My wife and I, along with two friends went here on a Sunday night at 6:15pm, January 31, 2016. After being told there would be a 15 minute wait, we were finally seated 25 minutes later. Not that bad, but there were numerous empty tables which was unusual. They may have been understaffed. The waitress arrived shortly. She seemed frazzled and rushed, however she took our drink order. One of my friends was washing her hands, and so when our friend came back, she never took her drink order, and rushed through the dinner orders, even forgetting to ask the temperature for one of the steaks. When the main dishes came out, both of my friends filets were cooked completely burnt… well done!!, however they were only ordered medium well. My NY strip came out with cheese on top. Yuck! When they remade it, they brought it out, again, WELLDONE! It was ordered MEDIUM! The waitress never once, asked if everything was OK, never asked to refill our drinks. When we finally HADTOREQUEST to speak to the manager, he was less than thrilled to be called out to see HIS customers. He was very unapologetic, and offered to make another steak for the third time. At this point, everyone else was done eating, so I politely declined. He offered to take the steak off the bill. Big deal. Lol. I wasn’t looking for a free steak. What I got instead was a manager who could not have cared less, and the worse experience I’ve had in a long time, and my wife and I eat out several times a week. We will NEVER return to this restaurant, and will certainly NEVER recommend it to anyone. Sincerely, B. Kennedy

My husband and I were there on a Thursday night. We were seated immediately which was nice. Our waitress seemed scattered and rushed, which was surprising since the restaurant was not that busy. We gave our drink order and also ordered wings as a appetizer. She came back with the drinks and we placed the rest of our order. The wings were brought over and I immediately thought they looked a little«pale». I bit into the wing and knew by the texture that something was not right. After discreetly spitting it out, I noticed it was completely raw! I immediately got the attention of our waitress. I cut open a wing in front of her, showing that they were not cooked at all. She said,“Eww, that is nasty.” She asked if we wanted another order. We said we didn’t. She apologized and took the plate away. From that point on, she was very friendly and attentive. What I found to be upsetting is that a manager never came over to speak with us. She either didn’t feel the issue was important enough to tell the manager or he/she did not care. I went online to make a complaint. Four days later, I received a $ 50.00 gift card with a standardized letter apologizing for our negative experience. Needless to say, we used it at one of the other Darden restaurants.

This place is really a hit or miss. You could go one night & your service will be good, the food will taste great, and you’ll leave feeling satisfied or you could go on another night and your silverware will be dirty, your service will be lame, and your food will not come out how you ordered it. I’ve had my fair share of good experiences; however, the bad weigh out the good. A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner and we both ordered the Red Rock Grilled Shrimp & Renegade Sirloin(cooked medium) combo. My food came out great, but after my boyfriend got done his shrimp he started to dig into his steak and discovered it was undercooked. Our waitress took his steak and said she’d be back with a new one, but the manager returned with the same steak that was just thrown back onto the grill STILL not cooked all the way through. Many times we’ve gone and our silverware was dirty(not just water spots), but this hasn’t been a problem lately. All in all, this is a last resort kind of place. Hopefully you stop in on one of their better days.

My family and I went to Longhorn for a late dinner. 8÷23÷15. This is the second time this exact situation as happened to us. Took our server forever to come to greet us. They stuck us at a 10 person table for 2 adults and 2 kids. We put our order in &30 mins later we received it. We ordered the porterhouse for 2. Asked for medium rare(a little bit of pink to be specific) Mashed potatoes broccoli & the Longhorn Mac & cheese. A hotdog for our son as well. Our steak came out still bleeding, Mac n cheese was cold & so was his hotdog. It was gross. At least the drinks were cold. You definitely lost two loyal local customers. It went down hill fast seeings it haven’t been there long. Very disappointed. Also from reading the other reviews. We’re not the only ones who feel this way. Something needs to be done about this place!!!

I was a loyal Long Horn Steakhouse customer until recently. The firing of an employee after informing a customer that a dog was left in the car has left a bad taste in my mouth. The efforts to make their dining experience pleasurable would have came at the expense of mine. I am sad that the management felt this was an adequate solution to the problem. If the car was left running and the A/C on it would still be illegal to idle. I fortunately have 1 less option in an area crowded by many restaurants.

A bland, boring, less than mediocre place to eat. It’s the restaurant equivalent of a Days Inn Hotel. 10 of the 13 Unilocal photos are posted by the restaurant. The other 3 are taken by 1 person and 2 of those are from outside the restaurant. There’s nothing there worth eating or photographing.

