The food is pretty standard here which is great when your primary need is a good meal with good service. I have been eating at longhorn restaurants for a while now and for the first time tried their spicy chicken bites. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were, the chicken was done right and the sauce had the right amount of sweet and spice. Only request to longhorn is — increase the quantity please. :)

This was our first time at Longhorn Steakhouse in Marborough. We had read the other reviews and expected good things however we were disappointed. The one positive note was the hostess, Leah, who was very pleasant and never had an idle moment the entire time we were there. Our waitress was pleasant enough when we got there, however our steaks arrived tepid and we had to ask the waitress to heat them up and she wasn’t too happy about that. It also took much too long to warm up the steaks. Prior to this we received our salads. The parmesan peppercorn is delicious but the dressing is heavily applied so recommend asking for it on the side. I had the balsamic vinaigrette which I thought was more vinegar than anything and also applied with a heavy hand. Also, incidentally, it’s advertised as being a chopped salad but it’s just a regular salad no big deal but not what we were expecting. The bread was good but way too dried out. I don’t know if it’s over cooked in the oven or if it’s set under heat lamps for too long. It was very dry on the outside. The baked Idaho potato and sweet potato were both delicious. I thought that the restaurant could’ve been cleaner where we sat the door the floor was quite dirty. The bathrooms were also covered with paper towels. These were understandable given that it was 8 o’clock in the evening when we arrived, but management clearly is not on top of its game. Our waitress, who shall remain unnamed, was not very attentive and, at one point, was seated at a nearby booth checking her cell phone. Consequently, we weren’t very attentive with her tip. We never saw the manager not that we asked to see him or her but nobody circulated around to the tables to see how everything was. The hostess however, true to form, asked how our dinner was and if everything was OK. Of course, we didn’t get into it with her. It was too late at that point. We won’t be going back.

Nice flat iron steak and sides. Delicious bread and drinks and a good value. Definitely worth a visit.

Ate lunch yesterday at Longhorn, had the Rib Eye steak with a baked potato. The Rib Eye steak was out of this world, tasted nice and tender and cooked the way I wanted it, medium well. The price was not bad at all $ 17.95. For dessert I had a piece of Banana Cream Pie which was great also. Long Horn has always been one of my favorite restaurants for steaks and I have never had a bad meal there either.

Eaten here multiple times while traveling to Marlborough. Never had a bad meal. Food is always perfectly prepared and very flavorful. One of the better chain steakhouses.

Not generally big on chains. In fact, not at all. But this place is a pleasant surprise. Sit at the bar, grab a local draft, and order something simple. Like a salad, ribeye, and potato. Skip the steak sauce and seafood and blooming onions. You came here for steak, so have one. There, don’t you feel better now?

Staff needs training. Our order of mussels contained about half unopened mussels that should not have been served. A replacement order still had three unopened. The manager assured us they were safe to eat because they were«flash frozen to kill the bacteria» I managed to not laugh but suggested he might not know a lot about seafood and asked if they should have provided tools with which to open them.

The location is a bit odd, but the food is always great and at a fair price. It’s one of the best choices in the area. Parking stinks though since it’s at the end of a strip mall

An unusual experience this time around. In my years of experience as a customer, I have never had an unhappy experience at any Longhorns, until today. The server was slow and inattentive. The table beside us that came after U.S., got fast or better service from the same waitress. It to a long time just to get a cup coffee, never mind the refills, which we requested 3 times and finally got when we were about to leave. Our meals took a long time to be served and when finally served, our meat was room temperature. My salad was wet with water(lack of draining after rinse). The warm bread that is normally served at beginning of service came after our apps and only when we said something. It is also customarily for a Manager to come to each table to ask and see how your experience is and we got NO visit. Matter of fact, I hardly ever saw a Manager in the dining area.

Ask for another waiter if you are put with an old, bald, and asian guy. He sucks and is rude. I did not leave a tip. Service is staring to suck at this place.

Good T-Bone. Yes, it’s thinner than a Ruths’ Chris but hey, you don’y pay that Ruths Chris price either! For a chain it is good comfort food. I also had the Mac & Cheese as a side… very good! The waiter was a blast! I wish I could remember his name. I will check the receipt and update if found!

