Service was friendly. Clean and nice atmosphere. the issue is that they serve low quality food. I used to go to the Denton Tap location, it was owned by an older, Italian man who had quality food. His gluten free crust was off the chain and he gave us quality ingredients as well as our money worth with fresh salads. This location is like most of the Palio locations — low quality ingredients with the minimal amount of toppings on both pizza and salad. I will wait for a while to go back in hopes that the ingredients become better. Greedy and half azz is not the way to win regular clientele.

We come to this location at least once a week. We usually love their pizza, depending on the day. There are days when the pizza is fantastic! And there are days when the pizza is meh. The customer service is usually ok. A few events I ran into an issue, they fix… Sorta. Like when I found what looked like a cooked baby spinach in my tea, they dumped the tea dispense out and put new tea in(not sure if they even washed it at all…) But whatever. I guess no more tea for me. Then one time they gave us the wrong pizza, saw they made a mistake and gave us a free pizza. We didn’t mind because the mistake pizza turned out better than the one we ordered. So then we come to the event that made me write this review. On Tuesday night, we had a friend over and we declared pizza night at home. So of course I called and ordered Palio’s pizza, medium supreme and medium meat lovers and added their garlic bread. So they said the pizzas will be done in 15 minutes. So it takes approximately 10 minutes to get there from home so I went ahead and left to pick up the pizzas, took my time. Got there, pizzas were fresh and hot out of the oven, paid and left to home with pizzas. The pizza was meh but ate it anyway. The next day, I woke up vomiting, explosive diarrhea, and extreme nausea. I thought I was dying! OK that’s a lie, I thought I was pregnant at first but anyways… A few hours later my husband woke up vomiting and explosive diarrhea, which kinda made me relieved that I’m not alone in my misery. Then the friend texted and said he was sick too. So all 3 of us were sick with the same thing at the same time. That’s when I connected the dots: the pizza and bread was the culprit! I called up Palio’s pizza(this was on Wednesday, the next day) and talked to their manager and explained to him the whole shabang. He talked to me as though it was no big deal and casually talked about previous food poisoning. Um OK, I guess no more Palio’s pizza for us :(

It is ok but nothing special. The food tastes like a chain but I appreciate how nice the staff is, how clean it is and it is close to my home. The pizza is ok. As we are from Chicago, we have different expectations for pizza. It is not poorly made, just nothing special about the sauce or crust. I don’t think it compares to fireside pies, however, it is close to us and we get the kids spaghetti and meatballs on occasion.

If you need gluten free with no cross contamination don’t come here. Others do a great job and I don’t get sick, this place has landed me in bed or running to the bathroom.

HORRIBLESERVICE!!! Not customer oriented! If you order from this place, DONOTORDERONLINE! We have always used the Craig Dr location until they shut down. This location here at 6405, I’m sure won’t last if it keeps screwing people’s orders up! Absolutely DONE with this location!!! Ordered a pizza and two salads online at 7:15pm. The total came to $ 35.43 and the order confirmation said it would be delivered by 8:22. Awesome! 8:36 rolls around and now we are trying to figure out where our food is. After calling up there and speaking to their so-called manager, he states that there is no order placed and that they have nothing from our address. I explained to him that our cars has already been charged and told him we have a confirmation number. He’s telling me it must have been a different location. By this time it’s coming up on 8:45 and this guy is not being very helpful. He mentions he will tell the owner say they can do a refund. I then mention to him that a refund is fine, but we are still wanting to eat. He states that he won’t be able to get a driver to me. WHAT A JOKE!!! Do not use this location!

This place is great, know what you’re expecting before you go. It’s a very thin crust pizza, and takes a little more to fill you up. A single person can eat a large or so by themselves. So it might be a little pricey if that’s what your goal is. The few times we’ve had it, it wasn’t soggy. The sauce had a sweet taste to it and the toppings are great. We’ve had plain cheese, bacon, the chicken and bacon, and the everything. If you’re not Into thin crust pizza then this place might upset you. If you love thin crust, give this place a try if you’re in McKinney. One of the best places In the area

Last two orders I received pizza was cold and floppy. Don’t know what’s going on with them but I think I’m done with this place.

