I have to give a shoutout to Sana and John for helping me in their store. I brought in a gently worn Eddie Bauer down jacket that I bought at an Eddie Bauer Outlet after the sleeves burst. The Eddie Bauer Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee( ) got me a store credit to buy another jacket. Sana remembered me from a very short visit I had in the store 3 – 4 weeks before, and helped me with both the credit and the selection of my life new jacket. I am amazed at the amount of customer service I received and recommend this store to everyone.

This store is the best. The service is great and the clothes are of great quality. I would like to give recognition to, Pia, a woman who works in this store. She is always so helpful, friendly, and knows her customers. This store rocks! Rosie

One of the few stores in the area to carry Tall sizes in casual clothes(and not Big and Tall, just Tall), so we visit this store during visits to Tysons Corner. Unfortunately they don’t carry longer pants sizes, but a nice selection of Large Tall and XL Tall shirts and sweaters can be found(just a smattering of the unusual Medium Tall). Service here is fine — nothing special and the employees aren’t overly friendly. The area to line up for the register is odd. Basically there is a low display table right down the middle, so I’m never sure which side is the best to start a line, particularly since just one register is typically open.

Not a bad shop at all. The service is very friendly here, they have a decent selection, and you can get some good deals on the clearance rack in the back(when it’s out). I also like that it is closer to some of the parking structures if I’m not in a «mall» mood, but need some decently made clothes.

I was browsing about Tyson’s today; actually about to leave, when I happened to see that the Eddie Bauer store was having a ‘Happy Birthday Eddie’ sale — everything 30 percent off. I have been looking for a nice winter coat, so I stopped in, «just to see.» Inside, it was bustling but for good reason. I honestly haven’t been to an Eddie Bauer’s in forever — and I certainly didn’t remember Eddie Bauer having such cute women’s clothing/coats! Quickly, I was assisted by a friendly clerk(Stephen) and he asked what I was looking for. I explained my situation and he pointed out where I should be looking — actually at that moment, I was thinking more along the lines of locating a raincoat… but I digress… =D **A quick glance at the prices warned me that even with 30 percent off, I’d still be spending over $ 150 for a coat… while that certainly wasn’t unreasonable, you have to remember, I just moved from Florida! The most I spent on outerwear has been about $ 50, tops, for hoodies and such. Hahah.** So, with the above thoughts in mind, I was ALMOST about to exit — when a few more coats caught my eye! I had to try them on — a red, long down coat and a burgundy-plum down with a chic little belt… oh squee! I tried those on, too… even paraded around a little. Even took them to the dressing room. My mind was made up. I WASBUYING A COATTODAY. YES! I was COMMITTED. It was at this point that Alex, another EB employee(I think he might have been a manager?) came up and complimented my taste in coats. I asked him his opinion, and he offered his comments, but the decision was still at a standstill… pros and cons were weighed(one was rated at Very Cold rating — 0 to 20 F, one was at Cold, 20 to 40 F, for example) but it still came down to this: they were both attractive, nice coats with equal price tags. I tried them both on again… and then, strode back up to the front of the store, and threw ONEMORE contender in… the dark olive green! This coat meshed the best of both worlds… the fleece lining of the red, the dark but stylishly neutral tone of the plum… it was $ 20 more, but it also was rated Very Cold… had a cute hood with fake fur… AHHH! For good measure, I tried on the dark olive’s fraternal twin in the series — a graphite. It was cute too… but olive won my heart. Through this coat drama, Alex was patient and helpful, and even when it came time to purchase(with still, a third employee, unfortunately, didn’t catch his name) I was feeling happy and confident about my purchase. Thank you, Tyson’s Eddie Bauer, for a wonderful shopping experience, and a reminder as to why we should go out and shop =D
