Ok. .. what happened? Did I just stop in on a bad night? I had a craving for their Haleem. Hubby stopped in and ordered some to go. He also added an order of Pakora. Both are utterly disappointing. The Pakora are over fried but also soggy. The favor is good, but they are flacid and greasy. Not a good experience. The Haleem is making me sad. I had their Haleem a few days after they opened. It was rich, thick, spicy, earthy, and complex. I couldn’t wait to have it again. Even now I can wistfully remember the incredible flavor. The container I got tonight tastes like curried lentil soup with some chicken thrown in. The spice is good but the complexity is gone. It’s also a yellowish brown where the previous versions were a richer brown color. What a total bummer.

My family and I tried this restaurant for the very first time and we absolutely loved it. Everything tasted extremely fresh and delicious. The owner was very cordial with us. He even took the time to bring something over that he thought my four-year-old son would appreciate. My son’s reaction was that he wanted it closer to our house so we could eat there all the time. The funny part about that is were only about 5 miles away :) We even ended up buying some take out to bring home to have later in the day. Highly recommend this great, place for the lunch buffet.

Excellent!!! Nice gentleman running the joint. Lunch buffet was very fresh. Naan delivered to the table. Love this kind of food and this place stands up above the rest.

Oh my goodness, what a fantastic meal! Having our toddler with us, we were a little worried about what to get her that wouldn’t be too spicy, but our waiter made us a suggestion of the pakora and it was on point, our toddler was so happy(so were we)! We had pretty standard newbi meals: butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, and both were amazing. Our naan basket and rice plates were full, the mango lassi was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our toddler kept saying«this is the greatest! This is delicious! It’s so good!» as she downed her little butter chicken, rice and naan«taco.» We had enough for leftovers and the(maybe?) owner even took a moment to tell us about a Christmas light display a few miles down the road, which we went to see right after dinner. My husband would never choose Indian/Pakistani food over other types, but after tonight he said that he wanted to make it a new regular spot. I can’t say enough about the generosity and kindness of the employees, especially when it came to our toddler.

Great food and service. We sampled everything from appetizers to kababs to kababs rolls to veg dishes. All were excellent. The samosa chaat, chapli kabab, and saag paneer were standouts. My Pakistani family gave it a unanimous thumb’s up!

I had chicken biryani and it was delicious. It was a huge serving and was perfectly seasoned. Everything about this place was great.

We’ve ordered take out from this place twice. We love Indian and Pakistani food in general and usually go to the east shore to find good Indian food. Before this place opened, it was hard to find any good Indian food on the west shore. We’ve tried the butter chicken, lamb korma, tikka masala, and chicken tandoori and they are all excellent and flavorful. Also, have been very happy with their prices. This is our new go to place for Indian food. Looking forward to also trying their lunch buffet.

I must have missed writing a review for this one. The check in was few months ago, in summer. I ordered: 1) Chicken Seekh Kabab — without the homemade nan option. Just the kabab. They were ok. 3⁄5 start rating would be appropriate. 2) Chicken biryani — I did not like it. Both the dishes were non spicy and the flavor was not great!

Tried their lunch buffet. Very good selection on weekdays. Good selection of both vegetarian and non vegetarian fare. My favorites are the chicken biryani and the palak paneer(spinach with cheese). Haven’t tried their weekend buffet but I heard it is good. Attentive staff. Not crowded. Nice place to have lunch.

We were very impressed by this place! The prices were very reasonable for the type of cuisine and the server and owner were very kind. The only negative was that the food wasn’t spicy at all for what I would expect from Indian food. It would have been nice to be able to customize the spice level. We will definitely be returning though!