I used to work for this place a long time ago. The food is not like if you went to some fancy resturant and spent big bucks. They make the dough themselves, the greens and everything is fresh and if they ran out I would be sent to market street to buy more fresh ingrediants. They only make thin crusted pizza since it has to go through a conveyor oven. Basically they make and prep just about anything there. It’s a nice cheep place when you want something different then pizza Hut or papa Johns. If you want more sauce or anything added or taken away just ask.

So this is my first time here and still searching for some great pizza. Unfortunately I didn’t find it here and this is why: 1. The dough for the pizza is more like a fat torilla or a naan bread, take your pick. It is ultra thin and floppy. 2. The cheese used is inferior, low moisture… 3. The sauce… well there isn’t really any sauce so I can’t say much about the sauce since there wasn’t much. 4. The toppings were just below average. I had ordered the meaty cheese I guess it’s called. For some reason, it comes with cheddar cheese. It’s a good thing I asked them to remove that. I’m sorry but this pizza ranks below something I could have at Walmart. In fact, this pizza ranks equal to high school cafeteria quality pizza. The role of the crust is to support what you have on top. The sauce should be tangy, present and flavorful but not so much that it undermines the toppings. The cheese should be gooey, that’s why I prefer high moisture cheeses(more expensive because it’s a better product) and your toppings… well. Consider a new vendor for your ingredients.

We used to order from the location on Craig Drive and 75, until we called and found out it was«permanently closed». The message referred us to this location who had a «newly expanded delivery area» per the previous recorded message… well, apparently it doesn’t include customers from the now closed Palio’s. Guess you’ve lost customers. Sad you can’t accommodate loyal customers.

Food and the atmosphere around in there is really good. Not only the pizzas, sandwiches and the pasta are fantastic. Desserts like sweetza and cheesecake are really worth trying. Credits to all the people working there, making it a fabulous place to eat and hangout with friends and family.

Great Pizza! My favorite is the Mediterranean on their gluten free crust minus the cheese. The sauce is fresh and flavorful! One of the best Vegan Gluten free pizzas I’ve ever had! Well worth the money

Let’s see. Delivery from 10 minutes away. Tasty but cold pizza. Three salads each composed of wilted, brown lettuce fit for a hamster. There will be no second try

What in the world was this!!! A complete waste of $ 12! The pizza was basically a sheet of paper with some bad sauce and cheese on top. My life goal is now to invent a time machine so I can go back and never go here, EVER! Soooo annoyed!

A large pizza is not enough to fill one person up. Paper thin crust, very little everything on it. I had to run to little Caesars to get more pizza. I’m soooo pissed i spent my money here!

The pasta and pizza is great here. They also have an outside patio which is nice to sit in when the weather is great.

Wow. They’ve gone downhill over the past year. Pizza used to be outstanding, but the last few orders over the past three months have shown a steady decline in quality. Today, they didn’t even get the order right… and with two large pizza’s, you’d think they would get at least one of them correct. So sad, as they had really great quality for so long. I’ll give them another try in a few months and hopefully they’ll get their act back together.

Update: The day after I posted, David from Palio’s messaged me, heard my concerns and made things right. He was friendly, apologetic and genuinely interested in my feedback. I think this shows integrity, and they have my business back, and possibly greater loyalty. Palio’s is one of the very few places that makes a decent gluten-free pizza. The baked wings are good as well. — Expect late deliveries, cold pizza, and crappy customer service. Ordered way ahead of time for delivery at 6pm. Food was a half hour late, luke warm, and they got the order wrong. I called when the food was late(before I even knew the order was wrong, and it wasn’t hot). The«manager» fed me a story about how they are so busy. Yeah, but they didn’t even call to say they’d be late. I asked for a coupon, or something as a consolation, and the guy puts me on hold. The real manager picks up, and pretends he just picked-up at random. I ask for the original guy back, and he tries to squirm out of it. Finally he offers $ 5 off my next delivery, and says something about having to answer to the owner. I told him to tell the owner he just lost a customer over $ 5. He says, «great» and hangs up. If someone who works there would like to make this right, I’d love to hear from you. But the message I got was, «we’re busy, stuff happens, and we don’t care».

Nice pizza @ reasonable prices, Laid back place. BYOB! Warning: ‘kid-friendly’ is the understatement of the year. It is positively crawling with babies & toddlers– kids racing around at Chuckie Cheese levels of quantity & noise. We take our food to go now.
