Pizza Hut

I went here at lunch and will cost you around 7.50 for the buffet with a drink.
The salad bar is nothing spectacular but everything that was on the bar was «fresh» (nothing old looking) and it was well stocked with everything being full. I was surprised to find that the pizza buffet was actually full of pizza you want to eat. I mean there wasn’t any odd combos, Supremes, cheese, pepperoni etc, available on all different crusts. They also refreshed the pizzas before the bar was out. For the price, its definitely worth a stop

Decided to stop by for their «Wing Wednesday» promotion. I have tried nearly every wing place in Columbia county. The restaurant was very clean, as pointed out by my wife. Being a former chef I appreciated that there was actually steam coming from the
steam tables… what this means is that the food is being held at the correct temperatures as required by Serve Safe.
The salad bar was not all messy, very nice and everything looked fresh. My wife had the salad bar and thought it was very good.
Now for the wings… delicious!!! So far I have to say that these wings were the best I have had out of all the other nine places I have been for wings. Meaty, juicy, great sauce, bone in… the only way to go.
We did not have the pizza as the food we ate was plenty. However, John the manager pointed out that if we did not see something we like on the buffet when we come again, he will simply make it for us. Who does that!!! Excellent customer service by Ed, our server. As mentioned in another review we never had to ask for a refill of water or tea… fresh glasses brought each time.
We will be back!

I don’t know why I have not reviewed this restaurant in the past. I had lunch at this location several times. This location is clean and well managed. The manager is a gentleman name John, I know this because he checks on your dinning experience personally when time permits. I usually eat at this location during the lunch buffet hours when I want pizza. This is the only location that has the original creamy Italian salad dressing made exclusively for Pizza Hut on the salad bar a definite plus for me because I love the stuff. The pizza is always hot and if they don’t have your favorite pizza on the bar just let them know and they will be happy to accommodate your taste. The wait staff is polite and curious. My waitress on this visit was Cheryl. I never had to look for her or ask for anything she kept the tea coming and the table cleared. My lunch cost was only $ 8.62 including my tea. This Pizza Hut is located at the intersection of Washington road and Davis road just down from interstate 520 If your in Augusta around lunch time give them a try.
