Very tasty sandwich shop! Friendly employees. Clean. Even when it gets very crowded the line moves quickly.

Submarina is a bit like subway but sandwiches arent all mushy and soggy like subway gets with all their sauces.
More seating and more comfortable than subway as well but submarinas are a bit hard to find everywhere. Good service and not busy at this one.

I love submarina! The bread is always fresh and most importantly, they carry sprouts! They tend to be on the pricey side compared to other sandwich shops but I think they are worth it. Staff is friendly and quick. They have a frequent buyer card which helps if you frequent them often. If you haven’t tried their sandwiches, you need to!

Squaw Bread rolls??? Oh yes! Really like the sandwiches here! Lots of toppings to choose from!

My favorite sandwich place. Especially this location. I love the veggie sandwich the most. My wife and I can get the foot long and split it in half and still have plenty of food. All the food always tastes real fresh too unlike some other sandwich places.

Still 3 STARS! I was hoping for a better outcome but they strikes out again. They did however changed the dressing again. Apparently they agreed the last one was horrible. The newest one (3^rd dressing) is better then last but not the same as the original dressing. They should contact Filippi in Chula Vista CA and use their vendor for Italian dressing.

This place has the nicest staff and they are always attentive.
This particular location takes into account the area and I always like seeing the MX décor, even though I don’t MX and never have. It’s just cool to see them embracing a different vibe and décor than most submarinas.
I live right down the street and frequently visit this shop. I’ll always come here because it’s the best in subs period «in my opinion». Come visit!

Super good subs and super nice people. This place is much better than subway. I think their 6 inch sub is just as filling as a foot long at subway.

Stopped here for lunch and was helped by the owner. This man knows how to treat his customers. Both the owner and the cashier were incredibly friendly and personable. The sandwiches are delicious-​I ordered a cheesesteak and my husband had the Santa Fe chicken. I love the food here, but I will honestly be a return customer because of the amazing owner and employees.

Love their french dip. It’s yummy. Definitely a little pricey though but all in all amazing sub place.

I’ve been coming to this Submarina since they opened! I used to come in so often the owner to this day (6 years later?) still knows my order! They always have great staff and is such a friendly place to be in! I’m so glad we have this in my home town, and I don’t plan on leaving soon, so I hope they don’t either! Oh, the foods great, too!

The staff is always nice and gives advice on what goes with what kind of sub. And when they have their chili — oh man, that’s pretty dangerous for me, it’s delicious. And I love how they cut their meat fresh and have squaw bread.

Started coming here a few months ago. The food is great and the employees are always friendly. They make the best salads and there sandwiches are the best in town. Plus they have a frequent buyers club card which allows you to get a free 6″ sub after nine purchases.

I’m in town visiting and wanted a fast food lunch that wasn’t a burger and fries, so based on Unilocal reviews I decided to check out Submarina. I had never heard of this chain since there are no locations in Ohio. It’s more like Jersey Mike’s than Subway since they slice the meats and cheeses for each order. This makes it a tad slower to get through the line, but it’s well worth it. It seems expensive, but the subs are huge.
I had an Italian Sub with provolone on Italian bread. The meats and cheese were tasty. I didn’t notice anything significantly better or worse through all of my toppings. Those were very fresh and different from what I’m accustomed to. Instead of banana peppers they have pepperoncini peppers which aren’t something we have regularly offered in the midwest. It was a good substitute. They didn’t ask if I’d like my sub toasted, so I don’t think it’s an option. I would have preferred it to be, but it was still a fantastic sandwich. A relative had the meatball sub which looked great.

Bottom line is this place is much better than subway. They actually slice the meat when u order your sandwich. In my opinion, any sandwich will be good as long as it contains squaw bread, banana pepper, and of course their boom-​boom sauce. Also, if u buy 9 sandwiches, you’ll get the 10^th free with their frequent buyers club card.
On the downside, it can get a lil pricey and there are no public restrooms.
