nice independent owned shop, staff is very helpful and friendly, prices are fair and reasonable, went there for a tie dye top for granddaughter’s school play, staff helped me find exactly what I needed, also bought wife a rose crystal, selection was good, shop felt like stepping back in time to the 70’s, great experience and will definitely shop there again, my thanks to the staff

Love this boutique! I can always find something to purchase whether I need it or not. There is a great selection of cardigans, blouses, and other women’s clothing. I have purchased many items that are great for work or play. There is also a great selection of bling! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Love this little store, can really find some good little stuff I here! The only complaint I have is there is SOMUCHSTUFF, it’s over welming at times. Wish it focused more on crystals and unique gifts more than a bunch of random clothes and«stuff»

This is a fun, funky little shop. I live right directly behind it so it’s super convenient to walk to. Things may be pricey, but people seem to forget that this is a boutique, not a thrift store. They have one-of-a-kind merchandise and even locally made products such as soaps and oils. Although they would probably appeal more to the New Age crowd with their gypsy clothes and incense, I happened to find just normal, cute nicknacks such as a miniature doll with yellow roses on it, perfect for my mother. I also recently bought what looked like a big, hostess chocolate cake but it was just a cute little craft thing made out of a wash cloth. I personally like the ladies who run this store. They have always been very pleasant to me. I also especially like their dog, who sometimes sleeps on the counter. He’s cute. If you’re into belly dancing, witchcraft, faeries, or cool little nicknacks, you’ll like this place.

You can get your Goth on, your Hippie on, your Hip Old Lady on in sizes XS-3X, & buy incense & jewerly too.(There are men’s clothes, too, with similar bents.) This place is pretty awesome. Be prepared to comb through a lot of clothes, though. I did so and found a really cute wrap dresss on a 40% off rack. It ended up being $ 13. That’s right: $ 13. I like this place.

Interesting mix of stuff, mostly for free spirited women but when I needed something funky for my bohemian daughter’s birthday found plenty to choose from, reasonably priced. Interesting selection of very artistc and creative greeting cards, kind of cards women wish we would buy instead of shopping the drugstore Hallmark collection

I went to the shop to purchase some things for an organization I belong to. The shop seemed pretty cool, but they are way over priced for the cheapy stuff they have. I was in a pinch and had to have some certain items that night. I could have paid HALF the price anywhere else. Then while I was buying the items, the cashier kept getting the order messed up. She kept putting in the wrong quantities, then gave me the wrong items. I was completely exhausted from work, and had to rush to the airport. I paid my bill, grabbed my items and boogied. When I went to turn in my receipt later that night, I noticed the cashier(self admitted dyslexic) charged me twice for 5 items. I went to fix the error today and the cashier would not give me my money. Which ISILLEGAL!!! I was overcharged for items I never received. I was not making a return or exchange. They insisted I had to have store credit instead. There’s nothing in this over-priced store that I wanted. I was already ripped off once! Do not go to this store. The owner claims to be in the business to sell mystical, spiritual and calming items, but has no ethical obligation to the customers. I will never go to this store again, on principle alone. I agree with Jennifer E’s posting. my experience makes me believe that the ONLY other Unilocal review must be a fake, posted by a friend of the owner.

The store owner is rude. I came into her store with my 6 month old in a small umbrella stroller because most of the shops in downtown Martinez are small and can’t accommodate a larger stroller very well. As soon as I walked in she said«you can park the stroller in front». I looked at her somewhat puzzled and said«you mean it can’t go in the store?» Then she says«No. Didn’t you see my sign? The sign is right there, you didn’t see it?» Uh, obviously not or I wouldn’t have come into your store in the first place. Needless to say, I didn’t park the stroller with my baby in it at the front, I just left. I still never saw the sign she was referring to upon exiting. Not a good way to treat potential customers — no wonder she’s advertising with a 15% off coupon. Besides, the store is listed as being«handicapped accessible» on here — a wheelchair is a heck of a lot bigger than an umbrella stroller and would not be denied access to the store because that’s discrimination. After reading the other reviews here I can see I’m not missing anything but a bunch of junk!

You would think this place was Mecca from the reviews here, but alas, not even close. Lots of overpriced, touristy stuff, too broad to be really interesting. Sort of a newage Walmart of gift shops. Edit: interesting: right after posting this, I got a weird, snotty message from the owner. Now that I’m looking, it seems like an awful lot of Unilocalers signed up just to leave reviews of this one obscure gift shop? Something smells fishy…(Oh look, another mysterious Martinez resident signed up to Unilocal just to give the store five stars!) Edit 2: C-R-A-Z-Y! Edit 3: Now she’s socking and accusing me of using meth?! Well, that would sure go over with the PTA(not). If I’d had any idea the reaction would be so ridiculous, I would have stayed out altogether; this lady seems to have left her sanity in the sixties…

Omg! I love love love downtown Martinez, and this shop is spectacular. Not only do they have an amazing selection of yoga clothing and bellydance costumes, they also have candles, incense, gems and almost anything else you might find at an occult type of shop. Best part is they were playing country music. To me, it doesn’t get better than this!

…If you ever are in need of finding that gift for the person who has everything, this is the store to save the day. …When you’re having one of those days where you could use an uplifting experience to get you back on track, this is the place to go. .It is the shopping experience that can change the«anti shopper» into a «shop-oholic.» Dedication to the Martinez Community plays a large role behind the boutique. Supporting customers as well as many local artists trying to get there«recognition». Anne Mobley, owner and solo business woman is quite a lady to meet. She runs the all aspects of the business, 6 Days a week with Mondays as her only day away from her store. Her presentation perfectly represents the Diva she is known for… vibrant„ caring, social, passionate and true. I admire her greatly! Don’t be fooled by the single door entry to this one of a kind enchanting boutique… you’ll be amazed at how many other doors lie behind it for you to open.

This is the best place to shop in Martinez! If you need a unique gift, go to this store. The store owner is very sweet and will help you in any way she can. I love this store!
