I grew up on this B.B.Q. this food is the best food ever. The awards speak for themselves. Yes they have a room full of awards. I am personally addicted to the B.B.Q. & spaghetti. They get a billion stars not just five.

This place is small and a bit dumpy looking when you walk by. Case in point, some of their tables point right into the storage area so you see cleaning supplies and the like. Not a great first impression. And as I always say you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression. But still my daughter and I figured we’d try it. It’s not so busy, so we were able to get a better seat easily. Staff was friendly. Oddly even after we ordered they didn’t take the menuS off the table. And it’s a little two top able so a little cluttered. Food was good but also worth 4 stars. Big portion. We could share the pork shoulder sandwich. Loaded with bbq sauces. Maybe a little too much but good. Coleslaw was quite good. A nice addition for our plate. We’re giving it a 4 since it’s the airport. But really for airport food, this place could get a 7 on 1 – 5 scale

Was it the greatest food ever? No way. But huge portion of really good chopped pork shoulder. It was super tasty my sandwich was huge. It was easily shareable for two people and I’m stuffed now that I’m done. The coastal was good and I made sure to put on my sandwich half. It really helped with the flavor of the whole thing. Whole place is a little dumpy. But the Memphis airport is not so big so you don’t get a lot of choices anyway. The lady working was super friendly. I hope not to be in this airport again soon but if I was I would stop here again

My boyfriend and I decided to stop by to see what the hype was all about here. I suggested that we order the Sampler Platter because it gave us a variety of choices. The platter consisted of cole Slaw, baked beans, 2 slices of white bread(should be replaced for corn bread or muffins instead), pork & beef ribs, hot link sausage, bbq spaghetti(seriously?), brisket & pork shoulder. More than enough for the both of us. All of the meats were really good and full of smoked flavor. The hot link sausage and the ribs were my favorites. Wasn’t too fond of the cole slaw because I like my slaw with more of a vinegar base and the bbq spaghetti didn’t make the faves list as well. It was tolerable but no. Baked beans were bold and full of flavor. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience and we’d certainly come back!

I never give a review this low, but this place is pretty weak even for an airport restaurant. Ordered the Bar-B-Q turkey salad with ranch dressing. Yes, I know I should have gotten something more traditional, but it shouldn’t be on the menu if they can’t do it right. The turkey was great, the lettuce was wilted and soggy, the bacon bits were imitation, and the dressing was prepackaged. Go to Lenny’s instead.

Zero stars would be better for this review. We ate at Ray’s world Famous Barbecue on Thursday it was awesome!!! Unfortunately Rays is closed on Mondays. What we tried at Neely’s was over cooked ribs and dry chicken with a vinegar tasting sauce poured over It. We tried two sides, potato salad and baked beans I could of sworn they came from Bushes canned beans and Kroger’s deli although you expect that taste from them. Neely’s is located in Southhaven just south of Memphis in an old Pizza Hut building. The employees at Neely’s acted like they wanted to be anywhere but there. That should have been our warning to go! Also they have a drive up window for barbecue which came with the old Pizza Hut building. Good barbecue is not fast food. The stuff we tried today was awful. Don’t eat here.

I had the best meal during my trip to Memphis at this place, and it was in the airport! The whole meal cost lest than a drink at any other airport restaurant, and it was home cooked. Fried bologna sandwich, potato salad, sweet potato pie were all fresh and very good.

Passing through going home to Texas and decided to stop for some Memphis BBQ. It’s an old building that hasn’t changed in decades. It’s a scary part of town, but you forget all of that when you eat the ribs. The ribs are some of the best I’ve had. I ate my ribs and forgot about the sides. My husband got the rib tips and we both loved them!

Just horrible… got a bbq salad with pork. It came out in 5 mins(that’s what the 1 star is for). It was shredded pork that was all dried out, but hot, so it wilted the iceberg lettuce. There was almost nothing else in the salad except Bacos, yes Bacos! I know that gross taste and texture. Definitely not returningd

Outstanding ribs and sides. I visit rib places when I travel throughout the US, Interstate is in my top 3!

This place was spectacular, even without being airport food. For an airport option, definitely get your fix of tomato style bbq ribs. The bakes beans are out of this world. Portions are HUGE and service is immediate. Rates up there with any other bbq pork ribs I’ve had. Just wonderful.

