I had a three meat platter ribs sausage and brisket coleslaw and mac & cheese and a sprite the food was not good kind of skimpy on the rib for $ 162 rib bones 4 sliver of sausage and 4 pieces of brisket for the amount of food I got it was over price first time ever going there and my last time going there

Stopped for lunch. I got The Westerner which is a hoagie bun with two meats, onion, pickle and cheese. I got the pulled pork and polish sausage. I put the sweet bbq sauce and little of the spicy on it. The pork was nice and juicy. Overall it was good. The mac & cheese is just Stouffer’s, I know that taste very well. The green beans were surprisingly spicy. Not overly so, but they had a zing to them and tasted good. I also tried their blonde. It was decent, studded with chocolate chips and pecans. So if it was overall good, why the two star rating? No cornbread. A bbq joint without cornbread(or even worse: bad cornbread… I’m looking at you City Barbecue) isn’t worth it. The meat was good enough to save it from a 1-star rating, but with no cornbread I say: skip it.

Great sauces and fantastic brisket. Chose Dickey’s over Five Guys in Mason to try something new and we’re not disappointed.

Waited in line 10 minutes. Only for the guy to tell another person who walked in after me that they were out of chicken & turkey. Well that all that I wanted … That’s bad service ! Not going back … I’ll just drive to city barbecue !!

Ok it’s smells good from the parking lot. The menu has chicken, brisket, sausages, turkey and pork ribs. Sold by the pound, in dinners, sandwiches etc. They are a chain. I usually get it in the airport. Sweet tea is great. Sides include a potato casserole, baked beans, green beans and slaw. onion straws and fried okra are on the menu too. The brisket was tender flavorful and not dry. Chicken was really tasty and our ribs fell off the bone. Decent for a chain. Really pricey. Choose wisely and look for the deal of the day.

Ok coming from a town like Cleveland where there’s a rib joint on every corner TAKEMYADVICE! Don’t wast your money! $ 25 later ugh! Brisket is dry and would not pass the Pitt Master fold test. The ribs are filled with liquid smoke and the membrane is not removed. Everybody knows you gotta take the membrane off to get the flavor in! Who has a BBQ menu with no cornbread! Instead you get a puck-like piece of bread. That was dry too. Staff is very friendly which earned them the second one I gave them. Chime in with any good BBQ spots a girl like me grew up eating Whitmore’s, Hot Sauce Williams and B&M’s in Brownstown! Help!!!

I hope it was just new restaurant growing pains but it was cold and just adequate. I may give it another chance.

Cheddar Sausage: just okay Brisket: cut all wrong(some pulled, some in big chunks), lacking flavor, dry, none of the good edge pieces. Was this even smoked? Their pictures show a correct cut, but… Green beans: pretty good Roll: okay Spicy BBQ sauce: pretty good, but absolutely necessary to even make you think you’re eating BBQ. Final: I’ll give it a 2nd chance because I heard the chicken is really good, but I won’t be expecting real TXBBQ.

Took the whole family there. Food was awesome. Friendly staff. Had the 3 meat plate with onion tanglers and cole slaw. My daughter loved the complimentary ice cream cones.

Not a bad option for BBQ if you are in the area. The service was efficient and meats were all good. I went with the 3 meat plate — chicken, pulled pork, and spicy cheddar sausage. The chicken was king here… very juicy and a great smoke flavor. Pulled pork was good but about what you would expect at any decent BBQ joint. The sausage was good but had already cooled off between the time they put it on the tray and I sat down to eat. It was not overly spicy either. I’m not big on sides, but they came with the plate. I went with the green beans which were bland, and onion rings/straws which would have been good if they hadn’t been so heavily salted. They were inedible, which was disappointing. Portions on the 3 meat plate were adequate. I tried the original sauce and the sweet sauce and I couldn’t tell much difference between the two. They were good though. I’ll be back at some point. Solid BBQ option in the Mason area.

We tried Dickey’s BBQ on Mason-Montgomery for the first time last night and we were disappointed. Serving size was small and the guy behind the counter must have measured to the 1⁄10th of an ounce as he added and removed small bits of meat on the scale. We had brisket and pulled pork, which were both average at best. Meat was chopped to bits and flavor was lacking. I had bbq baked beans(ok) and loaded potatoes(dry and pasty) and my wife had green beans(bland) and mac and cheese(think boxed). We did not finish any of them. We tried all three sauces and they too were nothing to write home about. If you have never had good bbq, Dickey’s would suffice because there is nothing else in the neighborhood. If you know your bbq, you will be disappointed.

Good BBQ. Sweet tea could be sweeter ! Mac and cheese is awesome ! The past couple times we went the ice cream would run out and the sauces were out.

Dickeys in Ohio doesn’t hold a candle to Dickeys in TX. Beef brisket was dry and rather chewy. Prices seem high for the amount and quality of food received. However, thumbs up for the big yellow reusable cups and free soft serve.

If you want bbq… go to Eli’s…or anywhere else. The beef brisket was chopped up into little bits that were hard as a rock. Mac and cheese tastes like fake cheese. Only redeeming quality… FREE Ice Cream and big yellow to go cups for drinks.

Great new BBQ addition! Was a little skeptical since it’s a chain, but was very impressed! Got their deal of the day(which is a REALLY good deal) «The Westerner» sandwich with pulled pork and smoked sausage. Comes with two sides and a large drink for $ 8.99! The sandwich alone is normally that! Got baked potato casserole and Mac & cheese as my sides. Both were very yummy. Their BBQ sauce is decent. Meat was AWESOME, tender and juicy. Sweet tea OK. Bonus: Free soft serve vanilla ice cream cones!!! Friendly staff, decent service for opening week.

Food tastes great. The service was done with a smile. A lot of people on day 1 and they did a terrific job. I ordered 3 servings of two meats for carry out all exceeded our expectations. They teased us with signs for weeks and we were thrilled it finally opened. Thank for making are anticipation worth it. All was great
