I love the sweet tea here. The top 3.. Of course the salad is the best of all the chain restaurants. I recommend the Cobb salad!

Good food, sub-par service… Went to the counter after«Javier M» said he could help, then the guy walks off and we gotta wait. Asked for unsweetened tea, same guy was so distracted by his female co-worker, who he obviously has a thing for, gave me sweet tea… No biggie, just annoying. Like this place, just wish they had different staff…

I thought today would be a nice day for a bowl of chili. but what I didn’t need was a 3 to 4 day ration of salt in it. Any senior worth his SALT — would agree with this irritation and annoyance

Slowest McAllister’s I have ever been to. I was ignored by the cashier taking my to go order for a good 3 minutes before she even acknowledged me. Once my food was ready, I watched it sit in the kitchen window for 5 minutes before it was bagged and sat for another minute. The food is good quality but with service like this, I’ll get my sandwiches elsewhere.

I used to go to McAlister’s all the time in Waco while at Baylor, so I’m familiar with their offerings. Today I tried their Cajun Shrimp Po’Boy and loved everything about it. There was more than enough shrimp throughout it and an equal amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and cole slaw. The only bad thing is that the combination of cole slaw and remoulade sauce make it a soggy mess if you don’t eat it fast enough. I’ll definitely be back to get my faves such as their sweet tea, Caesar salad wrap, and soups.
