They messed up my order for 2 bagels with cream cheese, not sure how they manage this place.

This is the worst Einstein bagel I’ve ever been to. bad service, rude owners and MICROWAVED bagels that turned hard by the time I got it home! When I questioned why he didn’t slice my bagel, the owner yelled at me(in unintelligible English– I believe they are Indian or Pakistani). Unbelievable! And as I left, I realized I got TWO flea bites on my ankle while standing in line. Avoid at all cost!

Generally I love Einstein Bagels and have visited a few locations in the DFW area, but this one is the worst. The staff is unfriendly, unkempt and speaks very broken English. The selection is always limited and never looks fresh. And the last time I walked in I turned around right away and left because of the AWEFUL smell. This location needs much improvement before I go back.

Very slow service. Do not want to honor corporate coupons. Made the wrong smoothie for us, and were noticeably mad they had to correct. Service used to be ok, but over the last 6 months, it has gone down hill !!

Extremely bad service. Everything from mild neglect and attention to your order to outright rudeness /disinterest. Recently had mess up with order and got the roll of the eyes when i brought it back. Prices tend to run high and give you issues using coupons and corporate ads. Avoid this place if possible. McDonald’s and Starbucks are near by, with much better service.

Bagels are about the same that you’ll get at any Einstein ’ s location. This store suffers from two factors that make it more difficult than I would like to return. The lack of a drive through window means that getting bagels here is inconvenient. The second is that once I make it in the store, the owner — manager often quibbles over coupons. He is always reluctant to take them, even the ones I get from the corporate program. One time i had to break it down that a single dry bagel indeed qualified as «any purchase» for my free coffee. Today he refused to apply my 2⁄29 $ 1 off coupon toward two tubs cream cheese because its $ 6 bagel monday. I should have declined the $ 6 for cream cheese and used what was already in the work fridge. Isn’t the reason to buy a franchise the recognizably for customers and the coordinated ad campaignings?!? I’m thinking about going low-carb.

Nova Lox sandwich makes me want to dance, and I love that I can get a decent bagel with lox with just a little trip out of my way on the commute to work. It comes on a bagel of your choice, with cream cheese, capers, lox, red onion, and tomato. You can leave off anything on that list that doesn’t sound good, but it’s a damn tasty bagel sandwich! They also have a dozen bagels for $ 6 on Mondays, just in case you’re looking to be the office favorite for the week. This location faces Custer Rd near the intersection of Custer/121 in the same parking lot as Target. The traffic in the morning is pretty gnarly, but it doesn’t take forever to get back to 121, and that leaves you some time at the lights to snack! They are pretty quick at this location as long as there isn’t a huge line. If there IS a huge line, you may want to second guess your wait. They’ll take a few orders and then stop taking orders to fill those, then come back to the register. The girls that work behind the counter are pretty nice, but the owner is super grumpy. I signed up for the Einstein email club(you should too!) and I’m always getting coupons, but it feels like it makes him angry when I show up with one? Anyway, the food is always quality and tasty, and if you’ve got the time it’s well worth a trip.

The food is just like every other Einstein bros. The low raring is the employees and management. The line to order is slow. This is because everyone is forced to repeat their order four or five times. No one running the register speaks or understands English. The girls behind them making the food speak better English but the manager/owner can’t seem to realize that. They would get a much better rating if they would swallow their pride and let someone else take the orders.

I love einsteins! This location is pretty good. Bagels are fresh, sandwiches are hot and tasty. Espresso drinks are typically pretty solid. They sometimes mess up orders, but they are nice about fixing it. We go here all the time.

I’ve experienced this store since their grand opening, as we were among the first 100 when the store opened at 5am. Note: You may find this review biased, but it’s based on an extended experience. Pro: They’re consistent. Con: By consistent, I mean: — Consistent at raising prices — Consistent bad attitude — Consistent with scrutinizing Einstein issued coupons The owner clearly doesn’t like coupons nor customers who use coupons. We use coupons or we don’t dine here. Were it not a preferred chain of some friends who need to meet in this geographic area we wouldn’t go there at all. If you don’t like to follow the program, sir, you should have skipped the franchise route and opened your own brand of store. These coupons we use are coming directly from Einstein’s email program or other advertising medium. We are not trying to steal from you; we are using a benefit that Einstein’s program provides to bring customers to your store. Does this warrant a 1* review? Definitely not. The food is good enough and it’s actually a nice environment. Why the 1* review, then? I’ve personally heard the owner speaking in a derogatory manner about the customers… on more than one occasion. We lack honesty and intelligence, it seems, based on specific statements from him while in the dining area. An owner who disrespects his customers requests a 1* review. Am I not honest? This review is honest. Am I lacking intelligence? Apparently so; we continue to return to the store.

Big fan of Green Chile Bagel since so many years. Bagel Toasted with Jalapeño salsa smear makes it even better. Love their pizza bagel as well. If I like to have something special for breakfast then Einstein bagel it is. This place is the best around Plano– Allen — frisco — McKinney area. Other places either put less smear or toast it more.