I would rather pay $ 5 to chew on an old ladys chin mole than eat this ever again. A pure disgrace to a city that prides itself on bbq that doesn’t taste like Llamas genitalia

I was in Memphis for the weekend, got to the airport early so I can pick a order of bologna sandwiches(3 orders to go) plus a bbq pork sandwich. The last couple years I found this place in the airport, and I’ve been addicted ever since. This visit, I went to the food court then was told they moved to the other side of the airport, so i had to go search for restaurant. I didn’t care because its worth the mission. Got to the location, sat down and placed my order. The two ladies that were working that day were both sitting at a table playing on a iPad and the other was looking through magazines. I felt as though I had to beg the lady to do her job. I still remained polite and waited on her. The other lady kept yelling she’s so tired. Two times I saw them get up to get the food from the kitchen, and the other lady that kept yelling she was«sooo tired» and she kept yawning over the food she got from the kitchen. Altogether, the food was okay. On all three sandwiches, the meat was hard and dry. I wish the customer service was better. Adleast If i could get decent service.

Layover at Memphis, TN. I had to get me some bbq ribs. This place seemed like one of two locations serving bbq at the airport. I chose it simply because it was closest to my gate. To my pleasant surprise the place was decent and good. The service is excellent. The food(not the best) but dang, I really enjoyed their bbq spaghetti(I know how disgusting that sounds to some of you. I had my doubts, but now I’m glad I tried it. It was awesome~

It was Sunday so there weren’t a lot of eating options for someone passing through and not trying to get too deep into Memphis. It’s in sort of a sketchy spot in town, but it’s on the outside of Memphis so that’s a little expected. The pork shoulder sandwich was great with the onion rings. I’d drop by again when passing through.

Wow, this was some pretty decent bbq at an airport food court. It could have also been the fact that I was starving after being stranded in this airport for 5hrs but, that’s a different story. I ordered the half rack of ribs with beans and potato salad as sides(~$ 14). They were delicious! The ribs were tender and tasty. There was a bit too much bbq sauce for my liking but the sauce itself was great. And I’m not even a huge fan of bbq sauce. It was tangy with a bit of kick(not too spicy for my taste buds, but a fellow traveler thought it was spicy). The potato salad was good, nothing much to brag or complain about. The beans were pretty good as well. They cook it with a little bit of meat(not sure what kind– which sorta bothered me), but it tasted surprisingly good! This actually makes me wish that I left the airport for some real TN bbq. Maybe next time I’ll actually plan a trip here. Overall, if you can’t get out of the airport for some real food, this is a good place to stop by.

How good does a foil-wrapped BBQ sandwich from an airport food stand have to be to get five stars? Hobbled by the surliest service imaginable, how succulent must the pulled pork be to merit that elusive fifth star? Priced dangerously close to the $ 10 mark, how do these barkers in league with the TSA give me a single sandwich served with bad attitude, no drink and no side still get five stars? Answer: It’s Memphis. The sweet tea and Al Green are right there, between the bread. Apparently there are two places to get it: Concourse B Rotunda(6:30 am — 7:30 pm) and by Gate B 14(7:30 am — 7:30 pm).

This place is an example of marketing genius. They reel you in with aromas of succulent syrupy sweet barbeque knowing full well you have been on a plane snacking on peanuts for the last few hours. They sure got me. Like a fool I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. First off it was huge, which would have been good if the taste was better. The pork was dry which was moderately fixed by the extra sauce they give you. But no sauce could fix all the little bones I bit into while eating this sandwich. Almost chipped a tooth on the bone fragments! Wtf? Do not feed this sandwich to small kids, could easily be a choking hazard. Overpriced, mediocre BBQ. Plus, Miss thang working the cashier seemed to get an attitude when I didn’t leave a tip when I signed the credit card receipt. Didn’t say thank you or anything. Maybe if I had tipped I’d have gotten a sandwich worth the 9 $ I paid

The pulled pork was good. The potato salad was ok. The cole slaw was super yummy!!! It was a little spicy and hecka addictive. There were lots of different items to choose from on the menu. I really wanted to try many of them, but I am just one person so I had to make due just being a creeper, gazing longingly at other customers’ heaping plates of bbq goodness. The employee who helped me was wonderful, and offered suggestions when I stood, like a lump, in front of her in an indecisive stupor. She also worked nonstop between customers, cleaning, organizing, and greeting potential customers. While she worked, there were four other employees watching. One on a stool, and three others standing around chatting. Then another employee, from the kitchen, came out front just long enough to grab a bag of chips from the counter and popped it right open – ooookay, gotta love the freebies at work *sarcasm*. But I liked the food and the young lady who helped me was wonderful. There was plenty of seating available.