Food was good but not great… I had the NY Strip Steak and it was a little overcooked for what I ordered. However, traveling quite a bit I usually just take a seat in the bar and I have to say the bartender this evening was probably the hardest working and most efficient worker I have seen behind the counter. The place was packed and every seat taken and by herself she managed to work through everyone’s orders and deliver food on top of it. Not a glass went dry and she was very pleasant the entire time. For her alone I am rating this a 4… otherwise it gets a 3.

I really love this place. The food is always great and the drinks are always pretty decent. The service we received last night was by far the worse. I don’t know what was wrong with her but after our food came out she went to our table only once… to take out plates away. We had to ask another server for more water, and A1 steak sauce. This girl didn’t even bring our food up she literally took our order and disappear until the very end of the meal. I’m watching out for that Blondie… never seating in her booth again.

The person at front desk is doing his servers a disservice. 4 tables open for 10 minutes, and no effort made to fill them, with a long line getting longer. Efficiency is not a priority.

My favorite steakhouse, no doubts. Service, food, price… all very good. This location is my ‘GOTO’, ALWAYS. Chicken Parmesan is DELICIOUS, I always feel tempted, even thought its a steak house, uahsuahsuahs

Every time ive ever gone here has been amazing in all ways. They are so nice with small children and large groups. The food is always hot and nothing is ever missing from our order. Temperatures are always right. I love the butterfly cut steak. Or chicken. The salads are good too :}

I don’t know many steakhouses that offer a meal for two for $ 30 with a dessert and salad as well as entrees. I had the salmon here and it swam upstream right into my heart. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned with the perfect amount of salt and pepper. The chocolate stampede cake still comes to me in dreams and I wake up with a puddle of drool on my pillow. It was the perfect combination of light mousse and savory chocolate. The portions were enough to put a cow out to pasture and then some, you’ll likely have plenty to take home unless you’re a competitive eater and want to experience a different type of chocolate stampede later that day. All in all I can’t wait to go back and try more of their food. The waitstaff was attentive, the bread was hot and fresh and I had more than my share. Also, they were open during a huge snowstorm, so extra props for being available on a less than ideal day.

We have been back many times since my last review and have not had one bad experience here — even on NYE when they were crazy busy the food and service were still really good. The prime rib at this location is beyond amazing. It is always cooked perfectly tender and very flavorful. It also has the perfect fat to meat ratio that prime rib should have! The au jus they serve on the side compliments the meat well. The wild west shrimp appetizer — although it is fairly not complicated the mix of the tiny fried shrimp, hot peppers and dipping sauce is really well balanced. I have tried a few of their signature cocktails — the strawberry lemonade(vodka) and the blackberry firefly tea. Both were made perfect and left me wanting to order more!

I have had a torrid love affair with Longhorn Steakhouse for many years. Many years ago, there was my first love, the Longhorn in Boston. Then, years later, the Longhorn in NJ near my office. Now, I have started a new affair with the location in Marlborough, MA. I had been traveling all day, rolled in about 40 minutes before closing and there was only 2 other people at the bar and almost no one in the restaurant. I desperately needed a good meal. I was worried I was going to get lousy service so close to closing at a near empty restaurant in a suburban strip mall. But no! I was greeted warmly by the bartender as soon as I pulled up a barstool. She took my drink order and promptly brought me a Perfect Margarita — which was perfect by the way(booze comes in a shaker and ends up being 2 margs for the price of 1). Longhorn is owned by the same company that owns the Capital Grille, so not only do they have Stoli Doli drinks, but they have excellent steaks. This may be an overly-themed restaurant, but the steaks are no joke. I got the Flo’s Filet cooked medium. The steaks come with a salad and a side(I got fries). On top of that, they bring you warm multigrain-type bread with whipped butter — oh so good. My steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. My fries were gross, so I asked for fresh fries. The bartender apologized sincerely and went to the kitchen to get a new batch of fries going — and minutes later, produced a plate of piping hot, brand new fries. Excellent stuff. The bartender did a great job of taking care of me and the food was excellent, what more can I ask?