I read the reviews before I went and since most of the reviews were from a year ago, I did not give them much thought. The food is good; The service is horrendous. I decided to go for breakfast with my 2 little ones. l asked if they had a kids menu or any small sized bagels. The young lady taking my order seemed annoyed by my questions. I settled for a sandwich which I would divided for my kids and ordered juices. When I went to pay at the other register(which doesn’t make sense to me), my order was wrong and the lady taking my payment seemed annoyed with me. I went to place a To-go order and was greeted with a very snarky attitude and became very rude with her behavior. It was such an unpleasant experience.

Pretty much sick of this place. Every other time the order is wrong. When taking it to go, don’t find out until I’m on the road. No more. I’ll drive an extra 5 miles to get it right.

I just wasted $ 10.00. I ordered the turkey avacodo club. It was just nasty. I ate a few bites and tossed the rest. Also the tea tasted nasty almost like it was brewed the day before. I won’t be back.

Read the other reviews and almost passed by… but took the chance. What a great experience, very clean café, good food and lovely, lovely manager/owner. He was very kind to my young Son when he came in and seemed genuinely happy to see and to help us. Will absolutely be back, thank you for the warm welcome and experience.

If I could give less, I would. This place has the RUDEST employees of ANY Einstein location I’ve been to. They shouldn’t have been granted a franchise. I’ve been there 3 to 4 times and will NOT go again. Its been dirty each time, and the people at the counter are just flat rude. My 6yr old daughter and I were there to get breakfast today(Sunday). Three ladies were at the register ordering, but standing side by side in front of the very empty selection of bagels. My daughter and I could not see and were waiting patiently to get a glimpse of what our choices were, a rude lady asked what we wanted and I explained that I just needed to see what was left to choose from, so she immediately said«Next, I can help the next person in line». The woman behind me immediately walked around us and in front of us as if we didn’t even exist and began to order.(Side note: that same woman almost ran over my daughter getting out of our car as she drove into her parking spot). I couldn’t believe how RUDE this place is over and over! They obviously don’t need my business. I will drive to 75 and 15th or Legacy and Independence if I ever go again. I will be contacting Einsteins Corporate to make a complaint to the franchise department as well! Horrible business– zero customer service!

This is consistently one of the worst restaurants. The food is fine, and the lobby is acceptable but it’s very rare they get even a simple order correct. If you go during busy times expect your order to be incorrect. It just doesn’t matter who takes your order or serves you they consistently get my order wrong.

They are extremely rude. They act like they’re doing you a favor by giving you bagels. I filled out their survey on the receipt and told them I wasn’t happy. Two weeks later, I received a phone call from the store asking for me in a rude tone. I didn’t even bother. I think they also own the one on Preston in Frisco because they’re extremely rude as well. That store actually yelled at me because I changed my mind about purchasing cream cheese. I would rather go somewhere else.

Unless you have coupons, like I did, save your cash. Maybe still save your cash and go to Tom Thumb. They have $.59 bagels. Been to this place a few times now. Very confusing set up. Having both an ordering and pay spot confuses people because you still have two lines forming. Employees are borderline rude here it seems for whatever reason. And frankly, just not worth the money for me anymore. Paying $ 7 for a salmon bagel, put some salmon on it. The bagel cost you a dime to make. Don’t mask my sandwich, which looked loaded with salmon, with a thick slice of tomato. Won’t be back… Last chance…

I have had great food and service here… the staff knows me by name and my order. It seems I need to add more to my review for it to post. I usually eat at this store 5 – 6 times a week. The only negative thing I can add is «I wish they had outside dining seats». Seems I have added enough to post. Bob

We have been going to this location usually weekly since it opened a couple years ago. The last several visits have not been good and the owners increasingly look agitated and the quality of their bagels has gone down. We asked about the frequent bagel card and why they never have any. The owner keeps saying corporate doesn’t send them enough. He says if I want any to just go to a corporate store and come back with it. That is crazy, how cheap can you be and I don’t think that Einstein corporate policy would agree. Furthermore, on the last visit the bagels looked burnt and the POS system was not working. The owner made me wait over 10 minutes while they restarted(3 times) and tried to reset the system. He didn’t even offer a cup of coffee or something while I stood at the register. Finally, after the 3rd time of asking for my card, I told them that they could keep the bagels and walked out. You would think he would try to keep our business, but didn’t even care that we left. It’s unfortunate because we’ve been loyal customers, but there are so many other better options such as Panera and some independents that care about customer service out there. I would not recommend this location or their other one on Preston Rd near the Frisco mall, which is the same owners. Not sure which others they own, but think twice before giving them your business. Go to a corporate store before them please.

Either I’m not that big of a fan of bagels or I’m cheap… but i honestly cannot comprehend why a bagel must cost so much. Yes yes I know they come with all kinds of things on it… but at the end of the day, it’s still a bagel! Now the lunch sandwiches are a different story. they are pretty tasty. Yes, on the pricier side. but at least it’s a lunch sandwich. not a bagel!
