Dinner was delicious. We started with zuppa de clams. Then I had Italian wedding soup and my hubby had chicken parmasean and we shared a canoli for dessert. From start to finish dinner was scruptous. Bread was warm and fresh out of the oven. Everything was great. Can’t wait to go back. Only comment was oils for bread might be marinated longer to be more flavorful.

Food was average and service slow. The pasta carbonara did not deliver a creamy sauce as expected. The house salad was 3 flattened romaine leaves with 3 tomato slices drowned in balsamic vinegar. Disappointing experience.

What happen Sopranos? We have ate here many times and the food was excellent… last night went with friends and every meal was awful, including the appetizers!

One star is generous. The service is okay… Who serves Chicken Marsala with linguini with red sauce? The Salmon is your best bet if you like it well done. There’s not a seat in the place that’s comfortable temperature wise and no seat is quiet if you are looking for a romantic dinner. No thank you, not what expected.

Second visit and we now plan to make Sopranos Ristorante an annual stop on our week down the Cape! The staff at Sopranos was super friendly from the hostess who informed us of the evening special to the waitress who was attentive and always smiling! We orders the chicken parm and fusilli and both were delicious! We went on a Thursday night and again they had an Acapella group who serenaded us with a beautiful song! They sounded great it made for such a fun night and memory! We love the atmosphere there!

We went there for my B-day dinner and it was the first time we’ve been. It was a very nice atmosphere, we weren’t expecting it to be so fancy. We felt underdressed. BUT aside from feeling a little underdressed,(which was our fault). everything else was amazing. The service was impeccable. They have fresh bread which was delish. We ordered a bottle of wine, and because they didn’t have any left of the one we wanted, they gave us a similar one which was more expensive for the price of the less expensive one.(very nice of them). Also, the ran out of the steak my husband ordered, so they offered him a better cut for same price we he accepted gladly. The lighting was dim and very romantic which I liked a lot for my b-day dinner. We had such a lovely meal. I got chicken with fingerling potatoes and this red wine bordelaise something sauce– oh my goodness — it was to die for! I ate up every last bit of it. The server was super nice and friendly. I would definitely come here again.

We went Wednesday night. Made a reservation for six. Only two other tables in the resterant. The worst service I’ve ever seen. Now everyone has a bad day, but this server keep disappearing into the kitchen. It took twenty minutes for drinks, half hour for apps. And she never took a plate back. We left without ordering dinner. Awful… Never again… I was embassesed for the hostess.

we had dinner on a slow Monday night in October. complimentary bread was good, olives and roasted peppers looked a little old. kitchen nicely agreed to do grilled salmon over a Cesear salad. the lettuce was green and fresh but the fish was too fishy and dried out. chicken cacciatore was another entrée. It was tasty but seemed precooked and low on the chicken and veggies and heavy on the pasta. all the time we heard dishes being rinsed, pots being washed and silverware being chucked.

Mashpee resident for four years plus. First time dining at Soprano’s. Can’t believe this hidden gem has been here all along! Wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was authentic and delicately prepared with fresh flavors. FAR exceeds another Italian restaurant down the street. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband & I went tonight for the first time and definitely will be back. Excellent service and the food was great. I had the gnocchi with bolognese and loved it. I would have loved to have gotten the tiramisu that folks have raved about on here, but was too full. Next time…

Spent a cold /snowy evening at the eatery with friends who recommended it. We were delightfully surprised by the atmosphere; a bit too dark — lights turned down way too much. Ask to be seated NOT next to the windows because of the glaring street lamps. Mind you, these peeves are minor because the wait staff is professional, polite and very knowledgeable. The appetizers were made to order and fantastic. The cocktails are top-draw; not water-downed and ample. The main courses were awesome: the tomatoe sauce is to die for — don’t believe me; sink your teeth into their fruity-de mare(i know it’s spelled incorrectly) — your senses will come alive! Afterwards, desert is a must — especially the Tiramisu. The value is a bit pricey but you get your money worth. I enjoyed it and you will as well.

Well above average food quality, and the service was consistent with what you’d expect from a moderate-to-high priced menu. Here’s the only negative… it was a little cold and drafty every time the door opened. However, overall, it was a nice find and highly recommended.