Wow! I haven’t seen a restaurant go downhill so fast ever! Used to go there often but stopped when the place started to look dirty. Went there today for lunch and very sorry I did. It smells moldy! Floors are greasy/slippery. Food is typical chain restaurant garbage. A small bottle of water is $ 3.00! Second time dealing with fruit flies and regular flies buzzing around. Bread was hard as a rock even when I asked for a replacement. Beer selection is non existent. Just awful. I expect it to close soon. I can’t imagine no one smells that mold! Won’t be back. Seriously, go down the road to Outback– it is 100 times better!

I desperately want to go here and eat steak. I want to eat your deliciously crafted side dishes, and be waited on by your helpful knowledgeable staff. However, each time I sit at at table at your location I am saddened by the pitiful beer selection. It feels as though I have finally reached the fabled fountain of youth, and it is beautiful. The azure skies are gorgeous, the animals frolic in verdant meadows and the Angels from heaven regale with the songs of the Lord. Just as I am on the precipice of ordering the life-altering ambrosia served to me by your courteous staff I am informed that the elixir of life that normally accompanies this regal dish is not available at this location. Just like that the world is torn from me, I am left with only two choices: To be served in among heathens and bilemongers. Peddling their atrocious drinks as though they deserved to be on the same plane of existence your top-notch, world class steaks. Or be ruler amongst Tex-Mex food of a moderately high caliber but at the very least has the decency to pair a drink to a meal. I wish there was a choice in this matter, but there isn’t. If you can’t serve carbonated beverages that are on par with your steaks than why would I want to visit Longhorn? It’s about the full experience, and even one thing missing makes it not worthwhile to visit your location.

was there a few weeks ago. It was OK, nothing great. Ribs were decent not amazing. Good for groups looking for good value after a ballgame. Not fine dining. 9÷5÷15 there again tonight. Appetizers were good. Jalapeño poppers were good. Parmesean crusted asparagus was very good. NY strip was fair at best. Keep it simple when you eat there.

I just moved back to the area from Hyattsville, MD. I loved going to Longhorn in Md, service was always great and the food was always tasty. Longhorn in Mays Landing was a big disappointment! I went in alone for lunch by myself and a family of of six was right behind me. I was seated and the family was seated after me. The waiter greeted, took the order and give drinks to the family. I waited and waited and no one came to greet me or take my order. After 10 mins of waiting I got up and went to the hostess and expressed I’m leaving because no one is waiting on me and she just said ok. I was stocked and kept walking out. Never again!

This steaks a Longhorns are very delicious. Came here wanting a thick, tender, juicy steak and that’s exactly what I got. I ordered the t-bone steak medium with side of broccoli. I made sure I left nothing on the bone. I went totally caveman style picked up the bone and nibbled and sucked every last tissue of meat off the bone. The t-bone was seasoned so well I didn’t need steak sauce! The staff here was friendly and waiter accurate.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. My boyfriend and I are so easy to please. Our server asked us if we have ever been here before and we said no we haven’t. She got really weird. Rolled her eyes and then said what do you want to drink? Um, okay thanks for being so welcoming. We usually go to bonefish grill. It’s always such a welcoming experience. I won’t ever be back. The manager asked everyone how their meal was except ours. I feel bad because we love going out and the place looked really good. Looks are very deceiving.

I understand that it was a Tuesday so it was a slow day but I have to say it was the worst experience ever. First, we waited too long to be seated while all the staff were in the kitchen just chatting and then when we got seated 5 minutes passed and still the server didn’t come to our table to get our drinks order. At the end we had to get up and leave. The manager didn’t even apologize for the bad service. Honestly, unless they get better management I’m not going there, ever. I work in the restaurant industry so I know very well what good service is.

Oh, where to start? First I’d like to preface this by saying just because a place is a chain restaurant doesn’t give the staff the right to just completely not do their jobs. I came here last night for the first time, when we walked in the hostess ignored us for the first couple minutes we stood there until finally acknowledging our presence, giving us a buzzer and telling us the wait would only be 15 minutes. We went to the bar to have a drink while we waited and after 30 minutes, two drinks and realizing the entire waiting area had cleared out and our buzzer had never gone off, my boyfriend went to the hostess to find out when we would be seated. The hostess replied, «but you’ve only been waiting six minutes!» And then must have realized she gave us the wrong buzzer. She then took us to our table and after seating us said, «We paged your buzzer over and over again and even went to the bar and yelled your name a bunch of times.» Mistakes are fine and mistakes happen and I can look past mistakes but I can’t look past a blatant lie. Either we were only waiting for six minutes or you were desperately searching for us in an empty bar area which we would have both seen and heard you for 15, it can’t be both. Don’t lie to a customers face and try and blame them for your mistakes. Anyway, food was okay. Typical chain restaurant food, nothing special. Our waitress was so disinterested in us it couldn’t have been more obvious. I really can’t see any reason I’d go back.

