Went today for lunch because Bonefish doesn’t open till 4 during the week. Read the above reviews and figured people must just be impatient. The reviews were spot on. Service was good, but SLOW! To get the drink order took about 5 minutes, then about 10 to bring the drinks, 10 to get our order, another 10 to get salads, and then at least another 20 – 25 to get our food. Our 1 hour lunch turned into 1:45!!! If you have the time, go, otherwise, go fishing, start a fire and cook yourself — it will be faster.

I went here a few weeks ago with a coworker for dinner. We are both servers and perhaps a little too observant and critical of service but here is what happened. We were sat by a very nice hostess. That is where the good part of the experience ends. The building was quite empty but for some reason 10 – 15 min go by and we have yet to be greeted. The hostess that sat us came to our table and took our drink order, she was very prompt. She told us our server«should«be with us shortly We received our beverages that the hostess had brought us and after ten more min we still saw no sight of our sever. The hostess returns and proceeds to take our entire order. The sever finally shows up to drop of the appetizer which were the muscles(delicious). After that the server just piled all of our food we ordered on us at once. He forgot the salad and our soup was cold, I returned the soup only to be presented with another cold bowl. He rushed us by forcing to go boxes and then bringing our desert in a to go box that wasn’t requested. With all that being said service was slow(the server all together was awful). Food was great aside from the manner in which it was served. The hostess was amazing. The bill was 50 and since the server did basically nothing we tipped him 5 and the hostess 8

First and last time I’ll ever go to a Red Lobster. Gag! The service was shoddy, and the food left so much to be desired. Honestly! Who fries calamari with broccoli!!!

Has Red Lobster improved as it’s own company? Yes I believe so. Darden did nothing for this franchise other than muck it up with worthless dishes and bad promotions. Now it seems they are going back to the original set up — focus on fish. I had a lobster pizza that was pretty tasty. I love basil and tomatoes so much! Also the margarita with the grand marnier sidecar was great. Not $ 10 worth but good.

This is a really good red lobster. I ordered with my mom and we each got salads and the service we got was great! I had A really friendly waitress. The building was however very cold. Well done!

Eric S. Is right. Same experience waiting quite a while for a server to arrive in a not at all busy restaurant. Took out mom for a pre Mother’s Day lunch because there’s no way I’m going to her favorite restaurant(Red Lobster) on Mother’s Day. That being said, when he did wait on us he was a superstar! His name was Anthony and aside from being a fantastic server he treated my mom like a Queen which upped his tip above 20%. And the food was REALLY good. Perfectly cooked scampi, linguini, frozen lemonade, baked potato . Just really good which I know isn’t the best way to describe the food and certainly won’t get me Bizarre Foods but man… good! And if I were you and had a chance, ask for Anthony.

The food was good but the service was slow. Waited longer than expected for everything from getting seated, to ordering, getting my meal, and paying the check. Don’t think I will come back.

Service was great, contrary to the other reviewers. Typical RL with fresh fatty biscuits and delicious food.

Pretty typical Red Lobster. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, but it took 5 minutes for out waitress to take our drink order. And another 5 before the beverages arrived and she took our food order. She was very personable, but the first impression left a lot to be desired. The food came out of the kitchen very quickly. It was tasty, but nothing special. I’m sure we’ll eat here again… Red Lobster is always a safe bet.

Meh, it’s a Red Lobster. Nothing special. The food was on the heavy side and our waitress ignored our table even though there was barely anyone in her section.

I have visited this same location many times since their grand opening a few years ago. Their service has continued to be good, both with the hostesses and the servers. Their food has been consistent in taste which is a plus in my book. My only complaint is that there doesn’t seem to be a good flow plan of getting customers in and out of the restaurant. I say this because every time that I’ve gone, the wait has been 45 minutes or more; seriously no one wants to wait over 20 – 30 minutes for a table especially when they’re already starving and their taste buds are craving the food from the restaurant. It’s turn off to see people standing outside as if they are waiting to receive free food only to walk into the building to see that every seat that’s used for waiting to be seated is filled to the capacity. I understand that they are the only Red Lobster in the area but getting the customers in and out quickly w/o being rushed would eliminate a lot of the wait time. The only reason why I continue to go here even though the wait times are often ridiculous is because they are 100% better than the location on 64.

This place has terrible service. We had to wait for a table, even though the place was almost empty. Then we waited at least 5 minutes for a server to come take our drink orders. Another 5 minutes have already passed, and I still don’t have my water. Will not be back.

Hi my name is Lashundra Easton, and today I’m going to share my personal experience eating at Red Lobster Restaurant on Winchester in East Memphis. I really enjoyed the food, great customer service and the drinks. The people that works for Red Lobster have beautiful personalities they make sure you have garlic bread on the table and water before your meal is order. I would recommend Red Lobster to anyone who ask, this place is worth the money you spend to stomach crab legs, fish, lobster and plenty more. If you enjoy seafood-Red Lobster is the place to go! Great parking space. If you haven’t tried Red Lobster you must go! Enjoy!

Date of visit: 02−19−12 Time I had to wait: 0 Minutes. Luckily I was meeting friends who were already seated or it would have been a while, as the after church crowd was there in full effect. Appetizer: Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip [A creamy three-cheese blend with artichokes, spinach, Maine and langostino lobster, and seafood.] — OMG this stuff is so good! Had to restrain myself from gobbling up all of the piping hot Cheese Garlic Biscuits. And then the server had the nerve to sit out a fresh basket after we devoured the first. Main Course: Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin [medium] w/Shrimp. Also ordered asparagus and mashed potatoes — Everything was prepared perfectly; I have nothing but praise. Came with a salad, which was good but I hate it when they pour dressing all over your salad. I’d rather moderate my own flow. Drink: Sweet Iced Tea — Delicious Dessert: Did not order Service: The server was cordial and attentive, even with the restaurant being super crowded with people. Drinks never stayed empty long and he constantly asked if we needed anything. Overall Impression: Highly satisfied [& bloated].
