Great seafood chowder and grouper sandwich. Quick friendly service. First visit and will be back again.

Honestly speaking, probably some of the best food I’ve ever had, amazing view, great service, great music. You can’t lose here, Defiantly check it out!

When I entered the place I could see boxes on the floor, two tables in which planning was been done and disorganization was going on, not so inviting for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. Overall, they were not ready for customers. We got served water on plastic cups, when their meals run from $ 18 to $ 34, really, a plastic cup???
The food: presentation needs attention, some items on my plate were not the best quality like the New York strip, the fish was more spicy than tasty, the coconut shrimp too dry and the oysters overfilled with spinach. The service was great!!! Well, the manager seems very though on them. Overall, not romantic at all, the mood was ruined with all the business conversations that I had to listen to as our table was next to the manager’s desk which is next to the kitchen door!

Early dinner yesterday; not disappointed! Kenneth, you set the benchmark for all servers. Professional, attentive with detailed recommendations and genuine kindness is absolutely noteworthy! Food was amazing but you made the experience outstanding!

Soup was a chowder –hearty, full of flavor, nice and hot – delicious! Willy was a Fisherman Salad-​huge and has wonderfully prepared shrimp, Mahi Mahi, crab legs, and so much more! I paired with homemade honey balsamic vinaigrette. My husband selected an evening special, grouper bruchetta on a bed of pasta and it was fantastic! Thank you everyone for once again a great experience and well prepared food!

I love the food however the service is less than stellar. I’ve been there okay twice and the first time was amazing. The second time my server apparently forgot to give me my choices (and since I’d only been there once I didn’t remember) so my sandwich tasted different then the 1^st the I had it when it wow’d me. Regardless, I recommend this place and will Go back.

Atmosphere is definitely nice. Our waiter was friendly and explained the specials and suggested different dishes to try. Food was good. Everything tasted fine and was cooked to order. I had a groupon so it was worth our trip. I’m not sure I would make the trip otherwise. Maybe with friends for a few drinks an appetizers on a cool night.

Nice place to hang out once in a blue moon. Bad points are they’re constantly running out of certain Items by 6 PM including draft beer. Why? No one knows. The Servers are cool about though and very apologetic with the restaurants short comings.

Delicious food! Great atmosphere. Relaxing music, beautiful views of the water. Outside patio.

Saturday night, First visit. Walked in after a day at Sea World.
Sat outside on the deck overlooking the river.
Service was solid (thanks again Jayce-​?), food was really good!
Had the Grouper Bruschetta special, really tasty.
Coconut Shrimp was excellent, not overly sweet.
Stuffed mushrooms app was great.
Bread was great, Caesar salad was really good. Croutons did not taste fried as most places take the easy way out. Other salad dressing on the table was blue cheese, homemade and a little chunky (good thing).
The crab cakes were not crammed with filler breadcrumbs, and tasted good, however I would say they could lend themselves to some sauteed’ peppers and onions, and some Panko to kick it up a level.
We had a two year old with, her food came out, pasta with a garlic butter, and some veg came out asap.
The little one devoured her ice cream while we ate our entrees.
Overall, this was a really good place, food was really good, not chain and typical grouper sandwich place.
I would def recommend for a date or for a group.

Do not let the rustic exterior of this place deter you from stopping by. The charming décor of the interior is only second to its outdoor bar and spacious riverside deck. The staff is extremely friendly which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Though it is beer and wine only, they have a very good variety of domestic and craft beer. They also make wine based frozen drinks to meet your inner tropical side. The majority of the food is made in house and is very tasty and well prepared. The lunch prices are pretty reasonable, but the dinner entrees can be a bit pricey depending on what you get. Over all, I give Bonefish Willy’s high praise and will be frequenting this establishment often. Great place. Kudos to the owner and staff.
Update: Jamaican Jerked wings are fantastic. I like the fact it’s a wet sauce and not a dry rub.

Fantastic sea food. Enjoyed the atmosphere right on the river. The fire works they shot off scared the crap out of everyone. Probably not a great idea. Stick with good food and atmosphere.

Tried their fresh Grouper and Red Snapper, it was delicious and fresh! Great place for family and group of friends to hang out and smell the salt ocean water!

Quaint place on the water! Great place for lunch. Got the Bonefish Salad with jamaican jerk seasoning… it was perfect! Their italian dressing is made in the restaurant and it was great. Very enjoyable atmosphere and will be back !

