Brother Juniper’s, definitely the best breakfast in Memphis and we are going to say the best breakfast place anywhere. Words to describe the taste, Delicious, Insane, Amazing. Breakfast should never taste that good. I couldn’t stop thanking them for the food. I’m from Texas and I promise I will be back. Hopefully I can eat there again on my way back home.

My first time here. Beware this place is small so come at a decent time. We only had to wait about 10 mins which was ok. The waitress we had was very friendly but I forgot her name. Nice variety on there menu & the prices was very decent. Only thing about this place is that it took awhile for our food to come. Other then that the food was excellent & the home fries were so good. Seasoned to perfection.

Hands down, the Best breakfast in Memphis. I always get the touristy San Diegan but it is so delicious. Their potatoes remind me of the ones my grandmother made. Get there super early or be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour.

I hear it’s a decent place to eat. I’ll never find out though due to 45 minute + wait times and terrible hours.

This place was on the must eats list for a recent trip to Memphis due to(1) the Unilocal rating and(2) recommendations from friends. We arrived about noon and the wait was approximately an hour. We decided to wait. After waiting an hour, we ordered the lemon cranmuffin(yummy) and coffee. I ordered the Juniper Benedict(tasty) and my friend ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich(absolutely delicious). The potatoes served with his sandwich were also incredibly tasty. My grits were just grits. The service was fantastic. While I would have to eat several more places to say this is truly the BEST breakfast place in Memphis, it certainly left a good impression.

Service was quick as ever once we got seated. My party waited maybe 15mins. The food was excellent would definitely return to try something else, like the grits!

Brother Junipers is as most other reviews state a great breakfast. I don’t go very often though as service can be a bit off and the place is super tight and cramped. The food however has always been very good and if it didn’t take so long to eat here I would go way more often.

Delicious open faced omelettes. Definitely takes a minute to get your food but pretty freaking delicious. Coffee is meh.

They take in homeless cups and use them for customers. You never know what cup you might get when you order a delicious latte. Service and staff are very friendly. Chelsey was super sweet. Service was fast and food was hot and delicious. We split the mamas little special and had a homemade, hot out of the oven cinnamon roll, that was absolutely delicious!

Thank goodness to Unilocal for helping me out while on Vaca. I just had one of the best omelets I ever had in my LIFE. Came here for breakfast this morning. Got the Greek omelet with cheese grits & a biscuit. My wife got the same thing. She finished the entire dish which is a sign because she only finish a whole dish if it’s amazing. The omelet was phenomenal. Eggs were perfectly cooked, the gyro meat inside was well seasoned with the perfect amount of feta & mozzarella cheese. I didn’t too much care for the cheese grits that had garlic in it but that’s quite alright. I understand that since I’m from Chicago, northerners eat cheese grits much different than southerners(I put sugar in my grits). The coffee was great too. It was very strong, which I love. Not watered down like most coffee in Chicago. My moms got the Philly cheese steak potatoe plate which also tasted great, amazing flavors. Next time I’m in Memphis, I’ll be sure to swing a visit here for breakfast.

If you have a full appetite and love omelettes, you can’t go wrong with Brother Junipers. We got here a little later than usual and ended up wishing 45 minutes. The food is definitely worth it. We had coffee at the coffee bar located near the dining area while we waited for our seats. The coffee bar tender was super helpful and very fast-she’s a pro! I ordered a hungry tiger-an omelette with sautéed tomatoes, green onions, bacon, ham, sausage, feta, cheddar, mozzarella, and Swiss cheeses-all smothered in a bed of three eggs open faced. All of this is accompanied by a bowl of cheese grits and toast. I recommend this place to anybody who loves breakfast. Get here early though, they close at 1:00 p.m. and the line grows large past 9:00 a.m.

Heard this place gets packed fast and no wonder because there is very limited seating. I like how each coffee mug was different for lattes and had the mocha latte which was delicious. My husband had the Carmel and mocha. 3.50 a piece. Barista suggested the hungry tiger(13.95) since it was my first time which my husband got as well. The open face omelet was delicious, strong flavors which I could only eat half of. Biscuit was delicious with blueberry jam and apple butter. Cheesy grits I’m not too big a fan of. They tasted like straight pure cheese which wasn’t bad but didn’t settle well with my stomach with a few bites. I feel the environment is diner like though wish they had more seating after 45 minutes of waiting as well as more parking. Hope to go back soon and try some other dishes!

