So I had an interesting visit here. I ordered the three strip fill up box. The strips were a little in the small side, biscuit was delicious, cookie was good, now the mashed potatoes were nasty. Now they normally have dry and thick potatoes which is okay because of the gravy. I have never seen gravy thicker than the potatoes. It was just awful. That being said, when I got to the window I gave my money and waited 3 minutes for my food, I then had to wait an additional 3 minutes for my change. I feel like they were hoping I would forget my change as long as I had to wait. I didn’t appreciate having to ask for my money.

Navigating the parking lot can be pretty tricky as it is very narrow. The asphalt could stand to be repaved as well. I’d like to see KFC add more vegetables to their menu(broccoli, spinach, asparagus maybe?). I’m a fan of the grilled chicken, which I’m glad they have. Where else can you go and get grilled/baked chicken as fast food at 9PM.

As someone who is frequently let down by fast food restaurants, this place was a welcome change. Juan was excellent behind the counter. He greeted me when I walked in the door, took my Internet coupon no problem and restored my faith in KFC.

I hate giving 1 star reviews. I hate writing them and usually feel a hundred shades of awful handing them out, but this place has it coming. I’m normally not a fan of fast food chains, but pregnancy will do odd things to a girl. I’ve been to this midtown location twice and that is enough for me. Not that any of the fast food restaurants in the midtown area are anything to talk about. Really if anything their lack of customer service just pushes more customers to local establishments and restaurants. I’m all for that. The complete and utter disregard for the customer at this KFC is appalling. On both occasions I left the drive-thru window with my jaw in my lap. It is beyond clear that the employees don’t care one way or another whether your order is correct, delivered in a timely or friendly fashion, hot or sanitary. I won’t get into the logistics of what went down on either occasion as it really isn’t relevant and we’ve seen enough of those rant reviews. I will say that if KFC as a whole had any idea how ridiculous the staff of this location was, they’d fire them all and start from scratch. In reality, that is what this place needs in order to ever earn my business again. Cravings or not– I won’t be back.