As Mashpee locals, my family and I try and give each place we try more than one chance to make us come back. Everyone has a bad day. This tactic did not work with Sopranos. My wife, daughter and extended family tried Sopranos when prior to their move across the parking lot. We were completely let down by the service, the food quality and the prices. Last week, my wife and I decided to give the establishment another go, as we had a couple of hours to ourselves and a drink and some good Italian food was on our collective mind. Although it was Tuesday, I was surprised to walk into an almost empty restaurant. The hostess completely ignored us until we asked if we could sit at the bar. She said to «go ahead». We walked to the bar, got comfortable and started to wait. We made eye contact with a server behind the bar partition and said hello, she responded and then proceeded to ignore us. We waited at the bar with not a single person providing any service for almost 10 minutes. The entire time we waited, the servers were busy discussing car payments and living arrangements. Ultimately, we got up and left. On the way out, the hostess did not even give us the courtesy of a goodbye. Big disappointment and not the way to treat any customer, specifically a local party on the off season.

We always love Soprano’s for pasta and traditional italian-american food. My wife hails from New Jersey, and for her, this place is like a trip down the Turnpike. It’s not gourmet, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s generous portions of authentic Italian-American, well executed.

The wait was unbearable and the hostess was rude. The food was good, but not great. The kids meals were $ 12.95 for a small bowl of pasta with butter. Overall, it was just ok.

Wonderful service even on a busy summer night. I arrived before the rest of my party and was asked if the table they had for us was OK. Nice touch. Huge portions and generous wine pours help this place be a top 10 for casual dining. Only complaint I have is the dining room can be a bit dark.

We noticed some poor reviews recently and felt the need to respond. In fact this is the first review I have ever added to Unilocal. Terrific food! My wife will only eat Chicken Parmesan here. We like to order it «crispy with extra sauce.» The homemade fusilli is amazing, not too soft, nice and chewy. The bread they serve, although commercial, is warm, soft, chewy, and full of flavor. The drinks are just right in amount and perfectly made. We have taken large groups to Sopranos often with great success. The attentive staff is always ready to modify our orders to our varying needs. Yes, the service can be slow at times, especially when it is busy, which is often.(Best to make a reservation.) But isn’t dining out supposed to be a slow enjoyable experience? For us, Soprano’s is our favorite dining experience in this area. When we go south for the winter we miss our Soprano eating experience. When we return in May it is our first stop for a truly enjoyable dining experience!

LOVE. LOVE. LOVESOPRANOS! I have been a regular patron for many years and this is hands down one of my top picks for dining in Mashpee! They changed location and I love the bigger space. I always get the same thing here becuase it it the BEST! Hands down the BEST Calamari I have ever had in the US! The Filet Gorgonzola which is now Filetto di Manzo(Minus the crostini) is pretty amazing! All of my friends love this place and they recently started having an acapelo music group on Thursday nights which was fun and entertaining!

My wife and I have been coming to Cape Cod since we were just dating in 1998. We have seen restaurants become very popular only to use their popularity as a substitute for quality food. Soprano’s is 1 such restaurant. What was once an outstanding restaurant, with polite employees has become mediocre at best. Recently we went as a family party of 5 for what would turn out to be our last meal at this establishment. We had a tall blond women wait on us but it was us who did most of the waiting. She was rude to my mother-in-law when she asked her what the soup of the day was. She simply shot back, «It’s on the menu.» Even if it was, which by the way it wasn’t, she should have known immediately. She grabbed the menu from my father-in-law to find it and was embarrassed when she couldn’t find it and then told us that«there is no soup of the day.» The appetizers were served lukewarm. The portion sizes have dropped but the prices remain the same. And when the entrees arrived, she asked us to pick up our appetizer plates and hold them until she was done putting the entrees down. She checked on our meals 0 times and on our drinks only once at the end of the meal. As for the food itself, no matter what you order I hope you like balsamic vinegar. We ordered 2 risotto dish, 1 fish dish, and 1 chicken Parm and all 4 of us complained about the taste. We might as well have been speaking to a brick wall. Restaurants at Cape Cod are like roller coasters and Soprano’s is a forgettable restaurant on the way down.

We love going to Sopranos. The staff is professional, the food is by far the best Italian I’ve ever had, is small and cozy. Prefect for a relaxing night. Not to mention the martinis are incrediable. PS. The Wine Dinners are something you wont want to miss either.