The food portions were huge. I tried the lamb gyro omelet and it was delicious! Some of my house fries were burnt but everything else was very satisfying. I like the crown it attracts. It’s like I’m not in Memphis. It was like I was in San Diego or something. the smell of coffee here was very different. Aroma was enough to wake you up! It took me a while to order because there were soooooo many choices to choose from!

I met my sister and coworker there and thankfully they were already seated. It was rather busy at 8AM on Sunday. Our food took a little bit to come out, longer than we wanted. However, the foods’ deliciousness made up for the wait. I got the P6 which was the potato dish with bacon, cheddar cheese, and sour cream. It came with a biscuit with home made apricot jelly. The portion was very generous and I had to take half to go.

I so wish we had the time to thoroughly enjoy the whole experience!!! We were in a hurry so we ate and ran, however the food was delicious! The coffee is strong! The maple syrup is real! The Carmel pecan Belgian waffle was crazy good! Bacon crisp! Egg cooked to perfection! This location is a true hole in the wall! We found it through an AirBnB suggestion. Would have driven right past this gem had we not known. The owners and servers are remarkable and friendly. Service was quick and if I could have fit a cinnamon roll into my body I would have surely ordered one. They bake homemade bread… its divine! Honestly, you don’t need to grab breakfast anywhere else… ever…again…in Memphis!!! Park across the street because street parking is minimal but get there early because when the breakfast crowd rolls in… you’ll be in line!

The sign outside of this place reads«Best Breakfast in Memphis.» Well they have my vote. The staff was very pleasant but the hostess were young and could use more training on service overall a very good experience. When you arrive you have the option of sitting at the coffee bar and ordering coffee while you wait. The coffee mugs are all different as if Brother Juniper’s had been garage saling, lot of kids, or had a lot of traveling friends that always brought mugs back. This gives the place a homie feel, like you went to visit family. There other elements of the business that recycled also like the seasonings on the table and jellies.
My breakfast companion and I had the open face omelettes. This is when your toppings cover your eggs not stuffed inside. The Hungry Tiger and the Florotine was ordered. Hungry Tiger was full of the meats and cheese. My omelette was the Florotine which has spinach, green onions, red pepper, and drizzle with a pesto sauce. DELICIOUS!!! Get the home fries!!! This was the freshest home fries that I have every had. I am not sure if I could go back to this place try anything else although looking at the tables around me the other menu items looked good too. All the breads here are homemade. Try anyone of them. Goooddddd!!! A must try place for those who visit Memphis and need a good homestyle breakfast. The parking is limited to street parking and a shared parking lot across the street which has other eating places so pay attention to the signs as there are several towing areas.

It was pretty good spot for breakfast! I’m in awe because I never knew it was located so close to campus. It’s a small, little diner so the tables were a little close together, but it didn’t bother me too much. I enjoyed my open face omelette, it was a lot of food for a cheap price. It even came with cheese grits and a choice of biscuits or toast. The cheese grits were very garlicky, but I’m not a fan of grits so it didn’t upset me. It was different and I’m glad I got to experience it with friends. If you’re in the area, give them a try before breakfast time is over ;)

Arrived before the breakfast rush, which starts later on Saturday than bright and early. Seated fairly quickly and had coffee in hand before too much time passed. The servers were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. My sunny-side up eggs were perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. The sausage was also appropriately cooked(not overdone) and went well with the eggs. The home fries were everybody’s favorite and were slightly crispy, not burned and delicious. The restaurant was very crowded by the time we left, so my advice is to get there before you think you need to be there! Note to Readers — I wrote this review before I looked at the Unilocal!reviews commenting about the awesomeness of the home fries. They are the real deal!

Awesome! Café Eclectic & Brother Juniper’s are the best breakfast in town hands down! Healthy options.
