Great service and food came out fast. It’s a small restaurant but I don’t mind. I love the hibachi chicken and definitely get the mango mochi ice cream for dessert.

I am a visitor from Kansas City, MO. I had my order delivered. I ordered from the sushi menu and got the California rolls just in case my taste buds weren’t satisfied with the Fuji-Yama Roll and teriyaki chicken and shrimp jumbo plate… I LOVEDIT!! l fresh, delicious, I would definitely recommend Sakura. YESTOSAKURA. Yes I am ordering from them again. :)

I had just traveled from ½ way across the world and needed food before sleep. Too tired to even contemplate going out for sushi — I ordered in. I hadn’t ordered from Sakura before, but they had a low delivery and min. order fee, so I went for it. I ordered a small(which was actually a lot) miso soup, an order of spring rolls(2), 2 tuna rolls, and a cali roll, as well as the little rice flour ice cream things. For everything including delivery and tip it was $ 30. This is more than I am used to paying in Philadelphia, but beggers can’t be choosers, so I went for it. The best part were the egg rolls. The miso soup was tasteless and watery. The rolls had big chunks of fresh fish — but somehow no taste. And the ice cream encasements were so thick and rubbery I couldn’t eat them. Disappointing really, but nothing made me sick — so maybe the best thing to say is that this food wasn’t to my taste.

its not the best but for the price i keep going back. if your to lazy to got to wegmans and a nice restaurant is to expensive for you then this is the place you want to eat. selection is lacking but what they have is ok, i enjoy the lunch deals but it doesn’t hurt that there 2 blocks from my homes.

Awesome little sushi spot in an otherwise old dead looking town. The server Jenny is very prompt and helpful. I got the salmon avocado and salmon cucumber roll. The sushi took a little longer than expected to make but it was worth it because it came out fresh. The cucumber was sliced into small strands and avocado was plentiful. Salmon was fresh tasting. Jasmine tea was very tasty and refreshing. Also, not sure what the 2 star review was saying about the Wasabi because mine was moist and soft. Overall, I’d return if I’m in the area again and craving sushi.

I don’t get most people’s reviews who claim this sushi is top quality. If you have a fine sushi palate, it’s really far from acceptable. It’s not super fresh, you can tell by the blandness of taste, nor are the rolls well prepared. The«wasabi» is always extremely dry and crumbly, and they don’t even get enough business that they’d need delivery of their seafood more than once a week or so. How can that be fresh? Yokohama(Lenola Rd. Maple Shade) sushi chefs shop themselves in the Philly seafood markets daily. That’s how sushi places are supposed to be. Anything off the sushi menu is super salty and almost inedible. One star up from mall food court. Only do it if you have to have sushi taste and need delivery. Otherwise drive somewhere else. Sagami, Yokohama, or over the bridge to Philly.

We went today for lunch with my mother in law. The sushi was fresh, great presentation, and overall tasted good. We had a crunchy roll, magic roll, and a spider roll. We also had calamari which was crisp and fresh this was my mother in law’s favorite. They have great lunch specials I chose the steak hibachi with fried rice and vegetables. The lunch special is much smaller tham the full size they ordered but it is still a lot of food. My mother in law and fiancé had the shrimp hibachi entrée with fried rice and vegetables. We ended our meal with a tempura banana with vanilla ice cream. The service was impeccable. The green tea is really good. The hibachi food is much better than other local options but is not the best. More like a 3 star but am adding a star for attentive and genuinely friendly service. FYI the dining area is up a flight of stairs. The sushi bar is on the first floor.

Been here three times — never fails. I like to go straight to the point, so here: great friendly service, great food, fresh sushi, beautiful presentations, and good location. It is also incredibly inexpensive. Oh, and it’s BYOB! Definitely recommend it.

Delicious! At first I was confused when I walked in at how there was only one table and thought it was only a take-out place but then they took me upstairs into this cute little dining room. It’s BYOB which is wonderful since so many sushi places are changing to serving alcohol which ups the price. I had the miso soup, spring rolls, an avocado roll, and an Idaho roll(sweet potato). My friend had a roll with seafood in it(I’m vegetarian) and she said the seafood was delicious too. The service was quick and always with a smile. I would absolutely recommend this to people looking for affordable and tasty sushi in an adorable little restaurant. Definitely my new sushi spot because it’s conveniently down the street from me! Also, THEYDELIVER!!!

