Frank Pastore, DDS

I haven’t been to the dentist for quite a few years and thus was quite nervous. The facility was small, warm, and clean upon walking in. I made an appointment, and was seen immediately upon filling out paperwork, no waiting. After xrays were done with a very nice and gentle technician, Dr. Pastore came in right away to begin the exam. Again, i was pleasantly surprised. To my fear, I need a lot of work done. Dr. Pastore was taking his time examining each tooth and was very comforting. He recommended what needed to be done first and what could wait because my insurance was limited. He didn’t pressure me or guilt tripping me into doing anything I didnt need to do. He was very gentle, took time, and polite. I also have to make sure to mention the front desk woman, Elise. She was comforting, helpful, and took her time explaining all the finances to me. I felt like I was talking to a family member, not a receptionist! Thank you for everything! I will recommend anyone I know looking for dentist to your office. Its rare to find such an establishment these days that actually cared!

AH MAY ZING Dentist and staff! I LOVE getting my teeth cleaned and my check-​ups with Dr. Pastore and highly recommend his office for all your dental health needs. He is gentle, he explains what he’s doing as he goes along, he is skilled in root canals and crowns and your smile, short-​term and long-​term, is his main priority! I love it that Dr. Pastore and his staff makes me feel like I’m their only patient for the day, a VIP.

Dr. Pastore is the best dentist that I have ever been to. In the past my experiences with dentists were less than positive… In fact, because of one particular experience I didn’t go to the dentist for a good five years. I was that terrified.
For me Novocaine doesn’t work. That’s right, I can’t get numb from the anesthetic. It’s a genetic thing, my dad too doesn’t get numb. Most dentists believe very little their patients tell them. Dr. Pastore, however, actually listens! He didn’t doubt for one second about my body’s way of being «awesome» and saying «haha» in the face of Novocaine. He used Carbocaine and it made me numb!!! He does that cool wiggle trick on top of a topical anesthetic (numbing stuff) so the injection is painless! Painless! No pain. And my lips, cheeks and tongue weren’t even affected.
I saw Dr. Pastore for a second opinion because the dentist at Bradley Family Dental was less than par… I had a molar that kept throwing tantrums no matter that I brush, floss, gargle and tongue scrape! This bratty molar cared not at all and didn’t have any qualms causing me pain for over a year!!! (See paragraph one for explanation) Anyways Dr. Pastore gave me my second opinion and even though his office is out-​of-​network, I chose his office for my procedure because of how kind, patient, considerate and gentle he was. His team was also a deciding factor to get that misbehaving molar fixed.
During my appointment he numbed me up 100%! He was calm and explained what he was going to do. He understood that my Doctor recommended that I take my anti-​anxiety medication and didn’t judge me for being afraid. The first appointment for the procedure went super fast because I was at ease. It seems odd that a dental appointment would be easy but it was.
The next appointment I didn’t even need my anti-​anxiety medication! I sincerely appreciate not having a constant toothache. Dr. Pastore helped that molar know who’s boss and it’s now on its best behavior!
I’ve been under the weather so I haven’t been back for my next appointment for a cleaning but I will as soon as my bratty lungs decide to stop attacking each other! Maybe the good Doctor has a brother who is a Pulmanologist? Haha! One can dream. ;)
I definitely recommend this Dental office and Dr. Pastore!!! 5 stars for sure! I tell my local friends and family that they should switch to Dr. Pastore so whomever is reading this, I recommend that you make an appointment. :) Why? Because Dr. Pastore is worth his cost, his team is professional and kind, the office is CLEAN and because I said so, that’s why! :)

I called to seek information about scheduling an appointment for a check up for my 4yr old and 2yr old. This dentist has great reviews on Unilocal and was listed as a children’s /​family dentist so I was quite excited to call. When I called I was welcomed with a total slimy/​make it up (WHEEL & DEAL) as you go response regarding how much an exam, with xrays and cleaning would cost. I was asked multiple times about my insurance and felt degraded for responding that we have no dental insurance. The receptionist then responded with maybe it would be best if you had a visual exam since you do not have insurance. I politely responded that I was interested in a standard 6mth routine check up exam that includes evaluation, xrays, & cleaning. The receptionist had to use an adding machine to total up my fee from her «PRICE SHEET» Quoted price $ 281 per child minimum. WOWW!!!

Dr. Pastore and his staff are really friendly, funny and gentle when it comes to cleaning.
I always hated going to the dentist because I always dealt with painful cleaning and rude dentists but I was amazed at how great his staff is. They listen to you and make sure to explain everything they do.
They treat you like an individual person and not like another patient they have to deal with.

I am very happy that I made the switch to the dentist. I have been going to Menefee smiles for three years and not knowing any better I thought it was normal to pay outrageous prices for dental care. Guess what no deep cleaning needed for me. Menifee smiles they would not even clean my teeth unless I have a deep cleaning.

Big shout-​out for Dr. Frank Pastore and his excellent team. I had several prior bad experiences with dentists where I suffered a great deal of pain. When I went in to get my front tooth crown replaced, I was very anxious. However, Frank’s bedside manner put me at ease. He was calm and explained everything he was doing or going to do. He numbed me up so good I never felt any pain. My new front tooth looks great and is comfortable. Frank’s attention to detail and professionalism sets him apart from the competition. I would trust Frank with myself and my family for all future dental work.

I am very happy to write a review for Dr Pastore and his staff. I struggled with my teeth for years and had almost given up on ever smiling again. My husband was deployed overseas and I wanted to find a new dentist in hopes of surprising him on his return. After one visit I knew that Dr Pastore could give me the smile I always hoped for. He is gentle, caring and truly concerned about his patients well being. I am over the top happy with my new smile and my friends and family are amazed.

Dr. Pastore took over Donald Cogan’s practice. As a longtime client of Dr. Cogan, I was apprehensive about working with a different dentist, but he quickly turned me into a fan. Dr. Pastore is a skilled dentist, up to date with the latest techniques and makes you feel very much at ease. I recommend him highly.

Went in for a cleaning and to check out the office for future dental work. It was super clean, the staff was very friendly and Dr Pastore was very informative. I will be going back!

I came in to get some dental work finished after my deployment to Iraq. I called and got an appointment within the month. I am very pleased with the dental work done and the time it took to complete it. It’s a very friendly atmosphere and close to where I live. Even better I had ceramic crowns CNC machined and they fit great. Overall great service, attitude, and timing!

a bit of a drive for our family, but we are SO happy we found Dr. Pastore — well worth an extra 20 minutes in the car. i needed a lot of dental work and we got it done quickly, painlessly, and my teeth feel awesome — no more sensitivity when i eat ice cream!
