Overrated-Ate here a couple of times got pizza pies both times, the pizza wasn’t very tasty. I only went back a second time to give them another chance. Moving forward I will only get pizza from Romas. On a positive note the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy.

I definitely get the authentic mom-n-pop Italian feel here. It’s a decent sized restaurant with basic restaurant table/chairs. The décor is all very Italian– wall décor and the random things made/packaged: from Italy. We went on a Saturday afternoon(Jan 2) and I would say it was mostly filled up for lunch. A mix of families and adults. I actually wanted to check this place out because I tried a slice(just one slice.) of the eggplant. I’ve been had, or even thought of putting eggplant on pizza! Funny thing though, we didn’t end up getting it, we got the gyro meat pizza instead. I’ve had gyro pizza before. I did enjoy it. Not a fan of olives, so we left that out. And the feta brought along just enough of the saltiness. The pizza we ordered was enough for my hubby and k, plus leftovers for at least one of us. Definitely not a ‘cheap eats’ place, but it’s decent for once in a while. I could see myself coming back when I’m craving an Italian/different pizza. They also have your traditional Italian dishes, so I’d See myself coming back for that as well.

The Chicken Nikki is awesome! Be sure to get the«Nikki sauce» option. Decent wine and beer options. The house dressing for the salad is very good. Noce place. Worth the wait.

Delicious! Nice sized portions, cozy feel, &amazing tiramisu! Try the breaded fried ravioli. I’m from St. Louis & this is totally STL style with ricotta inside instead of meat. Still really good!

Giuseppe’s Pizza is an old fashioned Italian eatery with food in the $ 12 – 20 range. From pasta to pizza to antipasti they offer everything you’d expect to be at an Italian restaurant with the addition of their specialty house sauce. — Slow service — Great for families and couples — Food was OK After hearing all of the hype about the house Nicky sauce, I thought«why not?» It’s basically a vodka sauce, that’s dumped over food by the ladle. I ordered the Chicken Nicky($ 13.45) which is tender chicken breast sautéed and topped with fresh basil, sun-dried tomato Alfredo sauce served with penne pasta. The amount of sauce of the chicken was pretty overwhelming, so much to the point that it was the main focus of the entire dish. My wife ordered the Penne Chicken Broccoli Alfredo($ 13.85) which is grilled chicken and broccoli topped with Alfredo sauce, served with with penne pasta. The chicken was pretty tender and moist, which the dish was completely dependent on. It was just okay, with no real flavor. We both figured that if they were willing to put the reputation of Sicily on a slice of pizza, why not try it? The Sicilian square pizza($ 1.95) is 65¢ per topping, but doesn’t taste like the pizza from Sicily at all. It was really just a standard pizza, that was a bit on the greasy side. I don’t think this visit was enough to have me crawling back for more, but it wasn’t a terrible visit either.

Great Food! The Chicken Nikki is awesome! We sometimes order pizza here… always great! The Meatball pizza rocks! Also great for meeting friends and having a great meal together. Go, you won’t be disappointed. Busy on weekend nights so be aware. Top notch service though.

I was in Augusta for work and wanted to find a place later in the evening for a slice of pizza and a good salad. This is the place to go. I had a slice of meatball pizza and a side salad with house dressing. I was probably in and out in about 30 minutes and the wait staff was great. The only reason they’re not getting five stars is because their beer selection was small and they were out of Yuengling!

The BEST pizza in town hands down! The closest you will find to N.Y. style pizza in this area.

I think this restaurant is pretty good. I had the Brooklyn Bridge assortment plate which had chicken parmesan, fettuccini alfredo, and lasagna. It was a little salty for my taste, but still it was plenty of food to satisfy anyone. The salad was actually my favorite part of the meal. The server was quick and friendly. They also have carryout where they bring it to your car.

I now completely understand all the hype about the Chicken Nicky. I could not get enough of it. I will say for next time, I will request no marinara and substitute more(!) Nicky sauce. The chicken was perfect. Will be ordering that same thing again!

The thick pizza was great. They also have a very reasonably priced lunch buffet that contains several pasta/entrée choices and a variety of thin pizzas to choose from. Staff is always friendly.

Great Italian eatery. I will be a regular. The buffet looked amazing but I came to try the Chicken Nicky and I wasn’t disappointed. Anxious to try stuffed pasta in the future.

