I take my kids Here a few times a month, the staff is very nice to the kids and gives them some donut holes sometimes. The donuts are good but I eat the ham and cheese croissant and it’s good. The Thai tea is good I will get that sometimes. The price is good as well breakfast for a family of four for under 15 $ a fun weekend treat for the kids

Woman behind the counter was friendly, prices were fair, I got two of the donuts with coconut on top(yum) and they were spongy and were great. The cup of hot chocolate i had was excellent for not being an espresso stand.

Been here only once because I was in the mood for donuts. It is right across the car wash on Alhambra street. There is a lot of parking for this small shop — which isn’t a bad thing. The area itself is pretty big inside, mainly because there isn’t much inside. It was really quite and when I walked in I thought nobody was working at the time. This Middle aged women came up and took my order. Pretty quiet and didn’t say much. Got my order and drink and left. Was sort if an awkward experience but whatever. Ate the donut and it tasted pretty good but lacked some flavor. Also later that evening I had a tummy ache, most likely from the donut. Will not come back to this place.

Donuts are ok. The staff is friendly. But they lose out on sales having a $ 4 minimum for credit card use, that’s pretty cheap of them. I just wanted a donut or two and some chocolate milk to take with me to eat at work. I usually don’t carry cash so I wasn’t going to get 3 more dollars worth of donuts just so I could use my credit card, so guess what? They lost out on a sale.

It’s clean on the inside, and the doughnuts taste fresh! I’ve been here twice now and haven’t had anything to complain about. They have muffins too, if you’re early enough.

We come here every Friday. my kids love it and look forward to our weekly visit. I think the food is good. The breakfast sandwiches and tasty too. my negatives are that they never have my maple old fashioned doughnuts. They always sell out. I would just think that if they are that popular they would make some more. Also, 2 of the girls that work there are super nice. There is one other lady that pretty much picks apart what we order and stares at the kids a lot like they might *gasp* take a different chocolate milk then we paid for out of the fridge! Luckily she isn’t there often on Fridays so it isn’t a huge issue. We did have a problem with her once in the past that almost resulted in us never returning… We gave it another shot and I am glad we did!

Looks like this place has been here a while and popular among the locals. Around 10am many items were gone. Nothing to come out of your way for but a definite stop if you are in or passing Martinez and want a cheap sweet treat.

I just wanted to give a shot out to this establishment. I have been going here for a little over 2 years, and I love their donuts! I found this place running an errand to Downtown Martinez and it is a Jewel in the rough. I always get the Apple Fritters and love the service here. These are the Best Fritters I had bar none. It is a family owned/run business so it feels like home. I always see different people here and it’s nice to bring the kids. They also serve Coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches during lunch, but I have not tried them. The place has a small parking lot, but you can always find room. The place has a couple of tables and you can stretch out and read the paper comfortably. I need to be more adventurous and try more of the varieties of the donuts they have to offer, but I am branching out to the Donuts holes, and Maple bars and Chocolate old fashions.

I sometimes stop here in the morning on the way to work. Donuts are not really the best nutritional choice, but there’s nothing like coffee and a good donut in the morning to start your day. Maybe that’s why I spend so much time at Tim Horton’s when I’m in Canada. This place is a solid 3 stars for this genre. It is run by a nice, friendly family that provides good service and tasty donuts. I also sometimes run into some retirees and other community members that I know. This shop is also a convenient turn off Alhambra Avenue with ample parking.

I’ve gotten an apple fritter twice in the last month from this place and they have been the 2 most perfect and delicious fritters i’ve ever had. still slightly warm, just the right amount of moistness and crispiness right where it needed to be. Also they have Hawaiian Nut coffee, which when consumed with a glazed old fashioned donut makes your mouth taste like Macaroons! ****
