Maynard Village Pizza

Tried this pizza house yesterday and was very impressed. Great tasting and nice toppings. Tried the Great White, half ex cheese & pepperoni and a half cheese/​sausage. Delivered as promised by Eric, nice guy. Their website is awesome. Was able to track preparation and delivery. The tracking was better than Dominos. Will order again!!! Very happy!!! Oh also got 10% off for 1^st web order!

Live nearby so hoped would be good. My steak sub was cold and tasted gross. My wife’s salad was filled with brown lettuce and moldy tomatoes and was loaded with feta cheese, probably to hide the mold. Will not be going back.

Was in the area for a function and gave them a try. NY style pizza, a tad on the greasy side but good overall. Plenty of sauce and cheese and a nice crispness to it without being burnt.

The chicken fingers here — to die for. They’re fried and delicious but don’t give me that stomach ache I typically get from eating greasy food.

Ordered three menu items, none of which got eaten past a few bites. An appetizer, a pasta dish, and a pizza. It was greasy, heavy, and the flavors really just did not go together. Will not be ordering from there again.

This place is great! Awesome pizza, great fresh salads, and I love the homemade chicken fingers! Portions are large and a great value.

Not what I was hoping for, very greasy. Onion rings were literally dripping in grease, the pizza was big but also pretty greasy. The positives were the awesome, super friendly, actually quite cheerful staff. Lots of parking, great for take-​out, but not a lot of ambiance or comfort. Bonus; liqour store next door. So that’s something.

This place has some really good food, BUT when you look around the entire store is so dirty that it can’t possibly be serving food items that have been prepared safely. Look at the fire sprinkler heads and ceiling tiles and you will walk out for sure. A shame because as I said the food I had from there was very good.

Bill’s Pasta Meal was overloaded with 3 meats over ziti & a thick covering of cheese. This was baked, by the way, not just a layered heap like most other pizza places. I tried to eat half of this but absolutely couldn’t. I only conquered a third of it., so it’s 3 mealer. It is exceptional.

Although you can sit in, you probably want to do take out (not the comfiest or prettiest place you’ll ever be in) but if you are in the mood for really good fried chicken, great place to go. Large portions. Salads are pretty much what you get in any pizza joint (lots of lettuce). The pizza is okay but it’s better if you go to Sorrento’s in Acton or Concord. At least it’s convenient, easy to park, friendly staff, and like I said, great fried chicken.

YUM! This place just gets better! I recently had their new Mediterranean salad and it was absolutely delicious! And just can’t get enough of their boneless buffalo wings!!!

Maynard is starving for a good pizza and sandwich place. This place is very good — definitely the best in town. The portions are large, if a little pricey. Service is pleasant with a smile, and I’ve never had them screw up an order. Worth a visit if you need to satisfy your pizza/​sub craving while stuck in Maynard.

A few months ago, I would have given 4 stars. The past several times we’ve ordered, something has gone really wrong. It’s gotten to the point where this place, which was our first choice for delivery, is now not getting any of our business.
1. Major price spike. It’s cheaper now to get steak tips takeout from the steak house in town. Errr???
2. Their onion rings used to be great. Past 2 times we ordered, they weren’t cooked, as in the crust was still batter, and the onions semiraw. Yuck!
3. Boneless buffalo wings. No sauce, no celery, no bleu cheese. Twice.
4. Boneless BBQ wings. No sauce at all. And they changed the chicken. It’s not as good as it used to be.
5. Please stop frying french fries in the same oil as your fish, and change it more often. Fishy rancid French fries. Yuck!
They serve breakfast, now. I think I’ll pass.