If you come here, you are in for a treat! If I could give this place 10 stars on Unilocal,I would. It’s just that good. I was thinking about weather or not it would be considered rude to lick the plate the last time I stopped in here because the food is just that darn good! But seeing as how I didn’t want to get kicked out of the restaurant and banned for life, I re-framed and found a way to contain myself at the end of my meal. This is an amazing restaurant with an amazing family that runs it! If you do come in there and you happen to see the family, you should say a quick hello and talk to them a little. So every time I come to GA, I make it a point to come in and get a pizza. The pizza here is so good that it makes up for a little bit of a wait. It’s always fresh and they have a great selection. Its always hot and super fresh, so be careful biting into it. Hot pizza can burn the mouth. These people have the art of pizza making down. You always know that you will get 5 star service if you are coming here because the servers here know what the are doing. The place also has the coolest and most unique décor that I have ever encountered in my life. You can tell that the family has really put a lot of love into everything that they did with the place. It’s hard to find good pizza or Italian food anywhere these days. Everyone always wants to cut corners to make a profit. But these people truly do understand that the way to make your profit is by making food that people love in an atmosphere that people enjoy eating at. I plan on coming back the next time that I am in the area. Thanks again guys!

I really enjoyed my pizza at Giuseppe’s. It was very good. I’m thinking Roma’s is still my #1 in Augusta. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table during the dinner hour on a Friday. Not too bad! However, the waiting space is pretty tight. Kind of like the rest of the restaurant… The tables were pretty on top of one another. I’m fairly small and my chair kept knocking into the one at the table behind me. I was also having a hard time not paying attention to what was going on at the tables around me. The service was good, and the food came out fairly quickly. I had the 14″ pizza with pepperoni and sausage. Not too spicy, and not too overloaded with toppings. I like a nice«balanced» pizza. The crust was nice, a bit of crunch on the end. This seems like a great place for a family dinner.

This is, by far, the BESTPIZZAYOUWILLGETINAUGUSTA!!! Hands down. I wish they were open on Sundays though. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Great selection. I have to get my orders to go because there’s always a line of people waiting for a table. It’s that good!

Food here is very good! A must try. Had a Calzone $ 6 and Garlic bread $ 5 as an app– we shared it and were almost full after the calzone, very cheesy and I suggest getting a topping inside(extra$) Brooklyn Bridge is a combo with caesar salad(included $ 15) –Fettucini Alfredo: 4.5÷5 creamy, very good my gf loved it –Lasagna: very good, 4⁄5 — Chicken Parm: good 3.5÷5 Chicken Saltimbocca:$ 15 — stuffed with cheese and prosciutto: i was really hoping and expecting more especially with prosciutto but it was quite bland. 3⁄5 Sicilian(thick slice of pizza) and thin slice: $ 5 were great! 3rd time here and worth it. Pizza i think is the golden goodness here. We had 3 boxes to take out… Tasted great today

This place really deserves so much more than 5 stars. The hubby and I sort of stumbled upon this place since it’s not far from Ft. Gordon and Italian food is my #1 favorite food in the world. Garfield has nothing on me when it comes to eating pans and pans of mostaccioli and lasagna and after nearly a year of eating subpar«Chicago style pizza» and«homemade recipes» I’d developed a jaded, arms crossed sort of mentality when it came to Italian cuisine. Oh my gosh did my stomach do a happy dance like the hippos from Fantastia! From the inviting smell of the restaurant to the open kitchen to the plates of hot piping pasta passing us by, this place screams«authentic». We were greeted by such a friendly server who was training a new staff member and got the greatest service ever. Her recommendations were spot on, our courses were timed just right and we never once had to look around(except to see what everyone else was eating.) We’d been burned by restaurants with exceptionally good ratings in the past, so we went safe and stuck with staff recommendations. The hubby got the spaghetti with meatballs, baked mozzarella and mushrooms. When they say baked mozzarella, they MEAN piping hot and gooey mozzarella! I’m personally one of those old ladies in disguise who wants everything so hot it burns your tongue and seeing all that steam made me so darn excited. I ordered the Chicken Nicky with pink sauce over the pasta and if it hadn’t been for the amazing house made bread and fresh side salad, I would have put a good dent in the pasta. I hadn’t had a chicken cutlet as juicy and perfectly seasoned like this in years and I just about nearly cried on the inside as I devoured the creamy sun-dried tomato sauce, mushrooms and tender sun-dried tomatoes. It may have been the starvation mode my body was going through, it may have been fond memories of eating amazing Italian food in hole in the wall restaurants back home but the first bites instilled a glorious memory of days gone by. I am so impressed with the spectrum of items on the menu and I just can’t wait to check each item off individually over the next couple years. I’ve found my one and only Italian restaurant in town and they totally had me at «homemade garlic bread.» 44⁄2014