I tried Zaiqa Kabob House last night and loved it! We wanted to stick to more of the Pakistani dishes for the first visit so I can’t attest to their Indian selections but I’ll definitely be back to try those out, as well. We ordered the Keema Samosa, Beef Kebabs, and Achari Chicken. I’ve always loved samosas but these ones were out of the world delicious; very flavorful and the tamarind chutney complimented them perfectly. The two entrees came out not long after and I was only even more impressed upon trying them. We ordered the Achari Chicken«extra spicy,» and they hit the nail on the head for the spice level. Most impressive, the meat was SO tender. It’s difficult to find really good, well-cooked chicken but this place definitely has that down. Another plus was that they included the option to forego the rice and have naan accompany the entrée instead, rather than having to order separately, which all other places seem to make you do. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Service was friendly and prompt. I also found that it was rather affordable. Most of the appetizers were generally around $ 3 — $ 4 and entrees $ 8 — $ 12. They also do a take-out buffet by the lb. which no other Indian restaurant seems to offer. I do have one small complaint though. they seemed to have taken off several different menu options, including all the platters, from when they initially opened. These items were just covered over with a marker on the menus. It’s not a big deal, but typically, I like variety when I order Indian, so the platters would have been perfect to try a couple of different things without having to order double the food for double the price. Overall, we had a great experience, and will definitely be back to try more.

My favorite place for Indian around Harrisburg so far. Butter chicken and Tikka Masala were fantastic. Kids approved and they’re pretty picky so we had to bring some home with us. Service was very quick and helpful and great with our toddler. Also got the eggplant dish, also great. Can’t wait to go back.

We love Indian food and tried this new restaurant last night. Both of our meals were delicious! My husband’s Haleem beef stew was tender and nicely spiced, and my chicken tikka was perfect! I love tandoori chicken and theirs was moist and flavorful — not dry like I’ve experienced elsewhere. And then there’s the naan… we got both garlic and onion naan and they were hot, crisp on the outside and deliciously chewy on the inside — just perfect. Our meals were served promptly and hot. The wait staff was very professional, helpful and pleasant– turned out they were the owners. This place will be our new favorite.

Great fan of Indian food, so I was excited to try this new place. Had the lunch buffet. It ties for the worst Indian buffet in Central PA, along with nearby Biryani Point. Buffet food selection was minimal, food was crusted and lukewarm, and no flavor. No spice to anything. I was so disappointed, especially after reading the good reviews. Maybe ordering from menu is better? Service was fantastic though. Won’t be back for that food though.

Really excellent Indian food. The naan was deliciously fresh and fluffy. We had two different spinach dishes that came topped with fresh matchsticks of ginger and cilantro leaves. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned. The vegetable samosas were delicately fried and the fresh herbs and spices were obvious in the filling. The service was great and the prices very reasonable with the exception of the rice. Apparently with the meat dishes you get a choice of naan of rice, but no option with vegetable dishes. When they came out unaccompanied by rice we ordered it, but they charged us $ 5 for a plate of rice! That was nearly half the price of our entrees. We were thrown off by the rice thing, but we’ll definitely go back. Quite possibly my favorite Indian food in the area.

Always looking for new, interesting local family owned places to eat, so the wife and I grabbed some takeout here last night. I had the butter chicken and my wife had the chicken jalfrezi, both served with rice and both were excellent. The butter chicken was our favorite of the two entrees, it comes in a creamy tomato based sauce with Middle Eastern spices and it was superb. We also loved the keema samosa appetizer and chicken kabob. As other reviews have noted, the kabob was so good, especially on top of a torn off piece of the homemade naan bread. The owner is a really nice guy and I can’t wait to go back and try something new. Gotta go try this place.

We stopped in here on their first night to serve from the menu as opposed to buffet style. We started with pakora that were out of this world delicious. Fresh from the fryer, crispy on the outside, and served with such a marvelous mint sauce with just a hint of heat that I can’t wait to come back for more. My family shared their food which included chicken biriyani, Haleem, beef nihari, and chicken kabobs. All of the good came out quickly and was perfectly seasoned. The wait staff was superb and the owner’s son came to meet us at our table. On a scale from one to five we all gave it a five! Make sure to try the chicken kabobs as they were my favorite and save room for exquisite desserts.
