The food itself was good. But I asked for chips and they gave me a bag with 10 pieces in it. They were soggy and stale. Kidding me? Paid extra for that and that’s what I get? Love going here but really disappointing not sure if I’m going go there again.

Give us more meat! that is all we ask. Im not going to go too much into detail but this place needs to clean up their act. Multitasking is key.

I had the very worst experience last night at the chipotle on Arnold drive in Martinez. Ordered on line went to pick up the food was ready but barely warm. The order was mixed up with the wrong names but we fixed that. The burritos were both so spicy I was unable to eat any of it after the first bite. I was very very specific while ordering. I couldn’t have been clearer but they managed to screw it up. I had also ordered chips with guacamole but I took one dip into the guacamole and my lips burned for almost ten minutes. There was obviously something added to spice up the guacamole. It was also in one of the burritos which was why they weren’t edible. I wanted to give this place a chance after all the talk about ecoli. However, I will never go back and am calling to get a total refund. Please keep your money Taco Bell out does them by a mile.

I love Chipotle, but I really HATE this location(parking is a mess and employees seem unhappy). Unfortunately, it’s the most convenient location so I go here whenever I need my fix. The food is standard Chipotle fare and I’ve never gotten food poisoning. Portion sizes vary greatly depending on your server for the day.

This is the most poorly run Chipotle I have ever been to! Upon arriving at 11 there door was still locked and the employees inside looked frantic and unorganized. After they finally opened the door the order I placed online had not yet been started and their fajita veggies and steak had not yet been cooked. So I waited for the fajita veggies to be cooked. When they were finally ready the lady put the smallest amount of veggies possible. I asked her for more veggies and I don’t know if she didn’t hear me the first time or she chose to ignore me but I had to yell over the glass for her to put more veggies on my burrito.(I know I was not being unreasonable because the guy next to me had the same complaint). At this point the line was growing fast and people were still waiting for the steak.(The lady next to me wanted steak on her burrito but had to get chicken instead because the steak was still not ready). When I went to pay for my food I bought a cup so that I could enjoy my favorite carbonated beverage but their soda machine was not working! The coca cola was completely out of service and the root beer was brown water! Fed up I decided to return the cup because I did not want to stick around any longer for them to fix their soda machine. I ended up waiting for the manager who was doing something in the back to finally come out and return the cup. When I asked her why the store was poorly run and explained to her what the issue is, she did not seem apologetic or concerned that her store has such poor customer service. I love Chipotle but I will never eat at this location ever again. If you are going to eat at this Chipotle so you could avoid the line don’t bother ordering online because it won’t be ready when you get there.

Im not quite sure why this place has a rather low rating. We had a very good experience. Polite employees, good food and inexpensive. More angry jerks leave reviews than happy, pleasant people.

First AND last time I will ever eat at a Chipotle. I ordered the steak salad. terrible! Steak pieces had LOTS of gristle, almost every piece that went into my salad, not to mention it was extremely bland. Corn salsa, eh. flavor of the salad dressing, eh. If it wasn’t for my work buying me lunch, I probably wouldn’t have ate here to begin with but at least now I know better! Don’t waste your time(or money)!

This is a great Chipoltes! The people that work there are all friendly. The portions are generous and the food is always fresh. Also the lines are a lot less than some of the other locations.(I probably shouldn’t have said that… lol)

Typical chipotle, good food and fast service. I’m a chipotle fanboy so you might say this review is biased, but all and all its a

Great service at every location. Very clean and tidy. Over all great experience. I am a big chipotle customer so I now know some workers who love me and my family to the point where they give us free meals on our birthdays or when we have good news. The food is excellent and the best on the go food ever. The only bad thing I can say is that some workers at this location have a lot of attitude and are rude with customers.

I came here at noon for my lunch break and there was literally no line! That’s a Chipotle first for me. The staff was friendly and efficient. And the food standard was up to par with other locations. I’ve heard lots of reviews talking about small portion sizes… if you ask nicely they will always give you more! It goes both ways people! I’ve heard customers complaining about having too much of this and not enough that, well they are told to give less because it’s easier to add more than take some out or start over. So I urge you to just communicate with the employees in a respectful manner and they will produce the product you’d like. And don’t forget, guac cost extra.

How hard is it not to get cheese in the guacamole! I don’t get it next time there is cheese in my stuff I’m gonna go return it… It’s super disgusting the cross contamination at chipotle.

