I was craving a legit jersey bagel on my last travel home. Stopped here for a quick bagel– not bad but not the best I have had. Bagels were $ 1.00 each and tasted doughy like they should.

The owner insulted me multiple times about my nationality and then told my girlfriend she could do better than me. After this he then proceeded to give me a horrible bagel with the wrong cream cheese. I will not go there again.

Run down place but the owner and bagels are great. After living in NY, these are the closest things to good bagels in south jersey. Highly recommend.

I don’t know anyone would go here, the bagels were bland and inconsistent, and the eggs for the sandwiches were microwaved along with the breakfast meat. Free World Bagels is a stone’s throw away and worth whatever effort it takes.

How is this place getting good reviews?! I went there for the first time and ordered pork roll and cheese on a bagel. Or should I say a burnt bagel with microwaved pork roll and cheese. Disgusting! I actually drove down the road and bought all the ingredients at shoprite. Went home and made myself a much better sandwich.

Nice service from the owner and friendly regulars who helped with suggestions … pretty good bagels that are reasonably priced. You can buy a variety of bagels in whatever quantity or combo you desire. There is also a variety of cream cheeses available.

I guess Marlton isn’t the place for Brooklyn Bagels, so you need to go to Brooklyn for them. But the bagels here can range from excellent to dry. Not sure what makes the difference, but we just had some fluffy, crispy, bagels that were still warm. loved them. On the other hand, I’ve had disappointing dry bagels here too. But perfection would ruin the experience of visiting a local store where the owner is usually on premises. Since he’s from the area, I think those who assume he’s a «NY Guido» are wrong. Actually, the local phonies are the ones who need to take a long look at themselves.

The owner is rude, the place is a hole in the wall, but who cares… the bagels are really good! I got the lox special which was a reasonable $ 7, good-size helping of very tasty lox and the bagels are fresh, soft and fluffy. All around a great bagel experience, will definitely go back.

How anyone can give this horrible, dirty and poor quality establishment a positive review is beyond me. No grill. All microwaved eggs and bacon etc. Rude owners who think they are ny guidos make for a unpleasant experience. I live within a mile and I gladly drive out of my way to go anywhere else!

Great Jersey bagel shop, great Jersey hospitality. We were driving by Thanksgiving weekend after spending the weekend gutting our shore house. Owner delivered cookies and lollipops to the kids waiting in the car. We thought we were getting special treatment, until the next customer came in and he walked cookies out to his kids too. Small business, big heart. Bagels were fresh, big and warm.

The bagels here are big and fluffy, but be careful — your everything bagel toppings might get burnt if you ask for it toasted! This is a teeny tiny hole in the wall shop, but that’s about as authentic as a Jersey bagel place gets. Prices are affordable and the bagel varieties are all the standards.

i dont know why this«i think im so cool because im from brooklyn» person gave 1 star here. but this place is awesome. they always have the bagels i want at any time of the day. the breakfast sandwiches are the cheapest in the area. my favorite is the lunch on a bagel. the blt on a toasted everything is the best choice but everything else is definitely great. the cream cheese here is amazing as well. i like the strawberry the best but the lox is some of the best i have ever had. definitely best bagels in the area!

A Brooklyn born and bred colleague sent me here in search of real NY bagels, but this was not to be. Visited twice, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the everything bagel I got the first time was just dry and roll-like. Second time here, I came with my son on Black Friday, but the plain and cinnamon raisin bagels were similarly dry. In fact the raisin bagel crumbled as I sliced it in half. The staff there are nice and accommodating, but one of their customers who was loud and boisterous made my son and me feel a bit uncomfortable. Just getting my bagels bro, no reason to hate.
