Always satisfied! I’ve been ordering my bf’s custom cakes here for the past three years and he has loved every one of them. Plus the cakes are delicious. I always order vanilla cake with fresh strawberries, vanilla custard filling and buttercream frosting. Every year the cake comes out great. The prices are reasonable. I can’t complain. Thanks!

Their authentic tiramisu is so good. Sheet style cut into rectangles, not the creative imitations served in a sundae glass, please. Don’t forget to pickup a cannolu, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

My boyfriend got me a pastry filled with custard from Scala.
It was a pâte à choux huge puff filled with custard with a cherry on top. I liked it.
When I get a chance I’ll go try other items.

The person who commented above me either has the wrong Scala or is crazy. Scala can be pricey but their stuff is the best around. You dont find cakes and pastries made the way they make them. Everything is made there (except the sugar free cookies) and it’s just amazing!!!
They also make their own italian ices in the summer.
it’s strictly a pastry shop, so please dont expect a variety of bread. they just have italian and semolina, rarely rye, whole wheat and challah. their procciutto bread is also delicious.
i’ve never seen a rude girl work there. they are young and friendly. always providing great service.

The service is always friendly but the baked goods are disappointing, I’ve never had a good cookie from here. I also had what was possibly the worst sugar cookie I’ve ever eaten, and there’s just no excuse for that. I mean, its a freakin sugar cookie. They somehow managed to make the dough mushy and the frosting tasted like it came from a can. Very sad.
