Pretty good pizza. Great prices. It was light on sauce, which I like. The cheese was high quality. Their dough was really delicious — even the crust was yummy. The garlic bread with cheese was also tasty. I went to the store to pick it up. My only complaint is that the store seemed a little dirty — really just dust(which is probably mostly flour and does accumulate very fast) on various surfaces. Since I just moved to Maynard I’m sure I will order from them again :)

Great pizza place. Its not the generic pizza place — mix of brick/coal oven. Pretty quick too. Recommended.

Super, super food. The new owners of this establishment have redone the menu’s, and the food is great!!! Always friendly staff and a delight to go in.

We drive here from a distance to get their pizza. They have delicious and original combinations. We love the Florence pizza, with fresh tomatoes and pesto. The Hawaiian and veggie pizzas are also wonderful. They have coupons in their menus.

Great Italian style Pizza as opposed to Greek style which this place used to serve years ago. Very friendly service from a family that owns it. We asked for the pizzas to be well cooked and the crust was perfect. Highly recommend.

This is our go-to pizza place, we order from them quite a bit for delivery. The crust and sauce are pretty great, however they are sometimes a little soggy in the center. If you order one of their specialty pizzas, they really load them up. The only reason I don’t get the specialty pizzas to often is the combinations are really weird. So we end up going the route of a cheese pizza and paying for each additional topping, which they can be somewhat stingy on from time to time. We have also gotten a cheese and topped it ourselves and put in the oven for a bit, and the extra baking time is often needed to rectify the soggy center. It sounds strange to recommend the salad at a pizza place but GET A SALAD added to your order. Especially the mediterranean salad! It’s not the iceberg lettuce crap you might tend to get at a pizza joint — spring mix greens with lots of great toppings: feta, olives, tomato, roasted peppers, banana peppers, onions, etc. Very good with their house balsamic. The person at the desk is always very courteous. I think she might be the owner, and she’s always there. Eat in atmosphere isn’t that great for ambiance, but it’s clean.

Ordered an Italian sub and a BBQ chicken sub recently and results were mixed. The Italian was okay but not amazing, and the chicken was dry in the other sub. They didn’t ask if we wanted them toasted and admittedly I forgot to ask, so bread was cold(albeit fresh). Pizza is good, subs leave something to be desired. Stick with the pizza if you aren’t sure what to get.

The pizza is always fantastic! We have gotten some aides and sandwiches also. Everything is always so good! We will continue to order from here! This is our favorite local place. It is always hot and ready to go if we pick it up.

Fresh ingredients. That’s what you get at this restaurant(take out or delivery only). Hand-tossed pizza crust, real mozzarella, fresh vegetables, just as it should be. We also go the spaghetti and meatballs. Very good sauce. Meatballs excellent. I recommend this place.

Best pizza in Maynard(or Stow, Concord, or Acton as far as I’m concerned). Cheap and convenient!

Best pizza in Maynard? My vote is yes! We got take-out yesterday, for the first time. The pizzas were excellent. Thin crust, not greasy, fresh toppings. I was pleasantly surprised. And the price! $ 15 for a large cheese and small mushroom and broccoli pizza. Tough to beat that. We will be ordering from here from now on. Perfect for take-out.

Doubt we’ll be back. We ordered mozzarella sticks and a bianco pizza. Mozzarella sticks were fine but we wished they were more melty. The pizza was awful. It barely had any feta and had a ton of sliced garlic, all of which was severely burned. How they thought that was ok to send out is beyond me. The garlic was black and some of it was literally burned to a crisp, like tiny charcoal briquettes. We pulled the garlic off a few slices so we could have dinner but it still tasted like bitter burned garlic. We tossed the rest of the pizza(totally unheard of in our house).

Great pizza! We never tried this place before the change in owners so I can’t do a comparison, but as it is now we love it! The toppings are awesome — our favorite is the Florence which has shredded mozzarella, tomato slices, mushrooms, baby spinach, roasted red peppers, gorgonzola cheese & pesto sauce. Since first trying Maynard Pizza House about 2 months ago, it has been the only pizza we have gotten. We’re hooked! Better prices than Sorrentos in Acton(we love their pizza) and better pizza than other places around the area.

Have been there twice now since under new ownership and new pizza style. They went from being a run of the mill Greek pizza joint to a good quality Boston/New York pizza place. They are no Regina’s or Santarpio’s but they do make a good pie. Best pie in a 15 mile radius. Thin crust, slightly sweet sauce, and very good cheese. The price is also good. $ 9.00 for a large cheese and $ 1.75 for each additional topping. The subs are also good but, they are on the small side. The price on the subs is also on the small side $ 6.00 so, that is fair. Don’t read any reviews dated before 12÷01÷12. They were run by a different owner at that time. I am very happy that I don’t need to make a trip to Arlington or Cambridge to get a decent pizza. I wish them luck and hope they stay open.

This discussion really needs to start again. A month ago maybe I saw a new sign above the place. I never cared for the old place. The name is the same but the pizza is now Italian style not Greek although I love both. I just got a quick delivery of Pepperoni and Mushroom and say it is as good as the best pizza I’ve ever had. Good luck to the new owners. Update early June 2013. They just keep getting better. My favorite is the Ferrara pizza. I get a cheap lunch or dinner there by picking up a small pepperoni pizza and it is about $ 5.30 usually they have to cram it into the take out box. They have added online ordering and while it has a few bugs it is nice. Kudos to Vanessa the young lady that works there, she is always nice and friendly. No I’m not related to this business at all. Just a happy diner.

The pizza at Maynard Pizza House, Maynard House of Pizza, or as we call it, ‘May Ho’ is adequate, befitting the standard New England *.House of Pizza name(sorry, that would be UNIX command-line humor. run away.). The buffalo chicken pizza is decent. The meat-heavy one seems like a good idea until it doesn’t. You’ll get a better-tasting meatball sub at Subway(which is not a huge insult-Subway’s are quite tasty, if chintzy and limp), and you’ll wait a while for it. Call ahead. They have those bizarrely comfortable contoured pressboard booths, but it’s not really a place one eats in. Maynard Pizza House is good in that generally i am never paying for food from there, it’s always the office(or better still, a vendor!) paying for it. If i were, maybe i’d hold it to a higher standard.
