I can not say enough great things about my experience at Magic Needle!!! I came to them with a complicated alteration on a bridesmaid dress and they were able to work a miracle on it! Not only did they do a great job– they were fast AND affordable! I took it in on a Sat and on Tue they called me to come try it on to see how it looked. Only 2 business days!!! Those crazy bridal stores request months of time needed for alterations! When I came to try it on it wasn’t quite right and they wanted it perfect so they pinned again and told me it would be ready in 2 days. They called the very next day to let me know they made the improvements and I can pick it up! I’m just so amazed at how fast, efficient, meticulous, and caring they are. And with multiple alterations they only charged me $ 50! This is unheard of. One of the other bridesmaids for this wedding was quoted $ 95JUST to hem the bottom of hers at another alterations place! So long story short, don’t hesitate to use Magic Needle-they’re amazing! And in regards to people saying they are rude? They were nothing but kind and sweet. The lady even hugged me when she saw how happy I was with the fit!

I’ve been going here for about 2 years. They have always done a great job. Place is clean, they attend to you right away. Always one week turnaround! Originally I went there because they were closer to work, but now I don’t work in the area but I still go there because they do such a good job. As for some people mentioning rudeness, I would not say they are rude, more like cultural differences in how people interact.

We’ve been here a few times to have clothing and kids’ sports uniforms altered. They do a pretty good job with alterations, however, they really need to work on their customer service skills. They’re like«The Soup Nazi» on Seinfeld — if you can put up with their rude behavior, you’ll probably be happy with the alterations.

The service is prompt and the turn around seems to be quick. I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. In fact, in one instance when a hem in an alteration she did around a year ago came lose/undone, she offered to fix it free of charge, no questions asked. I even offered to pay, it’s been over a year since she hemmed it, and she would not hear of it. She stands behind it. Note: If your alteration is less than $ 15 you’ll need to pay in cash.

Only been here once so far, but the search is over. For girls like me who fit awkwardly in anything in the store, a seamstress is like a fairy godmother. The seams of one of my work skirts was unraveling with the inner fabric popping out, and they took care of it right away. I paid about $ 5 plus tax. There’s a minimum for card payment, so bring cash or check if you only have one or two items.
