Fantastic selections of mid-​range jewelry.
A lot of silver pieces are fairly unique, quality are above average. They also have some fine jewelry and some modern pieces.
The lady at the shop are super nice, friendly. You can spend sometime here browsing and not receive any sales pitch.

Came here browsing while in Mendocino Village and found some cute presents for family! I thought some of the prices were a bit high, while others were quite low. It depends on what you’re looking for! Found some beautiful pendants made out of glass for $ 9.50 and earrings for $ 10. I found a BEAUTIFUL necklace for $ 125…just a bit too high. The woman (long blond hair) helping me was SOOO sweet! Very appreciative of her help!

Another must visit on every trip. Wonderful staff, knowledgeable on their inventory and super helpful to suggest if you need it. Be prepared to be in awe of all the sparklies, but to be able to find something that is $ 12 or $ 500 is fabulous. :-)

They have awesome unique sterling silver pieces and before I knew it, I was ringing up 3 pairs of earrings and a ring. No, none of them were gifts…

The lady behind the counter was very sweet and allowed me to peruse the cases, trying on ring after ring till I found the one that was JUST right. Overall, the shop is a pretty good size, has other non-​jewelry gift items as well, and has that whimsical light atmosphere without being cheesy.
With that being said, MEN: you may want to wait outside if this isn’t your bag or go down the street to the bookstore while you wait because the ladies will have a field day here. WOMEN: excuse the men, graciously.
Took off a star because some items, but very few, were a little bit more then I’ve seen elsewhere, though I obviously still shopped here!

Loved this place! Although I was not in the market for jewelry they had some amazing pieces and it was truly affordable. The items that stood out to me were the sterling silver filigree rings that had leaf and bird designs on them (come to think of it, I WISH I bought them now) and the necklaces and earrings that had real pressed flowers in them. I can see being a local and shopping here regularly for gifts and for myself. The staff seemed friendly. There were also some unique statues and small artwork for sale.
Well laid out and pretty eye-​catching displays. Plus, the name is just adorable!

A cute store with 2 large rooms and looks of baubles and trinkets for you to scour thru to your heart’s content. The prices are quiet reasonable. They have a few local Mendocino artist’s earrings (the ones with dog and cat earrings) and crystal earrings, gemstone earrings, etc. I didn’t see anything I liked but clearly other shoppers were enjoying themselves. They are also one of the business with a discount coupon in the Mendocino Traveler magazine you can pick up along the way or at the tourist office.

In my last review, I talked about my addiction to necklaces. People probably read it and chuckled, not realizing how bad my problem is.
During my last trip to Mendocino, I came into this store. I saw some great necklaces and started trying them on, despite not wanting to buy anything. I was sure I could be disciplined. I soon realized that wasn’t going to happen, but I could at least limit myself to one purchase. So I decided upon a great necklace by Firefly Jewelry (
). And I passed on another necklace that I really liked because I was trying to be good. No matter how much my friend tried to convince me that I needed both (enabler), I stayed strong and refused the second one.
Some people have moments of weakness. I have moments of strength like this. And they’re devastating to me. I should follow my whimsy — it suits me better.
So I’ve been thinking about that second necklace ever since I got back from that trip. It started to consume me. I would be getting dressed and picking out jewelry and I’d think about how that second necklace would be perfect. It’s made by Adaya (

Finally I knew I had to do something. I called the store and spoke with Roxanne, the owner, who is an absolute gem. I explained the necklace to her and she knew exactly which one I meant. She took my credit card information and charged me only $ 5 for shipping! That was two days ago and the package just arrived and I’m happy as a pig in shit!
A sweet dealer who delivers my fix? Can’t beat that.

Amazing shop full of fantastic, unique, jewelry — much of which is made locally, if I recall right. Check out the great pieces by Holly Yashi — the last time I was here there were some pieces which I have not seen on Holly Yashi’s own website.
Fantastic service too — normally, as a youngish guy who dresses fairly casually, I often don’t get taken seriously when I walk into a jewelry store and indicate that I’m in the market for several hundred dollars worth of women’s jewelry. Not here: Roxanne took the time to assist me properly, writing down the item number of each piece for me and shipping the pretties down to my mother in L.A. when I phoned in my order about two weeks later.
Everything about my experience was positive and everything about the transaction and shipment went smoothly and without incident. This is something that should be standard in any business which deals with larger sums of money, but sadly it’s not, and so whenever I’m gift-​hunting on the North Coast again, I know where to look first.

The only complaint I have is that it took a while (about 15 mins?) to pay for my jewelry. I asked 2 different sales reps if I could pay when they got the chance (tho’ I understand they were showing their goods to other customers), but was a bit annoyed since my time is valuable too, and i was *ready* to make them a sale.

Jewelry heaven! Mendocino Sandpiper is an amazing, AFFORDABLE jewelry shop that is located at the west end of Main Street. They carry a plethora of beautiful rings, earrings, pendants and tiny nicknack’s. I walked away with a beautiful silver-​art nouveau-​scroll ring. Perfection!
