Denny’s

Merced Denny’s is one of the best. Staff is very friendly. I have always had a great meal. No matter how crowded the place (unlike the one in Fresno) service is still good, and the food is always hot.

Best Denny’s ever! Sat at the counter and felt like I received a show and a great meal! They were incredibly busy and the staff worked like coordinated synchronized swimmers! Amazing! Very friendly and attentive staff!

Today went with my family and one of my kids food. The service was very good and our food was pretty solid. The value was good and we will be back again soon.

Ive never really had a problem here. They have a variety of foods to choose from and are usually really good at getting your orders correctly even when adding or changing things to the original meal. The last thing I ate here was the Wild Salmon Skillet with no tomatoes. And wheat toast on the side. It was very good. It had Broccoli Mushrooms and Redskin potatoes.

The service here is great, the waiters want to be as friendly as they can but sometimes the food isn’t as good as people say it is. I would recommend going here at least 2 days out of a month with family have and a great time.P.S. please clean up a little before and after the shop opens and closes.

The food at Denny’s is always pretty good, but the service at this Denny’s is exceptional! All employees, including the chefs, servers, even management seems happy and are very efficient. It’s a pleasure to dine here!

There is only one thing I can say about the team who works in this restaurant. Absolutely excellent customer service! I asked for a highly customized burger and was given just that
I needed the burger cut in 4 to facilitate easier management and consumption. This minor edit was performed. All I can say is the burger isn’t left to tell its side of things as it was good

Service was great. We were offered drink refills by 3 different people which is great. Our waitress was Darlene and she was fantastic. Food was good.

Me and a friend had breakfast here and everyone was so nice and on top of everything. The service was fast and very awesome, everyone had a smile on their face. Not to mention the excellent food. I recommend to anyone go have a good breakfast if your in Merced go to Denny’s

I’m not a frequent customer but I’ve come here several times before. I have usually never had a problem before, and this really isn’t a criticism of the staff or food itself but of a manager in particular. After being done with an event we went to Denny’s to get some food. Behind us were some loud obnoxious drunk guys. They started harassing me and my party and even when they left the restaurant they harassed my friends. At the start of the night they were harassing one of my friends trying to record her, we went to get the manager but instead of kicking them out gave us attitude and started laughing with them. I don’t know her name but I should have taken it down because that was unacceptable and I’m never giving this particular restaurant my business again, at least until she’s fired.

I’m not very picky when it comes to restaurants I eat at. As long as the food isn’t burnt and it doesn’t take a long time, I’m happy. But I must say. This place definitely made me change what I look for.
I came in on a Saturday afternoon while on a business trip. Looking for a quick bite decided I would come here. Was seated quickly and within 10 minutes my order was taken. (FAST!!) I started to get my phone out to do my usual routine while waiting, Facebook, youtube, etc. next thing I knew the good was ready. Even overhearing how friendly the staff was with the clients. Something I haven’t seen in quite a long time. Must say Glen is great at his job and they will do great by hiring more to follow that lead.

I love this place! I love the employees who work in the morning! I must say it is two different environments coming in the morning v’s coming at night… I try not to come at night. I just prefer the morning staff and there wonderful service!

Very snotty, non friendly staff. Then the cooks, making a bunch of noise to the point it hurts your ears.
All I got was a breakfast to go. And because I felt no tip was needed, the sales clerk didn’t even hand me my food. I had to lean over the counter to grab it.
If no stars was an option, that’s where I would leave it.
Won’t ever be returning again.

One of the few places in Merced that is open late. Can’t really complain. Service is OK. Food is OK. Prices are pretty cheap. It’s all A-​OK.

Busy! This place was crazy busy and it was a thursday morning. The food was not evenly heated but the waitress was very attentive and kept checking on us.

The food is good. The service is terrible. We ordered milkshakes and only one of four got the extra bit in the tin. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. Food took far too long. We felt it was not very friendly, the waitress ruined our branching experience.

We had lunch here today on our way home from Bass Lake. A party of 10. Our waitress Ashley was beyond exceptional. She was friendly, patient & very helpful. Our food was served nice & hot. Each one of us loved our food. I haven’t been to a Denny’s in a long time but will be bringing my family more often now. The prices are great, the food is delicious & the service was exceptional.

Stopped here for lunch one day while in town on business.
My coworker ordered a Boca Burger. Upon receiving it, she insisted it was a regular hamburger. The server insisted that it was not.
After another bite, my coworker again called the server over to inform her of the mistake. She went into the kitchen, came back, and insisted that it was indeed a Boca Burger.
A bite or two more, and my coworker got fussy. She called the manager over, and insisted it was not a Boca Burger. The manager talked with the waitress, then came back and insisted that it was. The manager then went to the kitchen, started a shouting match with the cook, and returned.
It was not a Boca Burger.
The meal was corrected. The bill was not comped.
My grandfather always told me, «Sonny, don’t ever eat at Denny’s in Merced». Some things you have to learn the hard way.