Well, I’d like to start off by saying that I’ve only bought delivery, so the eat in experience may differ. From what i learned, the only thing worth ordering thru delivery is the sushi. They make a good quality sushi & it’s also the first place I came across that delivered sushi. With that being said, sushi will be that only thing I order from there. The rice is always soggy & extremely bland(white & brown). The chicken is bland as well. As if they threw some sauce on it & heated it up. Not appetizing at all. Late night sushi craving? This is your place !

It hit me last night; the food cravings! I really wanted some shrimp tempura and at the recommendation of my aunt I called Sakura and ordered. Very friendly and quick service. And most importantly my miso soup and shrimp tempura were fantastic! Next time these for cravings come along, I will be back for more.

The food there is so delicious. I’m not big on the tuna because it’s sort of mushy n not very solid. But almost everything else I’ve had has been good. My favorite is the crazy roll, it has the crunch of tempura with the deliciousness of the California roll. The guy who makes it is really nice too n tells u every single ingredient. Even the ginger from the salad is perfect… if u haven’t tried them u really should

If I was to base my review on the food alone, Sakura would get five stars, no doubt. We enjoyed four specialty rolls, as well as starting off with dumplings, tempura and miso soup. Everything was incredibly fresh. I’ve enjoyed sushi around the world and for years have held a tiny place in Montréal as the best I’ve ever had. Sorry, Monty, you’ve been dethroned. Sakura was by far the best sushi I have ever had! The plating was artfully beautiful and the service was great. My hubby and I ate for $ 60.54 with all that food and two sodas. They even brought out a complimentary house treat for us to enjoy while our appetizers were being prepared. I love little touches like that. I like other little touches too but I can’t talk about those in a restaurant review. We were the only ones eating in on a Friday at 530 and when we left an hour later no other dining-in customers were there. Good thing for us as it gave us time to practice our«Tumbling Valinda’s «routine. We just don’t have room at home to tumble. The only reason I didn’t give Sakura five stars is because the carpet on the stairs leading up to the dining room is really dirty and because there was one, out of a dozen hanging lamps that had a ton of flies circling the shade. I just couldn’t understand why only one lamp was like this but it was smack-dab in the middle of the dining room and I was staring at it the entire time we were there. It brought back bad memories of Madame Jeanette’s in Aruba where dinner before sunset gave an entirely new meaning to «Lord of the Flies»! Anywho, the food is great, the service is wonderful and I will definitely go back. I mean, I named all the flies so it’s only right that I go back and check on them every now and then. Right?

Hurray for sushi that delivers at 10pm. My younger brother and I had such a craving and we order about 8 different rolls. They came very quickly and it tasted super fresh. I’m giving this place 5 stars for overall happy with the fact they deliver. You can’t get that around here so that was fantastic. I’ve eaten here once before with my boyfriend. The space is a little small but once they have a nice following I’m sure it will be packed. No more mall sushi for this girl.

Half priced sushi? All you can eat sushi? No thanks… I am glad this place has stuck around. There’s not many half priced sushi that is still around. As for all you can eat sushi? The quality is getting worse and worse. Then there’s Sakura. This place does not give have any half priced or all you can eat, but it is still an awesome place. Why? The prices are fair and I might even say CHEAP. More importantly? The quality is consistent. What do I mean when I say it’s cheap? Do your research and compare their menu with some local sushi restaurants. To top it off, this place delivers as some have already mentioned. I really appreciate this place is around and I hope people come support your local businesses. Thank you Sakura!

Was driving by when their grand opening sign caught my eyes. They have a small parking lot for bout four to five cars. When walking into the restaurant, we were met by a welcoming host be hide a sushi bar. She asked whether we were dinning in or take out. Their dining room is upstairs and it looks like a small living room with dining tables and chairs. The Menu was pretty decent in size. It wasn’t small, but it wasn’t all that big either. We ordered their seafood miso soup and fried oysters as our apps. The soup and oysters came out first. The fried oysters were just amazing! It wasn’t bitter as normal fried oysters. The soup was ok, in the soup there were cut up shrimp and scallops which gave a nice texture to the soup. Our main course I ordered their lunch special shrimp and steak that came with a spring roll and fried rice. The steak was cooked to order but was diced into cubes. The shrimps were pretty small, however they made up for the size by including more shrimp. The rice was pretty good and the spring roll was about average. My girlfriend ordered the lunch special sushi that ordered two types of sushi rolls with a spring roll. I was fortunate enough that my girlfriend shared with me and they tasted pretty good I would give it a three out of five. Overall the experience was good!
