The food is so good. The service is so bad, seriously horrible, I had to cancel my order and leave. It seems the staff is in way over their heads. The management desperately needs assistance.

We visited on a recent Saturday evening for a special Comedy show. At only $ 5 admission, it was a nice evening. I hope they continue to do these We did not order dinner but can’t wait to come back to try the Pizza.

I have ordered delivery, carry out and have dined in on numerous occasions with these peeps mainly because they are only a few blocks away. Terribly inconsistent in regards to service, time needed and just a general disregard for their customers. Shocking that they are in business. Food is average at its best.

I’ve lived nearby for years and finally checked this place out after a worker gave me a convincing«shpeel”(sp?) I had the Bianca Bahn Mi sandwich and it was soooo good. Hummus is housemade and the tofu was marinated in something before being grilled. I had a house salad for my side and it was yummy mixed greens not bland iceberg. The portion was fairly large. I have half a sandwich left for later! ^.^ Full bar and friendly workers and owner. Happy hour starts at 4 and specials during Grizz games. Will be back for sure!

Great pizza at a fair price. Always very tasty. Make sure you try the vignone or the wild mushroom.

An hour-and-a-half delivery time for a box of raw garlic knots and a cold, undercooked cheese pizza. Good thing we didn’t order anything too adventurous. Best Sunday night ever!

There have been numerous restaurants inhabiting this building over the last couple decades. It seems none of them have survived very long. I hope this one lasts a long time, because the pizzas are some of the best I’ve had in Memphis, easily beating Memphis Pizza Café. I’ve had«the Sears» and«the Carnivore» and both were near-perfect. They also have sandwiches(including vegetarian and vegan ones), salads, and pasta. The sandwiches are a little pricey for the size of them, but they are quite good. The location is sketchy but I haven’t felt unsafe there. They’ve recently added some trendy artwork to the walls, which looks nice. Now hopefully they will work on adding some music. It’s very quiet there.

All I can say is dayyuumm! I was very surprised at the quality and freshness of the food! I had the smoked honey hot wings and potato skins. ANDITWASDELIVEREDTOMYHOUSE! Just damn. My only complaint is that the wings might need just a drizzle more sauce as it was so good and they didn’t give me any silverware or napkins. Sad day because I hate washing dishes. :(other than that I highly recommend.

Orders are always accurate. Food is always fresh and carefully prepared. Staff is always attentive and considerate. This is my favorite local spot… hands down.

Went here on a whim and found the people very welcoming. On recommendation of the owner I tried the country club sandwich. Oh my! This is a really fine sammie when served on wheat toast. Normally I don’t eat dessert at lunch, but I sampled the cheesecake, and am I glad I did. Smooth, creamy and rich. Yayus!

This is a gem in the Crosstown Area — Octavia and Jeremiah have a great menu with fresh ingredients — the pizzas, sammies and salads are amazing! The menu changes regularly to keep up with the seasons and what’s great, but don’t worry, your favorites will likely stay around. While you’re there, be sure to check out the vegan cupcakes from Pink Diva Cupcakery as well. There is a new«old school» cheesecake that I just had yesterday and I think it might be the best I’ve had in Memphis — and that’s saying something! Be sure to stop into this great neighborhood spot, where you’ll feel like a friend and eat like a special guest!

Went here twice during bbq festival. Got pizzas both times. Definitely go with the make your own pizza. Both their bbq sauce and honey gold are outstanding. Had egg thrown on both times. Outstanding. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the afternoon help needs guidance. She is lost. Night help is on it. Hope this place makes it.

The pizza is absolutely fantastic(I’m from NYC and was pleasantly surprised by the pizza here). Rather large portions for the price. Nice thin crust with the perfect amount of crunch. The place isn’t too fancy, but if you’re looking for delicious food and quick service for cheap — this is it.

I second the previous review about high prices for the amount of food. My roommate and I thought we would give this place a try. We placed an order for delivery and it took almost two hours to get our food. After an hour and a half, the restaurant called me to tell me they were outside, they were not. I verified that the address was correct and it was. It took another 30 min to get our food from then. When we got our food, it was freezing cold, not even the slightest bit warm. We had to reheat them in the oven. The portobello melt was bland and what we thought was going to be a fresh delicious sandwich, ended up being soggy portobello mushrooms, 4 pieces of spinach, and a little goat cheese on a huge(relative to the amount of food on the sandwich) piece of stale tasting bread.

Pizza was stellar, service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere left something to be desired however. Their website does not really give you a good feel for the ambience of this locale. Dimly lit, very few windows, and very bare bones-simple. Not a «date place» in my opinion and certainly not a pre/post fancy night out spot — BUT the pizza is priced very well, the food is solid, and the service was great. 4 stars on food, 2 on locale = 3 overall.

My husband and I have been to this location for all incarnations since lupe and bea’s. LOVED it! We had the pepperoni bread sticks and the wild mushroom pizza. Really good!!! We enjoyed a couple of ghost river beers and went home happy. We’ll be back

This new restaurant and bar is doing its best in a quiet little midtown corner is definitely worth a try. I live just a few blocks from here so I’ve been in a few times both just for food and drinks. The food is dope. No way around it. Not only is it solid bar food, but it tastes awesome. The folks that run it have lots of experience cooking at the swank casinos spots in MS and they are committed to good food. The BEST pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in Memphis.(Note: I am relatively new to Memphis, but I take pulled pork super seriously) They have all kinds of inventive pizzas also. From the dough to the toppings, I was impressed. Some friends and I went in the other night and we had the pepperoni sticks, which were an amazing treat after a night of drinking. The folks working are always nice and happy to see you come in. It does tend to be a little quiet save for a few regulars. They will happily change the TVs for you if you want to catch a game or something. They are just doing beer now and have Wiseacre available, so that’s good. I’m more of a whiskey drinker, so that’s the only drawback for me at the moment. They are working on the liquor license. As much as I love the Hi-Tone(just one block over) and the Hi-Que fella, I do appreciate that this place is smoke free and just has some awesome food. Would really like to see it come into its own and do well. They do open mic/karaōke/poetry nights if you’re into that also. And they deliver!

After seeing a lot about it on social media, I decided to stop in for lunch. Octav ia, the chef/proprietor couldn’t have been more welcoming. the menu is fairly straight forward with appetizers, sandwiches, salads and pizza. I decided on a non-traditional pizza, the turkey bacon club. It was delicious. because the dough cooked with a weird bubble in it, Octavia wanted to remake it. I said not to worry about it, so she comped the pizza for me and encouraged me to come back for a «better» experience. I’m not sure how it could have been better.
