Advantage Storage – McKinney

This is one great Storage, I came back because of the Management, Tim, he is a compassionate and caring Manager. He has a passion for what he does. The lady in the office is very pleasant to work with, as well. In that being said, my previous experience with Tim was amazing as he demonstrated and exceeded all expectations to resolve my issues for my financial benefit. Aside from Tim, the storage units are clean and the climate controlled units are kept at reasonable temperatures summer and winter. I just cannot say enough for this facility, I am so pleased to be back, well, don’t like the necessity of needing a storage, but love knowing what I do have to store is in secure and clean hands.

We recently relocated from Richmond, VA to McKinney, TX and had a mishap in our storage needs. I called Advantage and within a few minutes of arriving, I had a great unit, excellent price with no double talk (or «special» deals that aren’t really special!). My representative, GW, walked me through the lease agreement in detail and was just so kind and pleasant! The unit and grounds are immaculate with plenty of room to maneuver a large truck, AND they were so accommodating to let us keep the truck parked overnight to save us a trip! We highly recommend Advantage!

They will nickel and dime you for everything they can. I made sure to move out before the first of the month because they will charge you for a full month if you are still there on the first. When I showed up to move they said I didn’t give them 10 days notice and charged me an extra $ 60.
I won’t be using them again, and will not refer any of my friends to use them either.

Friendly and courteous. Unit was clean and easy to get to. Best price in the area, but it still seemed a little high for a small storage unit. Would use again if needed.

Jim and Caroline make you feel at home. From the moment you walk in the lobby which is filled with treats and baked goods, you feel as though you’re at home. What better way to keep your items safe then storing them at someone else’s «home».

Overall a great storage place, clean, secure, great variety of different sized units. Also offer climate controlled units. Need to park your boat, trailer or fullsized motorhome, they got it! The staff is super friendly and do anything to help you. Need storage at good price check them out! Cecil, Evonne, and Sheryl are awesome.
