Excellent food options. My fav’s include: chicken phat thai, phat kimow. Also, when choosing a spiciness for the phat kimow I suggest a #4 for someone who wants to enjoy the flavors.

So 2 years later and this place is still my go to for Thai food or when I just want some delicious food. I come at least every 2 weeks or so. Even when the rare times when the food isn’t as good as it usually is, its still really good.

Papaya salad was so good. I didn’t even like my eggrolls but fuck I’m just in it for the papaya salad that’s all I need service was kind of off the last time I was here, but I think the woman working there was new? It’s also super small here. Parking is easy in the lot. CC minimum is $ 15 iirc

It took a while to find this place as it’s nestled back around the corner from Raley’s. But we were very glad we did. The food was really flavorful, which is a nice break from a lot of the nearby Thai places. I ordered pad kee mao, which is my favorite. I haven’t found a good one here in Merced yet, but this one may make me change my mind. It was very well spiced. I got an 8, which wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy in the mouth, but left that really good, well spiced burn in the throat and stomach. The sticky rice was perfect too with the curry we ordered. They know what they’re doing. I’m excited to go back and try the Phở.

While other places say they’re hot at 10, this compares at 6! The food has amazing flavors. Ask about the dishes that are prepared Laos style. Also, they make the sticky rice so delicious.

I always come here with friends. The food is good, prices feel a tad bit high, but it is always a relatively good experience. It’s a nice and comfortable place to eat at.

The food was ok I can’t say it was bad but it wasn’t the bast. The portions where big. If ur going for big portion size this is the place. I did like the set up of the restaurant it is cozy.

It’s my first time in Merced, and my roommates and I were looking for good Thai places to eat and finding this place was no mistake! The food was good and the people there were super friendly. They had a lot of choices too, which is a total plus. I would definitely come back here again whenever I crave Thai food!

Good service, tasty food. Certain items can get spicy, so just order a little less spicy than your usual

They have a big menu, and everything is delicious! Just BECAREFULTONOTASKFORSPICY. They will give you a scale of 1 to 10 and anything over 5 will have you sweating!

Ordered: chicken larb(mild), Thai style papaya salad(mild), Seafood green curry. Chicken Larb: pretty decent, even though the mild was more like non-spicy. It has all the flavors it was supposed to have. Thai style papaya salad: With one look, I could already tell that it was not really Thai style. It was very orange, which seemed more like Lao style(correct me if I’m wrong). I was a bit sad that there was no green beans. The flavor wasn’t bad though. Seafood green curry: This is where things went wrong, and thus the 3-star rating. The curry was a bit on the watery side, but that’s okay. What I didn’t like was that the color of the curry was literally absorbed into everything. It turned the rice green, as if it was food-coloring green. The shrimps were totally green. ALL the seafood was green. EVERYTHING was SOGREEN, and not the typical green curry color, but, as I have said, food-coloring green color. You also cannot taste any curry spice. The only thing that I liked from that curry was the eggplant. It seemed like they fried the eggplants a little bit before they put them in the curry, which is good since it prevented the eggplants from being too soggy. I guess, just don’t order curry here.

Great little place to have phở or Thai in Merced. Dishes had lots of flavor and service was pretty good. Their phở, pad thai, and curry were all flavorful and all had fresh ingredients. I’d say it’s pretty comparable to some of the better Thai and Phở places in LA. Would go back if I lived in the area. Only bad thing is it’s a tiny place. We had a party of 8 w/3 small kids and we literally took over almost half of the restaurant.

Fried meatballs– Oily, rubbery, meatless balls. Asked them to take them back and was still charged as they«were already made»

Beautiful! Outstanding food! The texture was great! Beautiful servers and service. Was treated professionally and the server return and ask question every 15 minutes. Strongly recommended to dine here!

Food has improved since last I ate here. Prices are a bit steep though. Considering this is a mom and pop shop, I’m not surprised. It’s next to where I live so I’m willing to pay for the convenience.

I love this place… However, I still prefer their original location on 13th street. Be careful when ordering spicy food; I love spicy food and usually get level 10 at other Thai restaurants… I got a level 10 at this place and it was too hot… I ate it, but I had to go eat ice cream right after. That way when I jumped on the toilet later I could have a cooling down process… Come on ice cream!

Very good Thai food. The veggies were so fresh they still had a bit of crunch to them. I ordered level 2 spice on my Panang, next time I will get a 1. Hubs ordered a level 7 spice on his pad Thai. Next time he will order a five. The restaurant is very kid friendly. They made our 1 year old steamed carrots. Level 0 spice! She was very happy to eat carrots and sticky rice with the food we brought her. They offer beer and wine. I had a Thai iced tea. They have lots of condiments at the table, some homemade! The restaurant was clean, and staff was efficient and accommodating.

This was my second time eating here and I have to say it is one of the better Thai restaurants here in Merced. My girlfriend and I ordered spring rolls, chicken satay, chicken phat thai, and the phat kimow. We came at night and they unfortunately ran out of the large phat kimow noodles, so they had to use the phat Thai noodles instead. My only concern was that the ground beef in the spring rolls was too salty. It was my first time ordering the spring rolls so I will have to come again to see whether or not the spring rolls are always salty. Other than that, I recommend trying this restaurant.

I love this place for their soups! In particular the Sukiyaki. So delicious. Their bowls of soups are HUGE and tasty. Definitely authentic and if you get anything spicy, ITWILLBESPICY. Their peppers are legit! Service is good, when it’s busy it can get pretty slow. But that’s fine because the food makes up for it! I’m gonna miss this place when I graduate!