We summer here and this is one of my must hit fish restaurants. Their fish specials are usually excellent. We were here tonight at my now 8yo’s request for his birthday dinner. I come with three kids… For a later (after 8pm) dinner. I expect my kids to act accordingly for a late dinner that will cost over $ 100. Behind us is a table also with three kids…, both parents and kids are yelling and being obnoxious… All the other tables are staring… No one says a word and our meal was essentially ruined as we couldn’t hear ourselves speak. At an earlier hour I would be more tolerant… But I spent way to much to have such an unpleasant experience. Server was good as usual. Food was also as good as I remember…

Wow, this place was awful. While the setting on the back deck is beautiful, the food was NOT! We ordered two appetizers, the baked brie (yuck) and the stuffed mushroom caps (horrible). Equally as bad was the service! For our meal, we ordered the coconut shrimp and crab cakes. The shrimp was overcooked and we sent it back. This was a waste of time and money. I suggest going to Squid Lips instead!

Our dinner and service tonight were superb. Our party began with the crab stuffed mushrooms. The appetizer was delicious, mushrooms were very hot and covered with a very generous amount of mozzarella cheese. Our dinners were: Cajun Grouper topped with a fruit salsa and fries (choice of potato or rice), NY Strip with a baked sweet potato, Mahi Marsala on a bed of angel hair pasta, and (child) Chicken Strips & fries. The adult dinners came with an acceptable dinner salad, and the house vinegarette dressing is very good. The pineapple cole slaw was very good. Warm bread was also served. Our dinners were cooked properly, served hot, and we each were given very generous portions. Each item was seasoned well. There was one small mistake; the Grouper should have been served with fried, but we were given rice. Our server apologized (she thought we said rice when we said fries), and promptly returned to our table with an order of hot, fresh fries. In addition, I ordered a beer that I ended up not liking. Our server offered me a different kind, no extra charge. She apologized, because it was near the bottom of the keg, and was worried about the quality, so she offered a THIRD selection (she left the first two at out table in case someone wanted them), again, at no extra charge. Our seating and service were excellent, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. This is the 4^th visit in two weeks for my family. Our new favorite restaurant!

I was there with my family on a rainy day with only a couple of other patrons. Service was good except my crabcakes had shells in them, not very appetizing. The salad was decent (but who could mess that up). The bread was mediocre.
Since the original owner passed, this restaurant has not been the same. The new portions are smaller. The quality of food has taken a major hit. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Ordered our appetizers dinner and it was all fabulous… great service… great atmosphere and so relaxing on the water love it here !

2 stars for atmosphere. Sat on the deck and it was comfortable. However, we waited 30 minutes before I walked to the bar and asked if I could order a drink. The manager actually became our server. The appetizers were decents, the food was mediocre.
But, the service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. Whe you sepnd $ 160 plus for dinner I expext good service. Wont be back to this 1

So people have told me how wonderful this place is. Unfortunately these are the same people that have steered me wrong about food before. When we were invited to go here by another couple I agreed to give it a shot.
So it’s not located in the best area of Melbourne. Actually its a stone throw away from where just about anything illegal is available for sale. This was disturbing but moving on now. When entering the restaurant it looks like what could be the set of a new Gilligans Island tv show. Walking out to the Tiki bar you have a great view of the river. Only one problem. There is a tiki bar, but no liquor??? They offer beer, wine, but not booze. This is a huge red flag people!!! What restaurant doesn’t sell liquor? They either lost their license or can’t afford one. This usually mean, not enough business. Now I’m really worried.
We decided to be seated in the dining room which has AC. Our waiter was very friendly and took our drink order. It took some time to get our drinks which was strange because it was not busy and only tea and soda were ordered. After the long wait for the drinks we made our food order. This too took a very long time and what was even more astonishing was drink refills were practically non existant. We eventually had to poke our head in the kitchen to ask for refills. Unacceptable!
So I finally got my Island Fish Gumbo and I am happy to report that it was very tasty. Again after a long wait and a lot of asking we got our entrees and our second refill. A house salad came next, it was ok but nothing special. Now they claim to serve the best crab cakes in Brevard. Now Brevard restaurants can make a lot of great food but one thing Brevard does not know is how to make crab cakes. My crab cakes here were average at best and tasted like frozen pre-​made. Fresh hand formed crab cakes just don’t look or taste like how mine looked and tasted. The Caribbean rice was a joke. Just yellow rice with a touch of spicy seasoning. The mixed veggies were very good.
Niki had the cheeseburger and she explained to me that it was the worst burger ever. How do you get a hamburger wrong at these prices? She said it tasted like frozen low quality meat. Actually she said D grade meat just to be fair. The fries on her plate were good.
Dessert really you ask? I had the pineapple upside down cake which was good. Niki had the key lime pie which she said was good. They claim that they are homemade but since everything else seemed frozen I can’t take their word for it at all.
At about $ 35 a head with tip this place has just no redeeming factors. I have no idea how they get these high ratings on Unilocal.They must be paying these people for their reviews or they are all friends of theirs. As you can guess we will never ever, in now way, even under threat of death be back here again.
