Bridgewater Inn

I stayed at the Bridgestone Inn for 14 days. My son came down and fished with me for 4 days. Sounds like a long time, however, this was a dream vacation. I read, fished, ate local foods, hiked, shopped and met some wonderful guests. Bob and Diane went way out of their way to make our stay so wonderful The views are great and so is the fishing. I had a lot of laughs and a whole lot of fun. I would go back in a heart beat. Bob and Diane really make you feel like family.

The Bridgewater Inn was the perfect spot for a weekend trip! First of all, the location of the Inn is perfect. The fact that it literally sits on the water is awesome, each of the rooms has a water view, and the two back suites have private dock space. We stayed in Suite 3, giving us some private dock space in the back and we loved it. The room was clean and had all of the amenities we needed.
Second, the management staff is lovely. They are probably the nicest staff I have ever encountered. I somehow managed to book our room for the wrong night and called them in a panic. Luckily a room was still available for the correct date, so they switched over my reservation free of charge. They told me that if all of the rooms had been booked up, they would have honored my reservation for another date. They were also very helpful with the surrounding area and gave us tips on places to go.
We went fishing at night and made use both of our private dock and the general dock at the Inn. We met the other guest and swapped stories while sharing bait and fishing poles.
Overall, the Bridgewater Inn is the perfect place to drop off of the radar for a while. You can fish just steps from your room, or walk down the street for some good food and live music. We’ll definitely be back.
