Publix Super Markets

Stopped by to pick up my script and decide to get a flu shot at the Publix Pharmacy. There’s a 20 minute wait do I went ahead and picked up a few groceries first.

This Publix is located in Melbourne off of Wickham Avenue and Post Road. There is a small strip mall attached to the publix there is also a really great soup shop that I highly recommend going to for lunch. Across the street from the publics there is a Walmart. I have been to this Publix multiple times and I will continue to go back to them. My aunt and uncle go here 2 times a week and it’s there go to grocery store in the area.
Out of all of the supermarkets that I have been too throughout my travels the staff at this Publix is the nicest and most accommodating out of all of them. I wasn’t even five steps in the door and one of their employees said hi how are you doing today. I also noticed that their staff members were assisting elderly people to their car with their bags. Pricewise this Publix is a bit more expensive than some of the other grocery stores in the area but like I always say you do get what you pay for.
Compared to the supermarkets in New York this Publix is extremely clean and offers a lot of healthy eating choices. This Publix had its own health section within a range of nuts fruits salads organic section I was very impressed. They also had a really big deli section which has boars head cold cuts!!! They also had a hot tray station where they had everything for macaroni and cheese to wings and fresh homemade soups. To the right of the section they had all of their freshly baked bread and dessert stations.
I went up to the deli counter and I ordered $ 75 worth of different cold cuts and the staff did not mind at all that I did not call my order in before coming in. they actually had two different employees getting my order ready I was very impressed by that. This publix is extremely clean and well taken care of.
They do have a full wine and beer selection in the corner of the store in the front. Another interesting thing about the store is you can actually get live bait here for fishing. Really other than that it’s a typical grocery store.
Overall this store is a great grocery store. The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating. The store is extremely clean and well taken care of. Every time that I am in Melbourne I will continue to go back to this publix. I recommend hitting up the soup shop next-​door before going grocery shopping.

Why publix has just poor quality of produce; limited fresh fruits, vegetables, garlic, etc?

I only go to publix for the things I cant find elsewhere. I enjoy their bakery. This location is bigger than others. Prices seem better than ither locations.
