heard about Johnny’s Wee Née Wagon I knew I needed to make a stop. Theyre out of the way from me a bit but I kept trying and trying to make it over there. One day I found myself like 6 miles away from them and had a little room so I decided today was the day. I rolled up into their little establishment which wasnt hard to find right next to a gas station and proceedee to eyeball the menu. INTERESTING!!! Which I coulda been a cow cause Im pretty sure I read or heard somewhere that they have like 4 different stomach chambers!!! Ughhhhhh. Unfortunately for me all’s I have is ONE little olé’ stomach so I cant eat as much. All I could handle is three items!!! I just had to try the WILDBILL they had featured in Chicago’s Best. It did not disappoint. I ordered loaded potatoe wedges and cheeses sticks to go with it and I HADMYSELF A MEAL!!! It was delicious!!! Those loaded potatoe wedges with nacho cheese and bacon bits complimented my sandwich perfectly!!! I really really really need to make it back because I saw a few really good and unique items on their menu that I really really really need to try out!!! Belgium Waffle Beltbuster sandwich!!! WOOOOOOOW!!! Sounds like a FOODIE’S DREAMSANDWICH!!! I shall return!!! ;-)

OK, I visited Johnny’s WeeNee Wagon yesterday. I was on a mission to get a «Wild Bill» Burger… and it was good. kinda sloppy but good. I had a «Doberman» Red Hot… It was good as well. The service was good and courteous. I plan to revisit the«Wagon» again, because the menu is quite extensive. I mean they have ALOT of selections. So I’ll revisit the wagon. What I had was good & solid. A nice sturdy meal…

For years, Used to have the best Polish around(steamed), went in today it was deep fried(yech). Prices are great and my daughter really enjoyed her house burger. Looking forward to the opening of the dining room(since March). I hope they address the drainage problem in the parking lot soon.

Went in there Sunday to get my usual 2 dogs w/everything, totally on point. I brought my son to experience the wagon. He ordered the depression special 7 inch pizza n pop. Been meanin’ to order the pizza, it looks great. I took a bite n thought the sauce was da bomb. Initially they burnt his pizza so they told us they were gonna make another. While my son waited, the helpful lovely young lady at the counter gave him some free soft serve. He enjoyed it immensely. We also ordered the seasoned steak fries, good stuff. Definitely recommend this institution.

How much can you expect from a place called the weenie wagon? Well whatever you guessed you have definitely underestimated. This place serves more than dongs. And the gyro I ordered was ginormous. I am from California where Greek food is popular but Illinois knows how to do it better. Big portions, great food, reasonably priced. I would come again but I’m not ordering a dong.

I got the Pioneer burger which had Bbq beef and an onion ring on it. The burger was very tasty. The fries were very good as well. Wondering what else I should get next time. I went back and got the meat ball sandwich and fries. Let me say very good. Gives Bartolinis and Rubinos a run for their money! I ordered their Italian Beef Pizza and it was scrumptious!

I grew up in the area, so I’ve had their dogs since I was a kid. This is the first time I’ve been back in a while, and I was pleasantly surprised by a really good dog! The nostalgia of the old place is another thing you just can’t find anywhere else. A lot of these newer places pay a lot of money for a retro, rustic, or even run-down look, and few accomplish it in a way that actually brings you back in time. Nice job, John!

I just had a hotdog with everything from Johnny’s Wee Née Wagon and it was good. A nice soft poppy sead bun with a pork dog. The dog was hot and the vegetables were all cold and its good to get the cold and the hot with every bite. Not too much mustard on the dog. I like that. Not the cleanest hot dog joint in the area but it is a wagon.

I have been going to the wee née wagon for years for lunch but never tried there newly specialty pizzas. After seeing so many posts on Facebook about this pizza I had to try it. had the chicken Philly pizza with 4 cans of pop and dessert for a price that was untouchable by any other pizza places out there. my first time ordering this pizza I didn’t think it would be enough to feed my family so I ordered some extra food just incase. when I was given the pizza at the door I couldn’t believe the weight of this pizza. this chicken Philly was packed with ingredients and the cheese they use really made this pizza!!! this was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. we always ordered our pizzas from kenootz but we have been looking for a new pizza place in the area since kenootz has been screwing up our orders and the pizzas were coming burnt and all the cheese shifted to one side like the delivery guy was just tossing our pizza around. definitely would never order from there or any other pizza place after trying these fully loaded pizzas. we have been ordering from johnny’s for the past month trying each of there specialty pizzas. there all excellent but the chicken Philly is my personal favorite. keep up the good work guys.
