My FAVORITE memphis restaurant hands down. The BBQ tofu nachos are amazing! If your a vegetarian or pescetarian go for this! I also love the alpha-beta pita! It’s great bar food and a great atmosphere! My meat eating boyfriend loves the club, chicken fingers, and we both love the mozzarella sticks!

This place never lets me down. The mushroom and jerk chicken quesadillas are amazing, not to mention the sweet potato fries & Chipotle hummus. That’s all I have tried and I hear everything else is great as well.

Big fan. In town on Friday, out on Sunday. I went in twice that weekend. Wasn’t very busy either time I stopped. Super close to my hotel. And apperantly«on» campus. Super friendly bar staff, with recommendations as well and info on the town. Of course you have your brew selections on draft and bottels. I too was raved to about the BBQ tofu nachos. And Yes they are everything I was told they would be. Huge plate. Party size. Haha. Leftovers for breakfast b4 I caught my plane the next morning. And dang it I want to go back to TN if for nothing else a BBQ tofu burrito. I can only imagine. Maybe it’ll be different at different times of the day/week but I really enjoyed myself.

Went for brunch, the Egg Benedict was fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive. It’s March(previous review was October). Consistently awesome, staff is so friendly. We brunch there weekly.

I usually order one of the following each time I visit Tracks: — BBQ tofu nachos(yes, this exists) — BBQ tofu burrito(which is all the nacho goodness wrapped in a burrito and covered with cheese) — Vegetarian chili — Alpha Beta Pita I deviated this once and ordered the BBQ tofu sandwich without slaw because it isn’t my thing and was a bit disappointed because I didn’t realize how dry the sandwich would be without slaw. Nevertheless, the tofu was perfectly cooked and smothered in spicy sauce, which was yummy with my sweet potato fries. I do agree with other reviewers that the service has changed a bit since my college days, but I will probably be back. I need my BBQ tofu and my college nostalgia.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great location! I literally ate enough to feed a family of four(by myself) all for a little over $ 20, just to give you an idea…

I would not have survived as a student at the UoM without this place. Its a bit divey, but very comfortable, and they remodeled their patio and accessory room. Lots of big TV’s so its a great place to watch sports. They used to have the best prices on pitchers anywhere, but sadly, pitchers are no longer being served. Still good, local beers and an interesting southwestern flair in their food. I never liked tofu before I tried the BBQ tofu quesadilla and the burritos are also quite filling. The servers and staff are all very friendly and helpful. It is just the perfect college bar with a low key atmosphere, so you can bring your work or set up with friends to watch a game.

This place is great for college students, locals, and out-of-towners. Food is awesome, beer is cold, and atmosphere is laid-back. Visit here and you won’t regret.

R P’s seems to be slipping. Our last visit was lackluster. The restaurant was not clean and our server, though friendly and somewhat accommodating seemed to be more interested in chatting with friends than attending our table. I always order the R P burger cooked medium but it always comes out medium well. This time I ordered medium rare in hopes of getting a medium burger. No, it seems they don’t remember how to cook a burger other than medium well. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t what I ordered. This disappointing visit will be my last.

This is one of my favorite places to go in memphis. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and I’ll be coming back many more times in the future. The atmosphere and the staff are great! The food is MUCH better than other bars and they have some amazing vegetarian options as well(bbq tofu nachos). Excellent brunch and a damn good Bloody Mary. Also kid friendly if you go during the day.

Blah. Maybe my expectations of this place are exceedingly high. I use to love RP tracks when I went to U OF M. My faves were the buffalo chicken quesadillas, spinach dip, crispy fried chicken salad, nachos, and burritos. But lately the presentation and food isn’t worth the 45 minute drive(to and from my apartment) it’s really upsetting to place to go orders and not get the items I ask for especially when I tip 20% on a meal that didn’t meet my expectations or atleast come with the stuff in the menu description. Bring back the RP tracks from 4 – 6 years ago, please.

This is a three star place but not a bad three star. Service can be a bit spotty but most folks working are nice and the food is decent. Just a pretty good local bar and they do a pretty good brunch on the weekends. They have several tvs to watch games.

I’ve been a grad student in Memphis for 4 years now and this place is like a second home. I rarely miss a pint night. They made several changes to their prices and menu over the past couple of years that alienated many, including myself for a while. I used to go there at least 3 or 4 times a week and now I only go there for pint night. It seems like they definitely wanted to cater to a different crowd. Nonetheless, the waiters/waitresses are wonderful and their food is delicious. They usually have a good variety of beers on tap. Highly recommend the place if you’re looking for somewhere to chill, do some work, and hang out with friends.

I came here recently for the first time for a good friend’s birthday brunch on a Sunday morning. I ordered chicken and waffles and a hot chocolate. The chicken and waffles were not bad, but not as good as Local’s chicken and waffles. The hot chocolate tasted like they dumped a packet of Swiss Miss in hot water, if I wanted that, I could have just made it myself when I got home. We sat on the nice enclosed porch and had it pretty much all to ourselves because we were a pretty large party. The service wasn’t that great though, considering they actually weren’t that busy. It took to long to order our food, The food took too long to come, and it took 3 times to get out bill correct. I would give it 2 ½ stars if I could.

Tracks BBQ tofu is still delish but wanted to add that there are a few more vegan, or veg options, like a marinated tofu sandwich or a sort of BLT with coconut bacon. So if you’re not into BBQ you can try one of these yummies.

I love the food at tracks. There are so many veg options here that I actually struggle to pick something. I went with the BBQ tofu sandwich tonight, that is always delicious. Their beer selection is ok but it’s pricey. Some of the employees are friendly, some not so much. It’s nice that it is so close to campus and open late.

Sooo this is when I wish Unilocal had half stars because I think 3 ½ is just about right. This is definitely a local bar and I was super impressed when the bartender, Mallory, greeted everyone by name and asked how their day was. And I loved that she asked me mine — that hasn’t happened in forever! And everyone in the bar seemed to know one another. Definitely a good sign when a place has regulars that know each other. I initially thought it would be all/only college kids(since it is right by the University of Memphis campus) but there were quite a few late 20s/older 30s in there. The reason for my lukewarm feelings? I just didn’t think the food was that great. I was really excited before my arrival because people were gushing about the food… but the fried cheese was just ok… so were the onion rings and fries. Nothing to write home about. And my club sandwich? It went home in a doggie bag… I think we all know what that means. And I didn’t think the atmosphere was that impressive. Yeah the name if the place is cute since it is right by the railroad tracks but there isn’t that much personality. The pluses? Some pretty awesome martinis and shooters. Seriously delicious and why I leaned towards 4. The appletini was delightful! Maybe I was just there on an off night food wise but since it is a dive bar right by my house, chances are I’ll be back to try again. Until next time…