Mmy husband and I love their food. However, after the price increases in July, did you know that they CUTBACK on the portions that go in, specifically the meat. A worker told me, they have been given specific instructions on how much to give us, it used to be fairly generous. Just like Dreyers ice cream did a few years back. Made containers smaller, did not lower price. In fact, it went up. This is a new corporate tactic for them to make more money! Just in the last few years. We pay more, get less and they hope we won’t notice or realize. It doubles the price increase. Who suffers, us! Folks, it DIDNOT used to be like this. This is big corporate greed in action. Complain! I guarantee you they do not raise the poor workers pay. No one is getting raises anywhere, just more work to do. But the corporate big wigs DO get raises, larger mansions, jewelry and more fancy cars. I hope you young people will fight corporate greed. I am a senior citizen and too tired to fight it, but I see it and it sickens me. Corporate greed is running our country. Take heed.

1. The parking lot is really small. 2. The line moves slower than any other chipotles, because the staff is unable to work as a team and none of them know how to multi-task. 3. Speaking of unable to multitask, Why do they ask me what kind of rice and beans I want, while pressing my tortilla, if 100% of the time when they do that, they place the tortilla on the foil and then look up and say, «did you say Brown Rice and Black beans?» No, no I didnt. 4. When I’ve tried to skip the line and do an online order, it always ends up being just as difficult as making it through the gauntlet. 5. I think another reason the line moves slow compared to other chipotles, is because they only have 1 tortilla press. Most of them I think have 2 tortilla presses, so the initial worker can put more product out faster. 6. A few times I’ve bitten into like, rock hard«somethings» in the chicken. Probably a nerve or a bone piece or something. That being said theres a few people that work there that seem to be on top of things, and the food generally comes out like a clone of every other burrito I’ve had at chipotle. Cool.

Food is good, as always. Placed an order through the app at 1:35, pickup for 2. Came at 2, line out he door. When I came up to the pickup counter I stood there with no eye contact for 7 minutes. I get it, they have a line, but I figured they would want me to get my food and get out. Then one staff member who was bagging chips says«the line starts over there». Duh! But I placed my order online. When they found it, it wasn’t ready. So my 1:35 order, and 2pm pickup was received at 2:13…ugh. Seriously chipotle. Get it together and work on customer service. Annoying.

One of the worst Chipotles I have been to. Lines moves slow. People are nice but have little to no training, and aren’t very professional. I think management is absent or isn’t really management. They run out of food. Last time was guacamole, today was white rice. As I was asking for guacamole(I know it is extra, now $ 2.10 wow) there were flies all around it. I was so blessed that the two unprofessional workers were telling each other about flies landing in the guacamole! Ah thanks, I received about a teaspoon of guacamole and she wasn’t paying attention because she was telling her fly story to the other worker. Apparently the back door is left open allowing flies in. Is there a manager that works here? Never seen one. I would skip this one if I were you.

The lot here is very small & parking is a challenge, but the food & customer service at this location is great! Everything was very fresh & the burritoistas were super friendly & listen very carefully to what you want. There’s a good amount of seating here, but beware of crossing the parking lot because the Starbucks drive-thru is always busy!

My go-to lunch place. Food is always good, whether 3 tacos or the burrito bowl, most of the time I order chicken but the steak is really good. Good condiments and the salsa is always fresh. I see alot of people order the burritos but they are so filling that I want to take a nap on my keyboard after lunch. I like the green jalapeño Tabasco sauce. It is interesting to see the policemen and woman come in for lunch, especially the women carrying their Glock 9 mm on their side holsters.

After eating at this Chipotle many times I am always amazed at how they find a way to ruin the experience. More often than not, the quality or portion of food just is not right. The service is ridiculously slow and borderline hating what they do. Tonight’s experience has required the I update my review. In the $ 40 of food that we purchased tonight we had issues with burned/charcoal vegetables and guac that ended up sliding off the food on to the table. Not too long ago I had a burrito bowl that had a ½ of water in the bottom. While the Chipotle menu is the same everywhere, the quality of the preparation of the items cooked locally changes greatly. What did I learn today? I am driving to Pleasant Hill for Chipotle next time.

So glad Martinez has a Chipotle! Super convenient location but a bit crowded due to a small parking lot to be shared with Starbucks, Verizon Wireless and The Dollar Store. Off peak and on the service is good and the food is always fresh. Believe it or not the margaritas are good and they offer Patron if you want to turn it up a notch. Chicken salad, no rice, no cheese, no sour cream, w/black beans, fajitas, medium and mild salsa. Delicious and only 345 calories #EatClean
