Prodigy

I forgot I add my review after I got my hair cut here back in May 2013. Shannon cut my hair and she did a great job. Anyway, she is a lower «tier» than Stephanie (the owner), who was the only other stylist there at the time, but Shannon did an amazing job! She was attentive and asked me questions and gave me honest opinions of the different pictures I brought in as to what she thought would look best on me. Advice like that is what I’ve been waiting for!!! I’ve been looking for the salon to call «home» for over a year now, and as long as Shannon is there, I will keep coming back! Plus, b/​c she was a lower tier or whatever it’s called, she was less expensive… $ 30 for a woman’s haircut! Nice!

Small, quiet, intimate, unintimidating, friendly, skilled, fashionable salon. Got my hair cut here yesterday with Stephanie. My hair is medium length, fine. She changed my look and gave me a great haircut. It was very reasonable and I left extremely satisfied.

Went to Stephanie for a major haircut yesterday… It turned out awesome! I wasn’t sure of what hairstyle I wanted (I had a better grasp of what I didn’t want), and somehow Stephanie delivered exactly what I didn’t know I wanted! Got A TON of compliments so far! All of this in a very friendly, non-​pretentious atmosphere! (and even though they are a Paul Mitchell salon, they don’t push any products on you like the place a couple of blocks down…) Love this place!

I get my hair done by Sue and every single time she does a KILLER job. She takes her time and does her absolute best to give exactly what you ask for. Usually I ask for something eccentric and she nails it no problem. OH pfft and not only that, she and her fellow staff members are funny and friendly which is the perfect combo; it makes the experience comfortable. Haven’t ever walked out of Prodigy dissapointed and don’t think I ever will.

This past week I went to Prodigy for my second time ever. Both times, I got a fabulous hair cut from Sue, and eyebrow waxing. She is simply amazing. She really cares about your satisfaction, and she won’t let you go without making sure you are 100% happy with your hair. She knows how to do her job very well, and she is so friendly. I am a little shy, but I felt like she was an old friend after a few minutes, and we talked the whole time I was there. Sue is such a sweet lady! I wish I lived in Pennsylvania still, but I’ll just have to keep coming up to visit my parents (and Sue!) to get my hair done.
Get Sue to do your hair! You will not regret it :)
And Amanda has the fingers of a goddess when she washes my hair. I wish she could do it every day! She is adorable and so sweet, friendly, courteous, etc.
The Salon itself is very beautiful. It doesn’t seem very large, but I think that makes it very intimate feeling. Some of the chain hair places make me feel like I am on an assembly line. I never felt rushed out of here at any time. I had a wonderful experience!
