Build-A-Bear Workshop

Every parent should bring their small children to get a customized stuffed animal. The folks here make it a fun experience for everyone and provide a good selection of animals and accessories. That little extra bit of personalization of the animal, just makes your kid love that animal just that much more.
The animals seem good quality, BABW will also fix/​service them later as well. You don’t come here for the prices, you come for the memories. If you want a cheap stuffed animal, go somewhere else. If you want something special, that’s all they sell here.

Whoever invented Build-​A-​Bear deserves a medal. Seriously. This place is a child’s dream come true. If you are unfamiliar with this place, basically your child can walk in, choose from about 35 different unstuffed animals, then proceed to stuff it, make a wish on its heart, sew it up, bathe it and pick out clothes to adorn it. At the end, they get to print up a birth certificate and say a pledge to take good care of their newly acquired animal, then carry him/​her home in a cardboard house.
The staff at Build-​A-​Bear is horribly patient and good with kids. Lord know I wouldn’t have the qualities required to work a 10 hour shift inside this establishment. It is normally packed to the gills with kids eagerly awaiting creating their animal of choice. They have a HUGE selection of animals to choose from– bears, rabbits, monkeys, dogs, cats, frogs, etc. It also seems that they have more than tripled their clothing selection in the last few years since they opened.
I took my friend’s daughter here today, and she had a blast. In the end, she made a brown bear with a pair of panties, a t-​shirt, boots, a headband and bows (she’s 3, let us not discuss the bear’s wardrobe choices) for $ 30 bucks. Not at all costly for the fun of the experience. Make sure to take your camera as you’ll definitely wanna capture you’re cutie’s expressions as they get to experience everything.
