The CNBC Store in the Memphis Airport is just like most of the sundry stores in other airports. It is stocked with everything you might have forgotten to pack or need last minute before heading to your plane. If you have been in one of these stores, you have been to all of them, it seems. This store does have a couple of highlights though! Here they are: 1. Super duper friendly sales people. I met the funniest guy working the counter. He was like a big bear hug. I wanted to bring him back home so I could have a new BFF here in town. It was super slow when I was here since it was in the early morning, so we had the store to ourselves. We chitchatted for at least 15 minutes about all sorts of gossipy stuff. It was a fun way to spend time in the airport. 2. The store is actually pretty big and not at all crowded. A lot of airport stores seem so cramped, especially if you are lugging around your carry-on suitcase and bag along with you. This one is big enough that you aren’t bumping into end caps and knocking stuff over. 3. The prices for the OTC medicine was much cheaper than the Hudson News store. Too bad I found this out after spending $ 10 on some dramamine at HN and finding it for $ 6 at CNBC. Oh well, when you need motion sickness medicine, you will pay anything for it! So if you need to pick something up before your flight out of Memphis, check out the CNBC store first!

Is it such a chore to smile and hand me my items while I’m juggling my bags, or are your text convoys more important? This is why I would hate to live in Memphis. Attitude. I mean, the store itself is clean, well stocked, and very nice. I like the travel supplies like the socks, earplugs, and luggage locks. A wide arrange of Elvis memorabilia is also present here. Just need to step it up with the service. Geez!

It’s your usual airport magazine, snacks, candy, and miscellaneous token momentos. Okay selection and prices, again for airport«convenience» stores.

My husband and I wanted to kill time while waiting for our flight so we decided to stop into the NBC store. We bought some souvenirs and magazines to take on the plane. They had Memphis clothing, magnets, BBQ sauce etc… lots of cute stuff. When we brought our items to the register the sales clerk noticed my husbands military I.D. so she gave us a discount. I liked that we didn’t have to ask she just did it. I appreciated how she went that extra step even though she didn’t have to.
