Calamari Rhode Island style.(Hot & spicy) boring as shit. Had to ask for crushed red pep to jazz it up Lobster roll $ 16.99 = pulverized lobster on a roll w orange tomatoes. Ugh, 1st thing thrown off that roll was the crap tomatoes. Fries were good. Jims New England clam chowder, Again boring & thin. Will never ever go back here.

Delicious no frills seafood. If you want to try something game changing, try the rhode island style calamari. Basically calamari as you know it with banana peppers. Changed my life.

Good service, the waitress was very friendly, prompt and open to questions. BF and I split out orders of fish tacos and shrimp tacos, both very good. The boy got the grilled chicken sandwich, too may grilled onions to his liking and not a fan of the balsamic reduction. All in all very decent for a quick inexpensive lunch.

I had placed 2 salmon take out orders which I had ordered medium rare. I did not check my order until I arrived to my destination, however both Salmons were well done and dry. I called and was told to come back in and dine and that the price of the two would be taken off the bill. I was pleased that the owner was courteous and apologetic. When we decided to go back to dine, my experience was just as dry. I don’t know if I am willing to try this restaurant a 3rd time.

A friend and I stopped into The Crazy Fork for dinner. We were seated right away. Our server was friendly and gave us time to make our choices. I chose the mahi mahi with spicy salsa. Choices of sides include three kinds of fries(two of which were homemade), garlic mashed potatoes, or jasmine rice. I chose the rice. The fish was very good, attractively presented. The rice was exceptionally good, very flavorful. My meal also came with cole slaw, which was perfect, just not much of it in a tiny little paper cup. My friend chose the lobster roll, which she was craving, but it wasn’t on their menu. They made it for her anyway, which I thought was a nice touch. It came with fries. The portions were so large, she couldn’t finish it all. The Crazy Fork also serves a large variety of local beers and wines. It’s a tiny place, but busy. Not bad price-wise, for Long Island.

What a nice place! We stopped by after picking up some wines from the local vineyards. The waitress was so nice and brought water out for our dog. The Pork Po’ Boy was incredible with bits of the bark from the smoked butt and fresh cole slaw on a perfectly toasted brioche bun. The Lobster Roll was super fresh and meaty with chucks of lobster. They both come with a heap of addicting French fries. Thank you ladies for a lovely lunch, we’ll be back!

I have ordered takeout two times, about a year apart, and the experience was bad both times. The staff is friendly, but the food is terrible. Fries are mushy, fish is overdone, breading falling off. Too many great seafood options to waste my $ here again.

We had dinner here on father’s day and it was not the greatest. The staff was friendly, but the food was not good. My kids ordered a grilled cheese and fish & chips. The grilled cheese was fine, the fish and chips was undercooked and soggy. My wife got a bowl of clam chowder, the bowl was the tiniest little thing and it tasted like it was out of a can. I got the lobster which came with grilled bok choy and a baked potato. It was fine but the bok choy wasn’t seasoned and was gross. The worst part was it took a good 30 – 40 minutes for our food to come out. We saw to-go orders rolling out the door but our food took way too long. The manager tried to brush it off. Checkout some of the other places in Mattituck and Cutchogue, but I’d skip the Crazy Fork.

Maureen the manager is very personable. The bartender M is a smiley face and pleasant service. I had the fish tacos. A plus. Lightly battered mango salsa. The mayo had a smokey chipotle flavor A no frills good food reasonably priced restaurant. My first visit here was the muscles. This is my second time here.

Fantastic, so nice to find a real seafood place with no presumption but a great beer list. Food, especially the very fresh raw oysters and clams were just incredible! I even loved the cole slaw, served in the perfunctory little plastic cups.

Nice little«hole in the wall» kind of place, not fancy, just nice food! Your basic pub fare, with also some great pub-type seafood. The lobster roll was also nice. A good selection of beers. The french fries were great, nice and crunchy. Prices are reasonable. Recommended!

If you are looking for a down-to-earth establishment where the staff are the main reason why you would return– this is the place to go! Madeline, our sweet server, greeted us enthusiastically when we arrived and recommended nearly everything on the menu as being«delicious.» Coming from a local who claims to only eat at one other place when she goes out, I believed her. We got the Rhode Island style calamari — which were delicious, fresh, and served with slices of banana pepper, which was new to me. It added a nice little briny crunch to it, I enjoyed it. My husband got the lobster mac-n-cheese, which was served in a bread bowl and loved it. I got a mixed greens salad with a cup of the lobster chowder. Not for nothing, but I would come back strictly because of how sweet the service was. The food was good, and the non-pretentious feel is what I look for and will not forget!

New England chowder, average Crab Cakes, good Lobster Roll, bland, average at best. Overall, average place. And that’s all I have to say about The Crazy Fork

Our party of 8 stopped by for dinner on a saturday night and Good Fork was able to sit us together. There was a good sized outdoor section but we opted to sit inside. We wanted to enjoy a fried seafood dinner before the beginning of fall really started. The seafood here was very good and everyone in our party enjoyed their food. Our table started with two fried calamari plates. The squid had great crunch. My fisherman’s platter had ample amounts of nicely fried flounder, shrimp and scallops. The fish was tasty, the shrimp were a good size and the scallops were juicy. I was lucky enough to sample a few of the whole belly clams and they were delicious. It’s tough to choose which was the better dish. You should just order both and enjoy the fried goodness. I also had a bite of the fish and chips and it good. I’m not sure what kind of fish they use but the fish was a nice golden brown whereas my flounder was more of an ale brown. Crazy Fork also has a nice beer selection. Half the offerings were craft beer with a couple from the Southampton Brewery. I suggest trying the Burton IPA, an English IPA. After a day of visiting a few wineries, some members of our group were more banged up than others but the staff here was really accommodating. I’m not talking sloppy beer and a shot drunk, more like a classy wine tasting drunk. Our servers were excellent and they put up with a spilled glass of water and a few dropped forks. Crazy fork is a chill seafood restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who happens to be in Mattituck.

Pretty disappoint with their lobster roll and flounder sandwich. Lobster was chopped too small and tasteless, the bun and fries are soggy. Flounder was super thin and dry and soggy. Fried oyster was okay New England clam chowder had too much flour so the sticky thick kind of soup. Soooo disappointed

Casual, no-fuss kind of place. *Amazing* seafood, excellent service, very easy going. We got a wide variety of dishes(steamers, mussels, clam chowder, lobster roll, scallops). Every dish was really, really good. My personal favorite was the thai-coconut mussels. Outstanding food!
