The absolute worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Drive thru is a horror show! They NEVER have fries made so you have to pull into a parking space to wait. EVERYSINGLETIME! It doesn’t make sense. Owner and management need to get their act together! We will be going to Wendy’s from now on. 15 minutes sitting in line is ridiculous!

It’s always a great night when they have apple pies. And when they don’t they say 12 mins and you know I’ll wait cause then there really hot. 1130 and never a problem with my order. Maynard night…

Stopped in for dessert after eating at Little Pusan Korean in Maynard. The small chocolate shake is wonderful. Ask for a spoon. The clear plastic cup — yes! Transparency. A swirl of vanilla ice cream at the top surrounded by chocolate. Nice!

Came on a hot day in July and they didn’t have any sodas! Only two working the counter during the rush hour. Very slow service.

Always some kind of issue with this McDonalds! They didn’t get any of the orders right at that the drive thru monitor, the first window and at the second window. I even had to ask the older lady at the first window for my receipt, I shouldn’t have to ask. Yeah… thats how many times it took to get the order correct. The female manager was very rude insisting on reading the reciept to me of the items that I had ordered and tried to hand it back as if she was done with me. I told her I was still missing items that I had ordered. Then told me to drive up to the line and wait for the rest of my food. All that was missing was 4 extra hash browns and it took 16 minutes to get it. Needless to say, when they came to bring me my food they didn’t apologize or say sorry for the inconvenience the manager just handed me my food and walk back into McDonalds! This was very disrespectful in my eyes and unprofessional. I will never ever come back to this McDonalds!!! It is no longer worth it… what a disappointment!

If it’s late at night, and you have a infill able desire for chicken nuggets and frys, don’t go here! Unless you want a huge waft of cigaret smoke coming from the customer paying and arguing prices at window one, people switching cars, and at both windows being bitchily asked what you ordered. At least the frys were hot!

This McDonalds sucks!!! First of all they can’t get an order right… Second you ask for extra of something and they don’t do it… Third the place closes when it wants to. There is no rhyme or reason to their hours. You could go on Tuesday night at 1115pm and they will be open, you go the next week on Tuesday at 11pm and they are closed… I just went there tonight and there was guys in the dining room eating, a car driving out of the parking lot, and a car in the drive-thru. I get to the drive-thru and it says they are closed… It was exactly 1116pm. How can you have someone at the first window in the drive-thru yet be closed when I get there at 1116pm? Makes no sense… Beware of this place!!! Make the drive to Framingham McDonalds if you want it. You’ll be disappointed that you didn’t.

This McDonalds is nice, clean, and up to date. There is one flat screen television. I saw that the staff is friendly to the locals who are regular here. The premium chicken sandwich meal and Oreo McFlurry are up to par.

We like the coffee here, but getting what you ask for seems to be a challenge in itself. Anytime we get coffee here it’s the same thing — one w/whole milk, and one w/skim milk. The order screen always shows something different; usually one will say«sub-milk» which I assume means skim; however 50% of the time when I get to the window and ask what kind of milk they put in, it’s whole. Turns out they don’t have a button for skim, and they have yet to come up with a process on handling an order for skim. So each visit is a challenge and half the time they have to remake it and look at me like it’s my fault.

They were long, dark months, the time without the McDonald’s. Desperate for delicious fast-foody goodness, we piled in the car to drive to Acton, or worse, to Wendy’s. This in what should have been a glorious time, the time of McMonopoly and the return of the holy McRib. We should have been rejoicing in empty calories, not milling around at 11:55, unenthusiastic about our lunch options. Now the wait is over, and the McDonald’s is back. The first day it was open(what, of course we had to be there!) was chaotic, not least because it was a school vacation week and Maynard kids always terrorize the McDonald’s when school is out. They must have had 20 people working there, including management types taking careful notes on what was and wasn’t working. My order got briefly lost and they handed me a coupon for a frappé before i even realized i might be dissatisfied. There was some trepidation with the new McDonald’s, as to whether or not it’d change what was awesome about the old one. Not the cheesy seasonal decorations hung inexplicably upside-down from the acoustic tile ceilings, but the real effort to do things right that was evident in the food. In particular, the standard cheeseburgers and McDoubles and stuff are of exceptionally good quality. So damn tasty. The fries are uniformly fresh and the soda machines were always kept in good working order. After two visits to the new one, this is still the case. Here’s hoping that they keep that up long after the only-in-Maynard(ugh!) eccentricities begin rubbing off on the shiny new building.

So it’s a brand new building, lots of kinks to work out. Don’t let your kids wash their hands at the womens sink, it was scalding hot and you can’t control the temperature. No trash can in the ladies room either. I can appreciate the need to go green, but wipes shouldn’t be flushed. A minor detail they forgot about that I am sure will correct itself once they realize it. It’s a McDonalds, you eat here either for a childhood craving or a self-induced need to shorten your life span. We went there when corporate was trying to be helpful, but clearly talking down to the staff. That was abit disheartening. The menu is on the left side of the store, can’t see it, so if you order to the right, you will have to jump out of line to read it. At anyrate, they took away the kids germ mutation play area, when they told the Moms in town that there would be one. Clearly they changed their mind and scrapped it. They have a big area with one table, and 4 puzzle/wall games for toddlers. The assumption is that this is where it was going to go. It’s totally lame that they did away with this, but I am slightly happy about it. We shouldn’t go there anyway. This will make our trips(for all health), more for the better! The entrance and exit are much better then before. Bravo to the planning an selectman for getting this right! 2 stars because they let down all the little kids in the town. other they that it’s a McDonalds, it is what it is. yea for fast food.
