Great pizza if you dig the crispy thin crust unmelted cheese variety of pizza, which I very much do. Quick service, cheap prices.

This is one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. I found myself at the hospital in Martin’s Ferry waiting for a friend. We were both hungry and felt like pizza. This was the nearest restaurant sans McDonalds. About a 5 block walk from the hospital. The pizzas are made in large rectangular trays. A full tray is around 30 ‘squares’. I ordered a ‘half-tray’. $ 15.00. for the two of us. Apparently they make the pizza and add the toppings at the end. So the pizza comes out of the oven mildly warm, the pepperoni was hardly cooked and then they sprinkle chopped cheese on top. The cheese fails to completely melt due to the pizza not being very hot. This is the way they make their pizza. I saw several others come out this way.

If there is ONE thing I miss from the entire Ohio Valley, it is Zontini’s Pizza. So many lunch breaks and late night drunk adventures were spent waiting in the impossible lines of this absurdly small building for a square piece of pizza with unmelted(intentionally) cheese on top. No crazy topping selections here — just perfected pepperoni and cheese pizza slices. Seriously, if you’re ever passing through this area(I-70 between the I-470 branch offs) — stop in for a slice.