First let me say that I have never had a bad meal at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Atlantic City and the last time I was at this Longhorn it was ok but last night was different. My party went during a very busy time and we were seated quickly which was nice. I like the atmosphere and that’s where the positives end. We waited 15 minutes just to get a server to our table and our entrees took over an hour to be served. The appetizers we ordered were fair at best and the Caesar’s salad was average. I ordered a 14 oz. New York Strip and the others in my party also ordered steaks. Six of the seven steaks were overcooked. I haven’t sent food back in years but I really wanted an edible steak and this one was well done. The second steak was cooked right but tasted just ok. I also ordered the signature side which was mushroom risotto. That was a big mistake. I understand that risotto is difficult to cook to order but this risotto was not edible. They sent a new order of risotto with the new steak and the two orders of risotto I now had looked completely different. My friend sitting next to me asked if they were supposed to be the same thing. Neither order was edible. I’m not a food snob but the risotto was terrible. The men’s room had toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor and was disgusting. We chose not to order desserts and will not be returning to this Longhorn Steakhouse.

Food was good, but nothing I can’t get better somewhere else. I spent too much time thinking about other restaurants at which I could’ve gotten a better tasting version of the entrees. Just an okay experience. Not impressive… A Texas Roadhouse would probably be more successful here!

We stopped in for soup, salad and drinks. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean with country music playing in the background just loud enough to hear and block out other guests conversations, but not too loud to interrupt our own conversation. The lighting is excellent, being well lit with no glare. The salads were fresh and very tasty and the two soups we tried were excellent. Our meal also included a small dish of potato chips in cheese sauce that was very good. Our waitress was both friendly and attentive. Unfortunately I have had to revise my original review. This restaurant served us burnt French onion soup twice. I posted a picture. The burnt smell was particularly offensive. We had to order something else.

I ordered take out, as I did not want to take the toddler and baby there. I ordered the Steakhouse Dinner for Two. The steaks were good. The Wild West Shrimp was not cooked enough.(They were much better the next day after being heated up in the oven). We also ordered the cheese fries with the chili and jalapenos on the side. When the chili comes in a cup with a ‘discard by’ date, that is not so appealing, putting it nicely. The food, except for the steaks, was quite disappointing. When I called to order, I told them I had a coupon for a free appetizer for joining the Longhorn Club. It took an act of Congress to get them to take it, like they had never seen their own coupon before. It seemed like me ordering takeout was a bother to them. As for picking it up, as soon as the bartender saw that I did not sign for a tip for him to hand me my order across a counter, he stopped being nice and blew me off, walking away as I was talking to him. Contrast this to my visit at the Chilis 500 feet away a few days earlier. There, I ordered takeout, and had a coupon for a free appetizer. I picked up from a spectacular bartender. I was made to feel welcome there

First of all, it’s incredibly rare(haha, get it?) that you would ever find me in a chain restaurant, but I was with friends who wanted to go, so what the hell. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were seated quickly because it was pretty slow. The wait time to be greeted was quite long for a chain, about 10 minutes, but we weren’t too worried about it. When our server brought our drinks, she was auctioning them off because she didn’t know who got what, which is pretty off-putting when you’re only with a party of four. We ordered an appetizer, the Texas Tonion, which wasn’t too bad. I really didn’t like the sour cream topping, but it may just be because it had obviously been sitting in the window too long and the sour cream was beginning to form a very unpleasant flavor/texture. However, the seasoning on the onions themselves as well as the dipping sauce were not bad, and we did end up finishing it. For my entrée, I ordered a flat iron steak, cooked medium-rare with a baked potato. I originally wanted to try the merlot mushrooms, but the server told me they were out, so I went with the grilled onions and mushrooms. My steak was cooked absolutely perfect. I mean, it was actually surprising. It was oversalted, but other than that it was quite good. The potato, however, was dismal at best. I ordered a «loaded baked potato», and it came out with a large glob of sour cream, maybe 3 bacon bits and 5 shreds of cheese. I’m not exaggerating. That is not«loaded» at all. Moreover, the mushrooms and onions I was served were completely flavorless and they were actually cold. It took away from the perfection of the steak considerably. To make matters worse, one of the diners with us received a well done ribeye after requesting medium-rare and had to send it back. Also, another diner ordered tableside steak sauce that was not ready in time for the food, so his steak was cold when it finally arrived. The manager did come over once and comped my friend’s steak, but I feel like more should have been done. This was not a very good experience, and the staff seemed pretty indifferent about it.
