Old Navy

I love stopping by this Old Navy whenever I’m home. They have great basics at low prices; there’s no reason not to love it.
They almost always have a sale going on, and if they don’t, they have a huge clearance section in the back (right before the kids clothes). Clothes are always reasonably priced and of decent quality. Some of the things I’ve bought from here don’t always last long, but you get what you pay for.
Make sure you try on jeans and shorts before buying; they definitely fit differently than they would at other stores.
At this particular location, the staff has always been friendly. I’ve been going here for years, but I can’t remember a time when I’ve felt that the people working weren’t genuine and kind.
You can bring as many items as you want into the fitting rooms. Sometimes there’s an attendant that will ask if you need any other sizes, but often times, you can just walk right in.
They have an equally large men’s section for clothes, which I haven’t found often. This is nice if we’re shopping for my brother, or if I’m looking for clothes for my boyfriend. They have a lot of selection.
This is one of the best Old Navys I’ve been too, and one of the best places to shop in McHenry!

It’s nice to see McHenry expand it’s fashion palette from the likes of Meijer and Walmart!
This store is sizable and will most likely have something that you will feel compelled to by. I mean, 3.50 camis? Who can pass that up? NO ONE. That’s who.
The store is well maintained and every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The cashier was chipper and didn’t mind printing me a bazillion gift receipts. The guy with the beard over in the men’s section noticed I was lost and helped point me in the right direction of the fitting rooms. (HINT there’s a gigantic sign for it! Doh!)
The baby section was looking a bit empty, maybe they were in between seasons or something. There were some good clearance deals though.
It is not too shabby at all for a suburban fashion refuge!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. If they don’t have something, they can locate it at another store for you and direct you there.
The prices are very budget friendly.
It is nowhere near the size and selection of a big department store, but it suffices.
You’ll be amazed at what you can get and the prices you get it at.
But, expect to get what you’re paying for and don’t complain.
